It is outdated and expensive. The downstairs is beautiful, but the room was not clean, not up to date, and not peaceful. I would not have minded the room if the price was not so expensive.

We showed up early from out of town. The young lady that helped us was very friendly and took my number and would contact me once the room was ready. About 20-30min later she called us and we got our room. It was great! The room was clean and comfortable as well Thank you!

In town for a couple games, had a great time, the hotel was worthy, I would stay there again, high marks across the board

Room and front desk very nice and helpful! Attempted to go to the bar. Unsure if they were understaffed at the time, however took about 20 minutes for a bartender to speak with us, just to say it’s going to be a minute. Came back about 5 minutes later, took my order which was a simple glass of wine. Then took another 5 minutes to receive, and I waited forever with my card out to then cash out. Overall not good service and didn’t return to have dinner for fear of the same issue timing wise.

Loud noise of the motor bikes from the outside was all night long.

Overall, my stay was pleasant with clean and basic accommodations. The room had a good flow, with an open plan set up divided by furniture to make two separate areas and accommodations for work and rest. The bed was comfortable and the space clean, if a little shabby at the edges. The lobby of the hotel is a bit awkward, so it made the entrance uncomfortable, but the staff welcome was good. Getting to the elevator was also awkward, with an open utility closet at the end of a hallway that wasn't well marked, so it wasn't clear I was in the right place. There was no place to refill water bottles. In the open closet, there was no bar high enough to hang a dress or long jacket without dusting the hem on the floor. There were no hooks in the bathroom for towels or clothing, so it was a little inconvenient at every turn. The front desk did not have extras like an umbrella to loan me for the rain. The staff was friendly and as helpful as they could be. A fine experience, but nothing special.

Great place and walking distance to attractions

Building is older and with that, comes some HVAC issues. First room I was in, the temp didn’t move from 77 degrees. They were gracious and moved me to another room. The temp never really regulated in the room and was hot/cold all night long. Not really the experience I have had at other Indigo hotels.

I literally found a used pad under my sink, the bathroom stinks buh ion know what it was until I dropped my make up brush under the sink, I turned on my flashlight to get it then boom there is the pad lying all the way in the back, the coffee machine was really dirty I couldn’t even make coffee n I have a video of it

Super friendly staff and very convenient location. It's walkable to get to the many public transit options in Downtown Detroit, or even to just walk to many local spots. Definitely a place I'll stay at again!

Over priced for the night I was there

Price was way too high for this property due to concert. It was not that convenient or that nice. Happy for them they can get that much. We would have stayed out of downtown and gotten a much nicer hotel at half the price.

Property was great; with quick and easy check-in. Staff was very nice. Easy walk to Ford Field & Comerica Park. We stayed in a room with a foldout couch and did have to call down to get bedding for it; which was quickly brought up. We had no other issues, and had a great stay.

Personable and friendly staff, clean and comfortable room, breakfast at the Trolley Room was delicious. Our concert at Ford Field was an affordable Lyft ride away. Would definitely stay again.

Great location

Check-in took 40 minutes due to long lines and short staff. Took 35 minutes for valet to bring my car around after checking out, not to mention they charged $40 for this very poor valet service

The bathroom was extremely tight. The toilet was up against the sink. The shower door only opened on the side where the shower head was located. I was very surprised this wasn’t mentioned on any of the reviews. For the price point I expected better quality. Will not stay here again.

The hotel failed to provide the room I booked months in advance. I booked a 2 queen suite and the manager said it was not available due maintenance. He had me find him the next to get the room I booked and he was not present. I was given a king with a pull out. I slept on the pull out, which was next to the a/c, and simply no comparison in comfort. The same manager offered a $50 credit. Nice hotel, perfect area downtown, but clearly unable to manage a lot people coming into town.

I’ll start with the positives. Valet parking was easy and helped us a lot, given the parking situation in Detroit. The place was very clean. And, once I finally got my food in the restaurant, it was really good. Now the negatives. It took an hour to get checked in. Most likely because there was only 1 person checking people in. The line to check in was literally out of the door onto the sidewalk. And plenty of people were waiting in the lobby because not enough rooms were ready. Now the restaurant. Only 1 bartender/server for the whole place, and this hotel was at capacity. She kept locking the doors to keep people out because “she’s too busy”. I had to get a valet guy to let me in. Then I sat there for 30 minutes without any acknowledgment. When I had enough, I had to ask for service and that meant I was “rude”. I saw a patron at a table eating, get up to use the bathroom and got locked out of the restaurant. His food still on the table with his wallet and phone, and he was also called “rude” for knocking on the door to get back in. Unbelievable. That was at 5:00 in the afternoon. The doors were locked again at 10 pm that night with a restaurant full because they were “too busy”. For $700 a night, this is unacceptable. I would have to be desperate for a hotel room to stay here again.
