Property is older but well maintained. They have a decent continental breakfast in the morning and a wine social in the afternoon. They asked us what time we wanted the room made - I don’t know why since they came a few hours later each day. One day the just handed us fresh towels at 4:00 instead of doing the room. Other than that, the location is great - only issue was the busy road - much speeding by noisy cars at night - we were there 5 days and never saw a police officer. Close to harbor, beach and great restaurants.

We stayed there for the weekend. For staff and the amenities were great. Just mins from the wharf

The Staff was friendly and helpful. The pool and hot tub were well maintained and comfortable. The breakfast had several options. Overall a great experience.

We only stayed one night but it was extremely nice and super clean! Right across the street from the Harbor. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location. Walking distance to beach , the wharf , and many fun activities . Free parking as well . The staff is always very nice . 😊

Small room and smell. Air conditioning is noisy and gives out a terrible burning smell.

Lovely little inn. The complimentary breakfast and the wine and cheese in the evenings are appreciated and a nice touch. The pool area is lovely and the hot tub is great. Rooms are well appointed and clean and the view of the harbor and large balcony very enjoyable. Will definitely be back

Beautiful, small hotel along the waterfront in a prime location in Santa Barbara. The combination of pool/hot tub/parking included/comped bicycle rentals gave this spot the edge over several similar properties in the immediate area. We had a first floor room on a lovely green courtyard looking out over the pool and hot tub and beyond to the beach. Our room wasn't large but it was clean and comfortable and the bathroom had a tub, which we love! We enjoyed the easy walkability to nearby restaurants and bars, the large hot tub (which was wonderfully hot) and especially enjoyed the free two-hour bike rentals, which we used to ride up and down the Beach Trail. The staff were friendly and took time to give us a lot of great recommendations when we checked in. We can't wait to visit again!

I really loved our stay there. The staff is awesome (Chris and Melissa) , breakfast is included and at 5pm they also offer wine and cheese. Close to the beach and restaurants! Safe and clean!

Great hotel.

Everything was clean and well-maintained but the place felt very cramped to me. The other hotels in the area seemed the same so I guess it is how they were built back then. The room was hot and stuffy when I arrived, and the window AC unit was super loud - not possible to sleep when it was on.

I really enjoyed my stay at the West Beach Inn Santa Barbara. It is very clean, easy parking, beautiful location right across from the waterfront, the beach and the harbor. There are so many restaurants within walking distance. The pier is across the street with restaurants and shops! A really great location for a perfect vacation! The hotel has great perks with a hardy continental breakfast, wine & cheese in the early evening, nice pool and jacuzzi. Parking is included and located behind the building. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Beautiful balcony room with stunning views. Walking around, I’d say it’s the best in the area. Staff could be friendlier. Breakfast was OK but nothing special.

Bay view room on 3rd floor was spacious with an incredible view of the bay. We had a very relaxing stay and will definitively plan to stay longer next time! The staff was courteous and helpful.

We had 2 garden rooms which had comfortable beds, were spacious & had everything we needed. They opened onto the small garden, with comfortable cushioned chairs in sun or shade, nice to relax there. The staff were pleasant and helpful, and everywhere was spotless. There was a small pool & hot tub, which we enjoyed. Breakfast, which we ate by the pool, was help yourself to hard boiled eggs, bread, bagels (there was a toaster), choice of cereals, basket of fresh fruit,blueberries, yoghurt, fruit juices, teas, coffee. All hygienically served and fresh. The location,quiet, but right by the harbour, is great, with the benefit of sea breezes, a short walk to restaurants, cafes & downtown. It's about a 10 minute walk to the Amtrak station, where we took the Pacific Surliner to our next destination. The hotel provides a voucher for 2 hours free bike hire, and we enjoyed cycling along the sea front. Thank you for an enjoyable stay, I can reccommend West Beach Inn.

I love this property for the convenience and location. Great parking and close to shops and dining. Plus when you stay here….you are right across from the beach!

Loved this hotel in Santa Barbara. The staff was respectfully and prompt. Our room was clean and quiet. Parking was free and check out was at 12pm (later than normal hotel). I would definitely stay here again.
