Basic no frills nothing special cheap

It was ok. Needs a bit of an uplift but will stay there again if the price is right. Didn’t like the fact had to pay for parking .

We turned up exhausted to find that the booking had not come through. I had a confirmation email. Hotel was full! We were so desperate we slept in a room with no lock, no tv and one pillow. Got woken constantly by traffic and girls in the next room coming back from partying. I have sent an email to the hotel, but have had no reply as yet. The staff were very apologetic and tried to help us.

I was so so comfortable slept really well after watching calendar girls on the lovely Philips tv ! Everything was perfect and such a bargain too I’ll be staying at campaniles again for sure

Pretty grotty room, stained carpets, lumpy bed and unresponsive TV. First room we were allocated stunk of cigarettes smoke as well. The state of the room is no reflection on the staff however as they were extremely helpful, and to be fair the reception/restaurant area was rather nice. The bed linen was clean so it's clear that the place is just in need of some renovations to make it a more pleasant experience.

Grotty carpet and bathroom flooring so we felt like we didn't want to walk around with bare feet. Shower over bath didn't work properly. Bed very uncomfortable, could feel springs so put duvet over the mattress and slept under duvet cover. Mattress protector falling apart. Hairdryer not working. Its a budget hotel so maybe our expectations were a little too high.

First impressions when you walk in look good but this place is very dirty and run down - its also never a good sign when the staff dont even have a uniform. I was going to eat here but its very expensive £14 for a pizza which for a "budget" hotel isnt great i could order out for less. I wasnt the only person who thought the same as many were complaining about the price. Theres a kfc and mcdonalds just a few mins walk away which most people staying there went to. Its a shame really because it has the basis to be a good hotel but definitely needs some money spending on it - parking whilst it was free on my stay they are in the process of changing to a chargable system.

Perfectly decent hotel on the edge of town, all I needed for a single night stay. Excellent value.

Basic, but clean and comfy and good value.

Like the basic option. The room was tidy, fresh bedding and towels. Carpets in need of deep clean.

A utilitarian hotel, not the most expensive but as it was part of a reputable chain I would have hoped that the bathroom had been a lot better.

Ok for.one night. Very uncomfortable pilows and lumpy mattresses. Not a good nights sleep.

The hotel is well located with close by travel routes to the main town centre, and is within walking distance of supermarkets and other food and retail outlets. There is no air conditioning so it can be uncomfortable during hotter weather. I was away from the hotel for most of the duration of my stay, so this was a minor issue, but if you were to spend long periods of time in the room it could become more of an issue. The staff were pleasant and welcoming.

Budget down market hotel charging five times normal to take advantage of the Airshow traffic, so worn out it should be knocked down.

I enjoyed the fact there was a bath. Reported two problems in the room on my departure. Would've expected Freeview on the TV, with the option to listen to radio stations, as in Birmingham Campanile, but this wasn't available. Real shame if you prefer listening to the radio .......

Room was basic which was expected but cleanliness was poor. Carpet was disgusting and needed urgent replacement.

Travelled 300 miles and arrived at 13.45, because i was 15 minutes early i had to wait until 1400 for checkin. On checkin i was then told i had to pay £15 per night for my dog had i known this on booking iwould have chose a different hotel as when i booked there was no indication of payment for my dog as i would have paid everything in my booking, during the first four hours of our stay inth room my dog was wrestless then my partner killed a flea on the table, the room was infested with fleas i had to walk my dog at 2am to settle him down i then reported spoke with the night porter regarding the fleas and told me we would be given another room, this never happened for two nights we had flea bites also on arrival the tv did not work and the handle on the main door fell off, after leaving this hotel i had to bath my dog to get rid of these fleas, this hotel is second in my worst hotel list And as a former engineer i have stayed in a lot of hotels

Really nice place. The only drawback was I could hear the elevator not far away from my room but it wasn’t too noisy and didn’t disturb my sleep. Over all great place, good staff, nice breakfast. They don’t take cash though which was the biggest drawback

The hotel is nice

Lovely place to recoup and feel refreshed, my room was clean and had everything one would need for a rest and feel looked after.

This is a cheap hotel and you get what you pay for. The room was tired and the carpet in need of renewal. It was fine for a one night stay. The staff were helpful.

Young people shouting and playing games outside the room upto 10pm. Hot breakfast was only tepid and not as enjoyable as it could have been.

Stopover hotel and it did what I’d said on the tin . Room bed shower all great. Slightly smaller than the other chains I’d say but wouldn’t hesitate to stay again

Convenient. Beds were terrible could feel the springs. Staff untrained to food allergies. Bathroom needed updating.

Good clean rooms. Quiet location. Great breakfast. Very helpful staff. Unfortunately the restaurant wasn't open at night due to an event, but it is close to some fast food.

The Hotel is clean, tidy and the staff are all very friendly.

Clean, efficient and friendly. Good breakfast. It rained and the only issue was rain was not taken away by guttering and landed noisily on the external window sill

Room could have been cleaner

Mattresses a bit to soft but thats a personal choice Was disappointed that the restaurant was closed so had to eat out

Starting to show its age ,carpets etc also beds past sell by date and req upgrade.

Rooms are basic, but very clean. Breackfast was very good as well. They also have a parking area. Overall it is a good hotel for a short biz trip.

Entirely satisfactory.
