Very nice place to stay. The young lady at reception was really helpful with everything. Very good for transport with the light rail only down the road. Would definitely stay there again

Down side was the bed massage has had to many body's on it over it life and sags badly in the middle. Latch on bath room door needs replacing.

Was perfect for the kids as there was a great pool and very close to the beach and playgrounds. Only thing for me as my mobility is compromised I could have done with a ground floor apartment instead of a third floor one

We loved the room size and location of this property. We could walk to the beach, playgrounds, shopping and restaurants. The facilities were clean and there was plenty for my 2 young kids to do while we relaxed in the sun.

Overall we enjoyed our stay at Breakfree.
The pool was fantastic , heated so can use it anytime. Loved the spa as well. BBQ facilities were great too. Maybe adding some outdoor heaters in my that area would make it more usable during cooler nights.
Close to the beach and shops.
A couple of small issues. No pool towels in apartment so had to use bath towels the first evening .
When we asked for pool towels they didn’t have any so we were just given more Bath towels.
There was some mould on the blinds in the living area in the apartment we stayed in and the dishwasher had not been cleaned in a while.
Some extra garbage bags and dishwashing supplies would be great too.

Pool area was great. Kids loved it. Good location and friendly staff. Rooms require some maintenance (door handles falling off, carpets stained, and water leaks). Our first stay we had some cleanliness issues but they were very responsive to feedback so we decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and book to stay again. Our second stay the cleanliness was good through the living areas and bathrooms but all curtains and fly screens (internally fixed) were covered in an extremely thick layer of dust leaving the rooms where you sleep smelling musty and it was difficult to breathe. I had noticed the curtains were the same in our first stay but nowhere near as bad as our second stay. We won’t return as a result of this.

Our two bedroom apartment was very old and run down. The rooms had a bad smell and sliding doors wouldn't shut properly. Bathrooms were not clean with the top of the fan in the main bathroom that had years of build up dust. This is not good and would have a lot of bacteria on. Pool area was lovely. would have liked the water temp a little warmer for the time we stayed as it is winter. The apartment was very expensive for a run down place. Safe wouldn't open when we arrived after hours to collect keys.

The apartment is promoted as refurbished with contemporary furniture, the images did not come close to matching the actual interior. Very tired interior. Not cleaned to a high standard, food and sand under the couch etc. There is currently construction of two towers going on next door so not so peaceful. However I understand this isn’t the fault of the apartments.

Check in was easy and fast with very friendly staff that accommodated our need for 2 car parking bays. Pools were amazing. One cold, one heated and 2 hot tubs, so perfect for all weather across the day. Room was clean and well stocked with kitchen essentials/towels/extra pillows blankets

Nice for families. Digger started up at 6.4o 100 yards away. When we mentioned this we were told this was mentioned on website. Got 20 dollars back eventually. The odd coockroach was perhaps inevitable

The grounds were nice, the pool GREAT, the rooms are huge. But there was stuff missing. No face cloths, only 4 towels for 3 of us over 7 nights so we had to wash them very regularly. Our room was quite obviously in the stages of being done up which is great, but all the remodeling stuff was left in the room like floor tiles and paint which was off putting. I really hope the bathrooms are being redone as they need serious love. The last negative was the lack of sound proofing we heard everything from our neighbours and everything from outside. We had a lot of trouble sleeping through our 7 night stay. We did enjoy it, but look forward to there being improvements when we return

Room condition was generally good but, unfortunately swimming pool was not available while we stayed. Also, every morning during weekdays, the noises from nearby construction woke up our little kids from 7 am... it wasn't good ..

Comfortable enough accommodation if you have children as there is a great pool area. The complex is a bit run down and is looking a little tired. Apartments have fully equipped kitchens. A little out of the hustle and bustle of central Surfers but an easy stroll to Pacific Fair shopping centre. I felt it was overpriced in comparison to a lot of other newer and modern apartments.

The grounds of the property were kept immaculate, but the cleanliness and maintenance of the apartments and stairwells were appalling. Carpets were filthy, walls need a good paint job. Marks and chpis in walls everywhere. Cobwebs on windows and thick dust on paintings and bedheads. Broken locks habging off the internal doors and mould in grout of bathrooms
