Pros - the front office workers were very friendly and accommodating. Kumar went out of his way to find a room with a working hair dryer for us. It took four tries, but he delivered with graciousness. Cons - this site is in desperate need of upgrade and thorough cleaning. Our first room had ashes on the surfaces, a dirty bath towel hanging in the bathroom, the fridge was frozen, an outlet wasn’t functioning and it was just overall dirty. We went to Walmart and bought our own towels, sheets, pillows and sanitizer. Very disappointed. Book with caution!

The front desk staff was so so so nice. The go bags were a very nice touch, as we were there for the Masters so it was nice to be able to grab food and go. I will say the attention to detail in the room was lacking a bit. We found a container of onions in the fridge and a pepperoni on the floor by the sofa, left by the last person to stay in that room. Other than that it was a perfectly nice stay. The folks at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable. The TV was great, it was nice being able to watch Netflix.

We stayed here due to its proximity to The Masters (about 30 minutes away). Hotel was clean, beds were comfortable and they prepared a breakfast-in-a-box for us to take away in the morning so we could get on our way quickly in the morning. Very accommodating and kind staff. Thanks.

Picture is not what the rooms looks like and the king bed isn't comfortable at all. But it was a clean hotel and they cleaned everyday

Bought a blanket because the blankets that were brought to me had cigarette burns in them in a non smoking room. I happened to forgot the blanket that I bought and remembered the night I returned home and immediately called but was informed I had to call in the morning so I did was told the house keeper that worked was off and I’d receive a call about the next day. The blanket is no where to be found lol

Fridge in room was leaking , tv didn’t work . Ac was old and wasn’t getting cold enough.

Patrice the lady at the Hotel Front Desk was very polite and professional! The complimentary breakfast every day was fresh and delicious. I will highly recommend Eocon Hotel to my colleagues!

Did not have coffee maker in room, hair dryer did not work, non smoking room smelled terrible of smoke, wall behind bathroom door had pee on it. Had a nice floor.

The staff was overall pleasant, but lacked the resources to be as responsive as they should have been. The furniture was old & stained. A dead bug was in the bathroom on arrival, & a live roach was seen in the bathroom during our stay. The TV available channels' listing was outdated. The towels were stained. The bed linen had holes in it. Overall - poor condition!

Terrible there was stains on the sofa, they were stains on a bed linen, there was more on the tub, it stink.

The room was big with comfortable. The issue was that the guest in the next room was loud and up all night.

It was good after a not so good start. Our room that they changed us too was wonderful. The noise that we had to complain about was taken care of as soon as we complained. We will consider staying there again.

Floor had used band aid and dog food on it upon entering. Bathroom had wall to wall hair including tub and soap dish.

This property was in bad shape.

There was roaches

The service was alright but when i got into the room it looked nobing like the photos I killed to big roaches when I walked through the door the bed was very uncomfortable. It was dusty stains everywhere i ended up just sleeping there one day out of my stay and checking out.

People selling drugs in breezeways. Blood stains on bed, flies and roaches.

Filthy sheets, hair in tub, hair on counter sink, toilet not clean, sticky tables , broken remote for tv, old furnishings, no communication cards, no complimentary breakfast or coffee

Very comfortable room

This hotel is located in a terrible part of town. People in the surrounding area and at hotel appeared to be engaging in criminal activity. The attendant knowingly allowed underaged girls to rent rooms. The room was dirty. There were electric wires exposed by the sink area. Bed spread was dirty and like the sheets had holes that looked like cigarette burns. Towels were worn out. We didn’t feel safe. Barricaded door with chair and slept with clothes on in case that we needed to take off in a hurry. Morning didn’t come fast enough staying at this Econo Lodge.

This hotel was awful! When you walked in to check in you were hit with a stench of cigarette smoke. The stairs to our room were rusted out and looked unsafe. Once we got into our room the side tables and tv stand were dirty and dusty. There were what looked like cigarette holes in the comforter and it had a strange smell. The bed was not comfortable at all. This was a terrible hotel!

It’s a very old and dingy hotel. We just needed a place to crash for like 12 hours driving from Arkansas to Myrtle, South Carolina. It’s not the best of course but it’s just like a basic motel. I didn’t see any bugs or anything like that but it didn’t feel clean at all. I wore my flip flops in the shower. I’ve seen worse motels but I’ve seen better. There’s a small pub/bar next door so there’s a lot of night traffic and drunk people so just go straight to your room without stopping. I didn’t feel unsafe but I didn’t feel perfectly okay there. The front desk guy was very nice though. Bring a blanket because theirs are thin. Oh but AIKEN is a beautiful and safe small town! It was voted one of the best small towns to live in in the U.S. I felt completely safe and happy in the neighborhood.

Carlos was great at checkin, cant knock him. However, the room, I wish I could have turned around and left. The housekeepers clearly don't do their job correctly. It was pretty dirty in areas. The sheets were clean, at least they looked it anyways. The fridge, microwave were dirty. Halfa**cleaned the bathroom and sink area. The little clear holder for soaps and shampoo, was sticky and filthy. There was blood on bathroom door. Once got up to use bathroom, went to wash hands. COCKROACH crawling on handtowel. Therefore i kept lights on at all times, did not rest at all. No coffee maker, not that i would use anything in the room. We didn't even shower. Got there, no washrags in room. No back to the remote. Floors were dirty. The hotel needs updated badly. It was pretty much a shady place to stay. Inside and outside just nasty. Went to check out, was gonna let them know how i felt about my stay, nobody in office and door was locked. We just slid keys through glass doors. I will be contacting corporate. Never again would i stay there

This wasthe most deceitful advertising I ever seen. The room and vending room were dirty. We would have changed rooms but there was nothing on 1st floor.Hair in tub,which leaked from shower onto floor. Wire coming through mattress and room smelt like a wer ashtry.

Our room was very dirty, nothing was clean but the bed. Nothing was washed clean, light switches, tub, toilet. Very dirty place, someone wrote on both mirrors with marker and the staff never cleaned it.
