The absolute best thing about the hotel was the food served in restaurant. The chef was excellent and the staff were also helpful and professional.
For the price the hotel room was ok we slept extremely well as beds were comfy

Admittedly it's many years since I stayed in a Campanile. Back then it was a family run francise offering personal service and a basic, but good restaurant offering local dished.
Now it's like a cheap motel. Cold, impersonal and vaguely unpleasant.

Rooms have MOLDY smell. Bathroom full of MOLD. FLIES at breakfast. AVOID. Inconsistent hotel brand management: I have stayed at Campanile hotels in the same price range which are excellent (Metz Nord)

It was a hefty walk from places I wanted to see. And it lacked a few amenities such as a safe & refrigerator. Middle of the road. But the staff was great!

The hotel is just ok. Average. Nothing special. But quite comfortable oaverall.
Good for 1 night stop-over. Has a free paking on-site (rare thing for France)
Breakfast for extra charge (about 10 EUR) - was poor. Croissants and slices of cheese and ham.

Check in lady was great, english was perfect. She checked us in super quickly.
The room itself was ok. Had twin beds. They were comfy enough for what ur paying for. They had aircon, not the strongest but was effective. Same for the bathroom, not the best and odd with yellow light but otherwise the room as a whole did what it needed, which was provide us a safe place to sleep and shower

Hotel Campanile Nimes Centre was clean and comfortable. We did end up driving closer in to town and walking everywhere from there, but one could walk from this hotel if you had the time, or take busses etc. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff was great.

The staff is very commited, giving the best possible service. Unfortunately the hotel is old and requires some improvement, they have also a big problem with ants....

Room was small, very dated and their car park is also used as a mobile drive through COVID testing site which we were not made aware of until we noticed when we were leaving, otherwise we definitely wouldn’t have stayed here.

This hotel is OK just if you have to do a stop over and you need the parking (extra 5 euro). Otherwise it is rather sad, impersonal and old

The hotel has a very good price for quality, the location is very good when it comes to eating and shopping, a lot of restaurants nearby, McDonald's, Domino's, Asian food and many others, very close to the La Galerie - Cap Costières Shopping Centre and some markets. The room is ok, not that big, but very clean, comfortable and everything was working. It has a coffee/tea maker machine, which was great for us. Breakfast was very good, too. It has a big and accessible parking as well.

The rooms are so small they sold it as to sleep 3 people if the third person is asleep you can not get into the bathroom/toilet it was so dirty the room is right on a main road noisy just not nice

The extra bed next the double with no walkingspace to the bathroom is not normal for this price.
We've stayed in better hotels for half this price. It wasn't clean. Never again!

The hotel staff is nice and helpful. The check-in and the check-out are very easy and fast. In front of the hotel are free parking spaces. Next to the hotel, two minutes to walk, is Mc Donald's and a supermarkt. The hotelroom was clean and the bed convenient. At night it was unfortunately very loud in the hotel, because of the thin walls. The hotel should be fully renovated. The breakfast was sufficient and good. The price for breakfast is fair. All in all it's a good budget hotel for one night stop. At pass the hotel facility, the hotel seems to be a motel like you see in bandit-movies in tv. It has a special charm.

We knew other campanile hotels and the room they offer us doesn't reach the Campanile standard. Very small sized, dark, very old. Absolutely uncomfortable. The first thought was to leave the room, but It was late and we have a child so we finally stayed there.

This hotel requested my credit card details on arrival so that any tab I raised could be billed to my room. I did not have breakfast at this hotel, nor use any of the facilities. I have arrived home to find a completely unexplained £45 transaction on my credit card paid to the hotel without my permission. I do not know what this charge is for. I have contacted the hotel but received no response so far. Would not recommend this hotel to anybody, they are greedy scammers.

Hotel Campanile – NimesDate of visit – 9 February 2017Fairly easy to find and within walking distance of Nimes. Plenty of street parking and if you are lucky there might be a space immediately in front of the hotel.Allocated rooms on the 3rd floor at the front overlooking the main road. There is a lift as well as stairs. The doors are locked at night and access is by keycode. The rooms are a good size with a king sized double bed. The bathroom is a good size too, towels and shower soap is provided. A kettle and supplies for making tea/coffee are provided. There is a TV and free WiFi that works well. Everywhere is clean and well looked after.There is a Lidl only 5 minutes walking from the hotel.

We were passing thru town and needed a hotel with easy access to the major expressways. There was a bus nearby and we to of the bus into town so we did not need to move our car. We also ate dinner that night at the hotel and it was excellent. I would recommend this hotel highly

This was a halfway stop between Italy and Spain and hence not much to talk about. It was in a convenient half-way point for driving between Nice and Barcelona.

July 2015 - If you are going in the summer, AC is not very good at this hotel. They changed our room twice but not much air flow. No Hair Dryer or fridge (large or mini), VERY basic room & Internet is intermittent. If you only want to sleep and don't mind the heat its good, if not look elsewhere!
