Room was very spacious. Balcony was a nice added bonus. Rainfall shower was nice. Didn’t use the restaurant but it looked very nice. The fitness center weight room is a little out dated. Door bell didn’t work so on several occasions housekeeping just let themselves in while I was still in the room without knocking first. One day the minibar attendant came to check inventory. She took one look inside, said ok and left. Later that evening when I returned to the room I noticed several things missing from the minibar and noticed that housekeeping had come to make up the room. I reported the missing items to the receptionist but they had no idea what happened or seemed to not have a log of who entered the room that day. After receiving a replacement do not disturb sign (room never had one when I checked in), I noticed housekeeping continued to enter the room even while the sign was hanging on the door. When I checked out, my invoice listed charges for the minibar, the same items that were somehow removed that I reported previously. Will probably not stay there again.

The room smells and it isn't a good smell. Moldy. The room is cramped and small, not enough room for even a chair.

Need to know this is a hotel run by students.

When we arrived, the staff charged us again for the room whereas we had already paid to Expedia. When they realized their mistake, they were not able to reverse it. We have to wait until tomorrow to see if another manager can reverse the charges.

The hotel is old. In the rooms there were big stains on the carpet. The air conditionning was only heating. We had the room next to the lift and there was very noisy in the morning. The staf was a bit seroius and not so much kind. The breakfast 16€/person. Very poor choise. The cheese was dry. Realy not worrh 16€. The restaurant very expensive.

The hotel is clean with spa and fitness facility. The front desk staffa are friendly and helpful.

Everything about the hotel was just as we wanted. A dip in the spa pool, then meals served to our room, as requested. Staff and service was excellent. The wake up call by the fire alarm at 7.30am was a little annoying but only a false alarm and all was well, did not detract from our stay.

Although the hotel is not in the centre we chose it due to the ability to park. The car journey into the centre was very quick.

We had an uncomfortable experience at this hotel. We booked it for only one night, thankfully, as we were passing through from Barcelona onto the beaches in the South of France. It was in somewhat of a random secluded area. When we got to our room there were paint stains on the floor, the curtain was off of the hook, or broken, and in the bathroom and bed were black hairs. When we looked outside from our window the view was so strange. We were looking at an abandoned hotel or apartment complex but it looked like some people were still living there. It was not very nice to look at and a bit creepy. Appearances really are everything so the view together with the room being not clean were a big turn off. We were happy to quickly check out the next morning. The hotel staff were actually very nice though. It seems this was a hotel used to train college students. I should have read more of the reviews here, or the lack of reviews I should say.

Brilliant

Great hotel with a complete spa at your disposal. Very good service, been also a school, most staff are students giving their best. 2 restaurants, the one upstair simply magnificient with very sophisticated dishes. Rate for the room a little high in comparison to other hotels in town.

Slightly hard to find but absolutely stunning location. The renovated chateau has been done impeccably and the food is outstanding at the restaurants. Really sophisticated environment.

Comfortable hotel with good brasserie. Aircon in the roon only seemed to do cool and evenings were turning colder so a little warmth would have been nice. Room servicing was also a bit hit and miss during our short stay.

No sheets; food stains on the couch, waited two hours for them to move us to a new room as no sheets were available. New suite had no lights in the room. Paid $280 a night with no compensation (they offered to get us drinks....). It's a school so staff is inexperienced. Bad location and hard to find. Stay away

The food was expensive and tasted weird, served by inexperienced staff, who put the forks and spoons directly on your table. They don't speak English and let you wait on the table too long for serving the food. Bottom of line, they don't deserve the four stars. Perhaps somebody should pay them a visit to revisit the state of the hotel, the way it looks now.

The Hotel was very welcoming, even when we asked to change rooms because we had been allocated a smoking room, this was not a problem for them. We had a wonderful buffet dinner at the hotel and enjoyed the pool and spa. When we booked in for a beauty treatment this was very professionally done. Great range of treatments for those who have been on the road a while.

Well, while this hotel is not located in the heart of City Center, it was a 'GREAT' place to stay. After being in a small apartment in Paris during the summer heatwave of 2013, the room we had here was a palace. The size was comparable to what we are use to in the US. Likewise, the bathroom was more than adequate. Other amenities included a pool and gym. Also, the morning breakfast buffet was filling and had many different meal options for different nationalities. The staff were friendly and are multilingual. If you don't need to be located in the middle then I would highly recommend this hotel. Cheers!

Hotel is half an hour from Nimes not in Nimes as it suggests. No Bar no lounge area no gardens to sit out, Leisure facilities only open Mon - Sat. A La Carte restaurant closed 3 nights a week

Upon approach of the hotel, we weren't quite sure about the "four star" rating; however, once we walked into the lobby, we were pleasantly surprised. The interior was updated, including the bathroom. The room was average. Breakfast was provided in the cost of the room. Wireless internet access was available in the room as well!
