Did not know that there was an additional pet fee, got called at 1 am to pay pet fee....Room smelled like an ashtray. Location was good, parking was good. Breakfast was acceptable.

This hotel is horrible! Our first room smelled like smoke so bad! I tried to call the front desk, but the phone was broken. I finally talked to staff and they moved us to a different room. It was a little better, but also smelled like smoke. The windows open and there are no screens, so guessing people smoke in the rooms out the windows, but smoke still gets in the rooms.

Very convenient location.

Building is close to everything which is nice, but when we got the the room the bath tub was full of dirt. The bathroom itself is pretty small and the toilet and tub are nearly touching.The mattress constantly slides off the beddrame which is some kind of chip/particle board which was slightly annoying. The next day when we went to check out, me and two other customers were trying to check out and nobody was at the desk, even when we pressed the find help button located on the desk it took them about 10 mins to even realise we were there.

House keeping left my door open all day

The staff ‘patel’ gave my reservation to another guest. We booked 2 rooms close to each other because we were family of 5 wanting to stay close because no connecting room available. We came in late straight from airport with little kids around 12am midnight only for us to be told we are about 12 rooms apart. So frustrating and the staffs Patel was yelling at us saying he’s ready to refund our money so we go look for another hotel that late at night with little kids. So inconsiderate.

We enjoyed our stay. Very clean room and staff was kind. Located close to Woodfield Mall and there are plenty of food options nearby.

It was great but could of been a little better with the cleaning

We stayed 2 nights. Overall, it’s clean but on our last day the toilet was clogged.

Front desk was very considerate & accommodating due to continued delay with my flight and then baggage once arrived at airport. They have a 2am cancellation policy but continued to hold my room which was much appreciated considering there were other people also with travel delays with no reservation that they could easily have given my room to for a higher price. Staff was friendly, room was huge, and very clean. The only 2 things that I could easily look past getting into a clean room with a comfortable bed at 3am after 18 hours of travel was that even tho a non-smoking room, the previous occupant must have smoked like a chimney in there so room really needed to be aired out. The other was that the coffee maker was missing the tray needed to hold the coffee pod so I wasn’t able to make coffee in room. However they did have coffee available in the lobby which definitely sufficed. Not to mention they had a pretty good free breakfast offering.

Entire hotel smelled bad, like rotten meat. Free breakfast was cold every morning. Walls very thin - noisy neighbors were very loud in my room. Wallpaper in halls torn, not repaired. When I first arrived, I walked up to the front desk and stood there for almost 15 minutes while the only employee on duty finished a phone conversation with a family member. He didn't apologize after finishing his call.

My rood door does not close easily, needed to push hard. The toilet was kinda stucked and when I asked the staff, I was charged to pay $100 to fix (I was locked out so I needed to pay money to get my stuff out). I will never stay this hotel and recommend to anybody. I am losing trust to Expedia as well, so I am planning to stop using the site in the future.

There was stains on walls and me and my girlfriend can hear people cleaning and people walking pass by talking and it would wake us up. We didn’t like that.

They was remodeling and they could have done better and stuff we was to have we didn’t

They have been renovating everything, so most everything is new and newly painted. I was there during the Reno work so no breakfast which they forgot to share at booking. But not a big deal for me. Price was good, room was clean

Left my one of my samsung earbuds in its case in the room on the desk, went out for a couple of hours and when i came back, the case and my remaining earbud were gone. Now, i know they say to secure your valuables, but come on, it's a single F****** earbud in a charging case!

No snack vending machine. Ice machine on my floor wasnt plugged in. Smelly hallway.

Fitness workouts room

Due to being renovated i give the owners a good job try they turning it around so also dont expect 100% hilton stay for under $100 is passable dont ruin the sheets either jk overall great stay

Location. I read more reviews on other sites (unfortunately after my stay) and most agree, this is the ONLY thing this dump has going for it. There are people in the parking lot doing all sorts of criminal behavior all day and night from drug dealing to prostitution. This is more of a homeless shelter than a motel but they just let everyone do whatever they want. I did not feel safe in the parking lot. People were ALWAYS just hanging around smoking, drinking and doing other things near the back door which was almost always left propped open. The place is dirty and run down. Overpriced.

It was the filthiest hotel ever I stayed. Room telephone and microwave were not working. They said maintenance going on. Then the hotel should have closed. We had small kids and the smell and dirtyness was too bad. Can't walk barefoot inside room. I hope it improves after renovation.

Every part of the hotel was very dirty, food spilled on hallway floors that stayed for over a day. TV didn't work properly, liquid spilled all over back of entrance door to room that looked like an easy clean, dead bugs on counter surfaces. Breakfast offerings were a joke. New owners who apparently have no idea how to run a hotel, but are perfectly willing to take your money and not provide the appropriate service. Excuse given by the staff for why everything was so dirty was " we are doing a renovation on the 3rd floor, insulting. Have stayed here many times before the new owners took over, used to y nice. Beware.

Excellent customer service

Totally dirty, the black towels, the bathroom with hair and dirty, the sheets are horrible, bad taste, I thought I would arrive at a nice hotel, but this was disgusting and ugly, if I cleaned it, it was totally a disaster.

I know it was under renovation but the smell, the carpet very old, the smell, the front desk chair. Doesn't feel like a Wyndham. Horrible experience

Room was not clean except the bed was made, but the comforter had a large stain with cigarette holes in it. Bathroom floor was dirty and the shower was not clean from the last guests. Hotel is under renovations, so perhaps it will get better. Two of our lights didn't work, and there were even outlets on both sides of the bed.

Polite and efficient service and a convenient location.

It was one of those "why did we book here?" choices. Figured a Choice Hotel/Wyndham property couldn't be this bad. In the future, I will question if your properties are suitable choicws when traveling.
