Old building, totally under construction. No hot water, electric plugs on lamps do not work. Plug for bath tub did not work. Area behind the unit was totally over grown. No breakfast, given a to go bag.

Parking lot under construction. Room very dated and carpet was disgusting!! Place should be closed until Reno’s are finished. Advertisement showed a heated pool and there was nothing. Would not recommend this place unless renovations are completed.

Internet rubbish, very dated rooms. Couldn’t open patio door. Breakfast a bag containing water, juice, apple, yogurt, same every day. Nothing substantial. Staff unhelpful when mentioned about special needs child and a breakfast alternative like toast. Building site in car park.

The pictures of the property were not representative of the actual motels condition. Construction all around the parking area and behind the rooms. Internet was not working when we arrived.

Hotel was dated and there was no breakfast. Lots of construction material around but the room was quiet.

We weren’t aware that it would be under construction & therefore lacking ammenities. It certainly didn’t look as the picture advertised!! It felt sketchy. The room was in the desperate need of upgrading! It looked beat up! The A/C wasn’t working well at all. We had to do old fashion way to turn on/off tv, as remote wouldn’t do it. The advertised “sun deck” was in need of paint & no lawn/muskoka chairs to even sit on to enjoy that space. The advertised “breakfast” was a bag with warm bottle of water, warm juice box, an apple & yogurt. The reception area in OBVIOUS Renos, with boxes everywhere. They should have started with the actual rooms we stay in for Reno’s!! In the reception area, where we could get our morning coffee and breakfast, clean folded laundry was on the same counter. Public Health would have loved seeing that! At this point, we wouldn’t recommend it. But maybe when construction is finished, it hopefully would be a lot better.

no notice when we booked it was under construction, for the price we paid, its over priced, they add they are dog friendly, then charge an xtra $15. It was a quick one nite stay, but wouldnt have done it longer!

Older facilities but very clean.

The room was not clean. Wall and floor was dirty. Some painting board was broken on the floor. All the site was in construction. I decide to leave and stay the night.

We weren't told of the construction at the building. We arrived 2 hours early and the room was ready but wouldn't let us in because check in wasn't until 3. So we had to pay 20.00 tax to get in earlier. You would think they would have accommodated us because of the construction. Won't stay here again. 200.00 for a sm motel under construction grrrr.

Property under cinstryction

The room was ok, staff lovely. Unfortunately the entire site was a construction zone and they perhaps should not have been accepting guests

The first room we stayed in, room 7, was awful. It was not clean, there was nasty marks smeared on the back of the toilet door, it didn’t smell nice, the decor was extremely tired, the bed sheets were not clean, the patio doors looked over a bunch of containers used for the on site building site - even the entrance door looked awful. For the first time ever, I refused to stay in the room. They offered a ‘free upgrade’ - this room was marginally better although still not great. It had two beds instead of the one, hence the ‘upgrade’. We did stop in the room at night only as luckily we were out all day. The TV didn’t work either and this room was also extremely tired and not cleaned properly. The toilet, under the rim, had about 3 inches of black mould, and around the shower lever used to turn on the water was also covered in mould, Black out curtains had holes and let in light. Also woken at 7am by the builders machinery (reversing beeps) The owner, however, is a very nice man as is his wife/staff. He is currently building another hotel and all his building workers are using these travelodge rooms. He has advised that these travelodge rooms will still be in use for a couple of years but my advise to all reading - book into the brand new hotel when it opens and stay far away from this travelodge.

The room was clean but very much in need of extensive deferred maintenence and updating. The comforter was stained, but the bed was comfortable enough. The property is under construction so it's nothing but dirt and sand everywhere which is almost impossible not to track into your room.

The area around the property was a messy construction site. The rooms were very outdated. Breakfast consisted of a bottle of warm water, a juice box, yogurt a very small granola bar and an apple. No pool to be seen!

Under co struction and muddy

Walked into a tiny dirty run down room and immediately went back to the front desk and said I could not stay under these conditions. I asked for a refund and was told to contact Expedia as I booked through them. The man was anything but polite or helpful. I tried to call Expedia 2x the man disconnected me and I never heard back. Terrible service

It was pleasant, they even had smoking rooms that we're away from the rest of the non smoking rooms. Staff were amazing

With construction on site, it must be challenging to keep facilities looking tidy! Although staff was helpful when we had problems getting our tv to work, it wasn't working well the second night either. We were also disappointed when our coffee maker was not fixed as promised. Perhaps spring and finalized construction will help with more consistent service.

Really bad experience

The hotel was under construction and was not told about it. It said Breakfast included. We got water, yogurt, granola bar apple that is not Breakfast.

It hasn't been the best place for awhile but stayed for convenience. Will never stay again. Charging full price for rooms that should be closed. Room was filthy dirty. There is construction going on but is no reason why the rooms are disgustingly dirty. Toilet seat was broken/dirty, mold in the bathroom in several spots, stunk of urine and the walls/light switches were dirty. Soap and water is an easy/cheap solution. Will never go back even when new build us open because they dont care about customer service at all. Equipment was beeping and going at 8:15am when there is a 9 oclock bi law. Wyndham should be embarrassed to have their name on this place.

Although the property is under construction as they are building a 5 storey hotel, we were super impressed with how clean the room was, how big the room was and how quiet it was. We would stay here again for sure.

The bathroom had mold, everything looked very old and dirty.

It's is under construction! Construction garbage, dirt piles and heavy equipment. Would not have stayed had we known. Room was listed as two queen and a double. We got two doubles and a queen. Listed as having a "sundeck" got a tiny dirty square of a deck surrounded by construction garbage.

The building was under construction and there was a lot of construction in the area that was not listed on their website. Staff was polite and very helpful. Made for very nice overall. Maybe just a little overpriced

Very disappointed in this property. Wasn’t advised it was under construction. The toilet wasn’t anchored to the floor, no WI FI when we got there. A chair my husband sat in - the leg broke off which could have been an accident waiting to happen. And no breakfast because of construction and we’re compensated with a coffee pot in the room!!!!! This place should not have been open while under construction. Very disappointed with the price we paid. Would not recommend to anyone at the present time. Also 2 telephone calls at 4:13am

The site is under construction, but did not impact the stay in our rooms. It was pet friendly, and there is a pretty garden and attached trail to walk on directly across the street. Thanks for your hospitality.

Property currently looks completely different than pictures advertised. The whole front area is under construction. The pool is closed. On check in the room was hot and musty smelling, and I found a bed bug in one bed. Hotel refused a refund but Expedia was more than helpful and offered alternative accommodations (I had already gone and checked in somewhere else).

The place should be closed. They are building a new place and they existing units are going to be torn down. the parking lot is ripped up and there are large garbage bins and building materials in the parking lot -- roof trusses. The access to the front lobby was dangerous, rubble, broken patio stones, sand piles, unbelievable! The continental breakfast was a brown paper bag with expired yogurt and an old shrivelled up apple. The room itself stunk like old stale cigarettes and was dirty. The patio door was difficult to open and close. They advertised 2 patio chairs and a table on a nice deck outside the room, but it was an old deck and no chairs or table on it and looked into a neighbours backyard, no fencing or privacy between them. The air conditioner was loud and squealed. The TV volume would not turn up and the closed captioning was distorted so you could not read it. All in all it was TERRIBLE.

Everything was Ok

Wasn’t expecting to stay on a construction site. The kids were disappointed the playground was gone. Perhaps update the photos to reflect current condition of the property. Service was great tho.
