Breakfast not well prepared for a large group that ended up emptying the buffet. Would have like to have opened the room window a little for fresh air.

The reception area is off putting when you arrive with bedsheets hanging from the ceiling, but on closer inspection this is a kids’ den area. The room was a good size with a great view, comfy sofa bed too. Good breakfast and easy to walk everywhere. Some people had their car broken into in the garage, so do not leave anything in your car if you park there.

The hotel itself is good... nothing special, but nothing to complain. Breakfast is great.

The hotel was busy but not noisy, and the bus to Malmö Central station was just outside the building so very convenient for public transport. The room was clean and very comfortable plus we really enjoyed the breakfast - so much choice in both hot and cold foods!

This is your average budget hotel, which I booked solely due to its proximity to my Malmö office. I struggled with the room temperature and very bad air quality, as the windows cannot be (or are not allowed to be) opened. A pity to sleep in a room with no fresh air. They had table fans at the reception and a thermostat in the room which could be adjusted by three degrees only (this did not bring any noticeable effect). I appreciated that there was a small gym on the 4th floor. The breakfast was unfortunately nothing to write home about, and I ended up skipping it for the rest of my stay. Would probably not book again.

The initial impression wasn't great as the lobby is a bit underwhelming. The room was clean and well done although the bathroom had a bit of a hospital vibe. I was on a high floor facing the street and the street noise on a Saturday night was pretty bad. I thought there was a club from the bass but it turned out to be the cars! The breakfast was great and the staff very helpful. Despite the negatives, I think it's a great deal for the money.

We always like staying at Quality Hotel the Mill when visiting family in Malmö. The staff are friendly and helpful and our rooms are always very clean and comfortable. (Wish it was possible to open the window, though!.

The property itself seemed very old and somewhat rundown, but with modern decor. Overall, it was clean and interiors were nice. The breakfast buffet was excellent, with various options and dietary restrictions. Loved it, we couldn’t have asked for a better breakfast. The bus stop drop off from the train station was right outside our hotel and location was optimal for public transportation. There were plenty of restaurants, bakeries, coffee shops that we discovered maybe a 10-15 minute walk from the hotel which was excellent as we enjoy walking and taking public transportation as it’s very cheap and easy. We chose this location in Malmo primarily because it was an easy train right into Denmark across the bridge. We spent more time in Copenhagen than we did Malmo but we enjoyed it. We also ventured out to Lundt for the day and found various coffee shops/restaurants. Our entire stay was lovely. The gym is small but we’ll equipped with free weights which I prefer. Front desk was friendly, although the male employees were far less knowledgeable than the female employees. They were very helpful and polite. The only thing we disliked was having to request housekeeping service the day before, that should just be included… the room was basic, the water pressure could be better but we did have a great view of the town from our room. Overall, it was a very comfortable and excellent stay.

The hotel was fine, rooms an ok size but I was surprised that there was no cupboard for clothes, safe or tea facilities. Maybe that is the Swedish standard for 3.5 star so cant complain. Decent price. I asked for a breakfast tea at the bar and they couldn't give me one. Only green tea. That was a surprise. Ok it was the bar but I thought they would have had some.

Recommendation!

It was a bit difficult to find the entrance on a side street to the address! Entrance signs and plants are needed to draw people in. Comfy beds. Friendly staff. Good breakfast buffet.

It was within walking distance to attractions and great restaurants.
