Front desk staff was rude on check in. Three at the counter and none of them greeted me or even gave a smile during any part of the interaction. Overnight clerk is very nice and considerate. Professional and kind. But the daytime staff held a very snobby and unfriendly impression of the hotel overall.

The elevator buttons were hard to press. Elevator ride rough. Door handle to room difficult to open. COUNTER IN ROOM INFESTED WITH ANTS.

We were not notified by Expedia that this hotel has been bought out by La Quinta. We could not find the hotel, and only going to a Holiday Inn (not an Express) did that staff member tell us to go to this La Quinta. I had already paid for the reservation and nothing said La Quinta. The hotel is in a renovation and mostly complete. There was no sign posted anywhere for us to know that this was the correct hotel to come to. Thankfully, the staff member at the Holiday Inn in a different direction off of the interstate told us where to go. The bed was very comfortable and the a/c worked great, but the sink drain was clogged. I had to go ask for another towel as we were only provided one towel and I had noted two guests on the reservation. The elevator sounds like it’s about to go out of service at any moment.

Renovation in progress of the property, but staff was helpful with late check-in (we had called ahead). The morning breakfast was a bit better than the standard fare at hotels it seemed.

Property did not even have the type of room I booked. I booked the King suite with sofa bed and when I called to confirm, the front desk immediately sent me to terrible hold music without even acknowledging me or answering the phone (just immediately answer and click me over to the hold music) so I did not even know if the phone number was working or I was calling the right place. This happened three times before they finally said the name of the hotel and asked me to hold. I needed the king suite because I was traveling with a toddler and baby, and that is what I booked (which was $20 more than the normal king room). When I called they told me they didn't even have that type of room, and if I wanted a refund, I needed to call hotels.com, that there was nothing they could do.

We did not get the type room we reserved. Paid too much thru your app for this room. TV remote did not work. Tub very slippery. Not enough towels, no hooks to place used towels to dry. Toilet was very, very low. Inconvenient for seniors. We request a refund or points toward another stay

This was a major fault for me since the pics of the place and its description gave no indication it was still in a major renovation. The room was average but lights had no bulbs on 2 fixtures. i give this hotel a below average rating for these reasons.

The hotel is under construction. Room didn’t have bedding for pull out bed or towels when we arrived. Only 1 lamp and bathroom lights worked; other lights dead. Bathtub was dirty but everything else was clean. Staff however was friendly!

Room was great except for minor repairs needed, libel under remodel but it was handled well, pool area needed updating. Room was very clean and comfortable

We were told we could not get our AAA discount because we booked thru hotel.com. Wasn’t told that when we booked online. Tv control in our room didn’t work. Was told there was nothing they could do about it. No discount offered because we booked thru hotel.com and payment was already completed.

Good location, comfortable beds, and cleanliness for short stay.

Not a great part of town when you pull off the highway. If I didn’t have nonrefundable room I would’ve kept driving. Then I walked in and the entire lobby is under construction. The counter manager and employee were very nice and very helpful. The room was OK in cleanliness - not amazing. There was literally was no soap and one bath towel, one hand towel, one washcloth. No bath mat. The bed was very comfortable and the air conditioning was good, but I would not stay here again.

I ended up leaving this property and finding other accommodations.

This property is under construction and i found out, now, has been for a while. No one told me that when i was making a lodging decision. But, that not withstanding, the room that i was in still has issues. The toilet is very small and I've had both hips replaced. My wife has had no such measures, and it's still too low. The toilet role is already broken. The staff had to know it because someone has tried to use toilet tissue to men's it. I went to get ice from the ice machine and when it was found empty, on all three floors, an associate of the hotel tells me that the work crew is using all the ice, leaving none for guest. The breakfast was OK. But it's in a space doubling as a meeting room and is wholly inadequate. Not to mention that it started late. In summary, It's a construction zone, it's poorly ran, the person on duty made it clear that she was bothered when i asked for a refund. When she spoke to someone who said, refund me, i think they had realized ALL other hotels were at capacity and that there were essentially no other places to go. Although, one (of several) guests did find accommodations elsewhere. We weren't that lucky due to staying period length. Bottom line this hotel, renovated or not, in my view, is and will remain a "dumpster fire" , this coming from one who has stayed in hotels in both large and small cities throughout the country, as well as in other countries as well. If i was offering advice to others, BEWARE

No laundry, updating property so needed sitting for my elderly mother. No chairs were available in front area. No place to hang clothing.

Staff was super nice, and rooms are being renovated. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. However, they are doing some major renovations and the lobby is full of supplies for the renovation. If you check their website there is a small post about the renovations, however on Expedia there is no mention of the inconvenience. Also, the pool will hopefully get a refresh. The pictures look like there are from 20 years ago, and the jacuzzi looks like it has been non functional for awhile. They had a great selection for breakfast. The property itself seems to be on the border of not safe. We did not have any problems. So, if you need a quick place to stay, don't mind the mess and don't plan to use the pool, I would recommend. We chose this hotel, specifically for the pool and was very disappointed.

The property is under MAJOR construction. The room and hallway reeked of pot and cigarette smoke smell. Management would not refund my money for both scheduled days.

Very disappointed we didn’t know they were doing construction n remodeling. The dust was horrible. Had TV problem n breakfast was moved to conference room. No apologies from staff.

The hotel is undergoing renovations on the ground floor and was very noisy when I checked in. However, I could hardly hear the noise in my third floor room. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room spacious and clean, and the bed very comfortable. I would stay there again

Recently stayed for a quick overnight during some traveling. Hotel was undergoing renovations and our room did not have any hot water for showers, there was some carpet that had torn leaving carpet spikes that my husband and I stepped on a few times, and the deadbolt was not well functioning and sometimes would not allow us to easily close the door. If we hadn’t gotten in so late and planned on an early departure, I would’ve asked for another room. As it was, I regret spending more money at this hotel than I would’ve spent at a cheap motel that would’ve at least had hot water.
