The location was very good. Walkable to everything. The staff were super nice and accommodating. The ownership however very much need to update the property. The cost per night is not worth the rooms. You are paying for location.

We had a terrible experience with our reservation. The first room they put us in, room 102, was dirty. The bathroom was dirty, there were mosquitoes and bugs in the ceiling, the room smelled mold, and there were stains on the floor. Then they switched us to room 204 which had similar issues. Floor was dirty, there was an almond on the floor, and worst of all, Mold in the ceiling. So we had to be moved again, this time to 204. At this point, the experience was so frustrating and we were exhausted we just stayed in the room. But it was a smaller room, no tub just a stand up shower, no sofa just chairs. Shower had mold in corners and water pressure in shower was terrible. I asked for the manager in different days of my stay but there was never one available.

Absolutely dreamy, I would come back anytime, great location, walkable, great restaurants, and shops around the area, the beach is a little high, so worth it because it’s so beautiful to walk up and down the street, very enjoyable, friendly staff, highly recommended

We loved hotel Posa Posa. The location was perfect. It was very close to the best restaurant in Positano (Posides). They have one of the only pools in that area and it was very convenient and refreshing on a hot summer day. The staff was very helpful and friendly and the views were AMAZING!

Beautiful views, nearby restaurants, up the hill from main square, shops all along the road. Easy taxi drop. Helpful front desk.

Awesome location, adjacent to bus stop, easy 20 minute walk to beach and town center, great views from rooms, sunny in the morning shade in the afternoon.

This is a great hotel, with an outstanding view. Great staff, very welcoming. Cute balconies and decent breakfast. Bathrooms are outdated and in need of renovation. Also, balcony had dirty furniture. Which is such a shame as the hotel has great potential and with a little effort, can make it an outstanding hotel. I still recommend based on the location, gorgeous view and the amazing staff.

Excellent stay in Positano. Up near the top of the hill so a bit out of the heavy tourist area. But a relatively easy walk back up the road from the beach. Staff is helpful and friendly. Breakfast was great! We stayed in a family room which was plenty big enough for the four of us. Lovely balcony as well.

The staff are 1st class. Bus stop right outside makes for easy transportation around. The actual hotel needs a little upkeep.

The people at this hotel provided very helpful and friendly service. The views are terrific in this beautifully scenic city. We had a terrific stay!

Hotel Posa Posa is great. Our room had a great view and was very quiet and comfortable. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel is in a good location. Easy to walk almost anywhere in Positano. Can’t wait to go back again.

My friend and I came to Hotel Posa Posa in July 2023 and cannot recommend it enough. They arranged our transportation to and from the airport. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The location is perfec—it’s far enough from the main shopping area that makes it accessible but not overwhelming due to crowds, when we booked a trip to Capri it was a very close walk to the meeting place, there’s a bus stop literally next door, multiple delicious restaurants are within a five minute walk, and the entrance to the stair path to Fornillo Beach is right next door (and I’d highly recommend this instead of the Spiaggia Grande if you’re going at high tourist season). When we return to Positano, there’s no doubt we’ll stay here again!

Beautiful Hotel. We booked a room with a view and the view was everything I had hoped - I think it is the photo used on Expedia. We traveled mid- October and very few people . Our room was spotless and the balcony was very nice. We drove and there was parking in a private lot across from the hotel.

An absolutely beautiful magical property with an incredible view of this beautiful vertical village and the sea! The staff are extremely helpful and friendly and work hard to make your stay enjoyable. Highly recommended you won’t be disappointed!!

Very friendly staff and assistance with directions etc. I highly recommend the hotel location because it’s close to restaurants but not in the city center crowd!

The views from the rooftop and rooms are incredible. The staff was extremely helpful with aiding us in booking a private boat cruise and transfers out of town. The rooms are a little dated and the mattress bed frame were not great but fairly consistent with other 4-star hotels on the Amalfi coast we stayed at.

Hotel was smelling bad, room in very poor condition. No service except the front desk guy was helping a little bit.

Nice hotel, clean, kind staff and easy walk downhill to the shops/restaurants etc. Best views start on 2nd floor up. Breakfast has a variety but the same thing every day.

My husband and I stayed at Hotel osa Posa for 5 nights for our honeymoon and loved it! We had an issue with our initial hotel booking and last minute got booked at Posa Posa and we were not disappointed! They were extremely welcoming and accommodating. Our room was lovely, clean and cold (which was great considering we were travelling in the middle of the heat wave). The location of the hotel is a little higher up in Positano which we loved, we were still in walking distance from the beach and the square but we got to be a little further away from all the busy tourist areas/people. There are some amazing restaurants further up from the main square plus we had a sea view room so we had incredible views from our balcony! We had breakfast everyday on the terrace. I would very much recommend Hotel Posa Posa if you are wanting to stay in Positano!

It was a great stay with a perfect view

The staff were extremely kind and helpful. The view from my balcony was excellent. It was good to have a pool, and the pool deck was also an excellent place to sit with a beautiful view of the town and the sea. It is an old school hotel, understated with class, older style decor kept up well. The breakfast was good, once again a great view. Being an older building, the noise from the next room was pretty noticable, and on the deck next to me the folks smoked cigars as well as at the pool. But thats Europe. Its quite a trudge into the main part of Positano, you have to be ready for a long walk into town proper and a longer one back. Be aware, the pool is small and shallow, you wont be swimming, but probably a plus with kids. The restaurant and staff are great, but expensive. I would stay again, and would say my experience was "very good".

POSA POSA was amazing! It had a beautiful view of Positano! The rooms are extremely spacious with a balcony or a patio, Had a small pool that was perfect on the hot days. The restaurant in hotel has a great breakfast and our dinner there was one of the best we had in Italy!

For the price, we were expecting nicer and cleaner accommodations. Bathroom was dirty with shower and sink handles having white mold. Also, they did not change sheets during our stay.

The staff were more than wonderful. They were helpful, friendly, personable. The room was large and comfortable.

The hotel is not even close to the star rating shown. Room has lot of humidity, towels were worn out, bathroom not well maintained and with nonexistent ventilation. A day of heavy rain leaked through the lateral windows. Definitively not worth what we paid.
