Excellent hotel, felt like a resort experience!

Service and cleanliness

Nice place to stay, pleasant staff, clean rooms, good facilities in room, rooms could maybe do with updating in the near future

Maybe when I booked the hotel and missing some details about the cleaning service. Every 3 days is 'light touch" means changing towels and garbage bags only. I'm not used that kind of service, and the breakfast lady was very mean.

We had a wonderful stay here. It was quiet and spacious. Will defy book again when in the Toronto area. The staff was very helpful. The free breakfast was great. The only thing I would say is for a hotel of this size there should be a second elevator. Also parking should be free with stay. Also there should be more recycling bins in the rooms etc. all the garbage and recycling went into the same garbage so not very recycle friendly. Honestly though it was a great experience.

It needs a lot of cleaning and repairs and maintenance to get to next level. Overall it was poor to average stay.

I was disappointed to learn that there’s an additional fee of 95$ because I came with a dog. When booking, it was not mentioned anywhere. Overall the hotel is clean and the rooms are comfortable.

The location is close to highway and easy to commute. But the breakfast menu is poor and always run out of food.

Overall pretty good for a 3-star hotel. It's a bit older and has one slow elevator. Breakfast was good though and the staff was responsive.

We recently stayed at this hotel and had a great experience overall. The gardens and planters surrounding the property created were beautiful and inviting atmosphere. The staff were friendly and attentive. The homey ambiance of the rooms, combined with the comfortable beds, ensured a restful stay. Additionally, the breakfast options were varied and satisfying, providing a great start to each day. However, the only downsides were that some room features (tiles chips, etc) could use updating and the pull-out couch was not comfortable. Despite this, the overall experience was positive, and I would recommend this hotel for its warm atmosphere and excellent service.

My recent stay at the Sonesta Suites in Markham, Ontario was decent but not extraordinary. The hotel offered a comfortable experience, but there are definitely areas for improvement. The room was clean and spacious, providing a good amount of comfort for the duration of my stay. However, the overall decor and facilities seemed a bit dated and could use some freshening up to enhance the overall ambiance. Breakfast at the hotel was okay. It had the basic offerings, but nothing particularly stood out. A bit more variety and higher quality options would significantly improve the breakfast experience. Service from the staff was generally friendly and efficient, which added a positive touch to the stay. However, the hotel could benefit from some renovations to bring a more modern and appealing look to its interiors. Overall, Sonesta Suites provides a satisfactory stay, but with some updates and improvements, it has the potential to offer a more memorable experience for its guests.
