I would never stay here again!!! The hotel looked terrible inside. The only reason why I was staying overnight in Springfield was that we went to the Illinois State Fair and stayed for the Keith Urban concert. We didn't check in until 1am, so we just slept there. I have no idea about their breakfast, because I wouldn't even go there after seeing the room. The bathroom had one bath towel and one roll of toilet paper. The sheets were ripped at the bottom of the bed. The television remote didn't work so I went to the television itself to turn it on and nothing. It stated under new management. I asked the desk clerk how long has it been under new management and he stated 2 months. All I can say is this hotel is the pits and dirty. Would not recommend!!! Find somewhere else!!!

The Hotel was being renovated so no pool, no exercise room there were paint cans by the entrance and sheet rock. They still wanted to charge full price on a hotel that looked vacant. I did not stay we checked out early.

There was cat spray smell somewhere

Bedding sheets not clean, mold in shower, floors not vacuumed, appliances dirty. Breakfast options horrible. Never again....

When we arrived they told us they were under renovations so the pool was closed. I can get over renovations; however, the ceiling was peeling, the carpet coming away from the wall. The absolute worse was when we went out after that first night, we went down the stairs (mind your fire exit) and the door had an "L" bracket screwed closed. Went to the front desk and told them we were checking out and that it was unsafe to block the fire exit and her comment was "you’ll have to pay for today because its after checkout". We left, found another hotel and stopped at the fire department on the way to report it.

I had a huge king bed with a jacuzzi tub. Door dash & the night was awesome. Clerks were all super nice.

Pool was closed. Breakfast was not desirable. Cranberry juice cocktail was the only juice option. Elevator had an odor. Microwave was analog. Carpet wasilder than dirt. Had to manually turn on tv, remote only changed channels...

Property needs major updating and maintenance. Pool has been closed for awhile.

The breakfast wasn't very good, the coffee wasn't very good. The pool was closed for repair and the parking lot and entrance wasn't easy to find. Also, when we went to the LaQuinte by Wyndham to get directions they wouldn't help and were not very friendly and was actually very rude. It was a young man but I don't know his name.

Had problems with the TV.

Everything was bad from the room to the breakfast and pool didn’t work the house keeper lost some of my stuff toilet was nt properly working bed was broke lamps didn’t work didn’t have a shower curtain when I arrived the whole stay was bad

Ice machines on 2nd and 3rd floors only. Ice machine on 2nd floor out of order. Candy on floor in hallway to our room for our entire stay. Breakfast was a joke with nothinng prepared ahead.

Place was a DUMP ! as often the case expedia discribes with pool and spa and it wasnt operational and hasnt been for months, place was musty and stunk ! Panels falling from hall ceiling, wasnt vacuumed well and was afraid to eat wat little they offered for breakfast if I were expedia i would be ashamed

Wyndham should be embarrassed to have their name on this property. Signs say "under new management" so hopefully they will improve, but until they do, stay away from this property. Hallway smelled like cat pee, indifferent staff, lousy breakfast, torn carpet, broken down furniture, patches in walls. Some old postings with good reviews, but from 2015 or 16. Pool closed. Pictures on Orbitz must be very old, it doesn't look like that now. Beware!

The pool was not opened and this was the reason we wanted to stay there. I felt they should have let us know the pool was closed for renovations.

We drove into the hotel parking lot & noticed it was not well maintained. Broken cement, uneven bricks, weeds, and broken outdoor furniture was noted to the immediate right. We were standing at the counter checking in & the check in person did not speak good English & was hard to understand. We noted a hand written note taped on the counter that stated $100.00 cash deposit was required & this had not been stated upon reservation. Our room had 1 chair & it was at a desk. There were no tables & chairs so we had to eat on the bed. The toilet seat did not fit the toilet, trim was leaning against the wall. There was 1 large towels, 2 half rolls of toilet paper with no extra in the room. The sink had parts missing on the handles & was dirty around the handle & faucet area. The ceiling in the shower was peeling off. The bar of soap was very small & was big enough for 1 person & 1 use as was the shampoo & lotion.There was single coffee packets but they were all decaf. The curtains could not be closed & we were on the 2nd floor so there was a flood light shining in the room all night which made it very difficult to sleep. We were told that there was breakfast but after seeing the condition of the room, we decided to eat next door at the Cracker Barrel. We were going to complain about our stay, but no one was around & a note at the desk said to put the keys in the red basket. We will not be back to Baymont of Springfield, IL & would not recommend it to anyone.

Everything is old and dirty (worth the price). The breakfast is gross.

Do not believe any of the photos. Note has since changed management and it shows. Paint cracking from the ceiling, no pool, tv didn’t even work in our original room.

The pictures did not add up when you get there. The pool was closed, there’s holes in the ceiling, the shower curtain looked like it was going to fall, door to the fridge fell, TV didn’t work. They a smell throughout. Overpriced for the condition on that hotel!

The property is old. It was dirty, dated and smelly. There was a desk chair in our room for seating; no desk, no table, no sofa. Lighting was horrible. The TV remote didn’t work. The faucet wiggled and was hard to get hot water. The tissue box was stuffed with napkins. There were wires running across the ceiling to the door. The walls were in desperate need of paint. Dead bugs in the stairwell. Internet was not free . I did use the desk chair to block the door during the night.

Terrible hotel and room. Severely dated, room paint was peeling, holes in the hallway, room stunk, 1 towel, 1 pillow. I would not let my dog stay there. Go elsewhere!!

It was wonderful. No issues or complaints

The price was very competitive. The pool was down for maintenance, and the breakfast was mediocre. It was a little tricky getting to the parking lot due to the location of the property. It was also not very livestock-trailer friendly for parking. It was not an unpleasant experience, just not quite up to Baymont standards.

The pool was under maintenance. The remote would not work. The toilet clogged the next morning. The breakfast food was old.

Barely anything for breakfast….had to go elsewhere to eat. Entire hotel needs updating. Dropped something behind the bedside table and when I moved it, it was filthy behind it. Not worth the $$

If you value you and your loved ones DO NOT stay at this hotel. They allow people to party right outside their front door and then refuse to do anything about it.

Pool, breakfast and Gym were being renovated while we were there and no one told us when we called. There is also nothing stating they only take cash deposits, but have an ATM in the lobby they say you can use.

Stayed there because they have a pool but it was under maintenance. So had to book another hotel and waste money. Will be contacting hotels.com on Monday to see if there is an update on my refund!
