The location of the hotel is just one block to Copacabana beach. Lots of restaurants, supermarkets and pharmacy. Breakfast is included in the rate, comfortable bed & pillows, just one little window at the room & bathroom. Very friendly and polite staff, good wi fi, excellent A/C & water pressure.

Everything was great and up to date. Except for the fact that the pool is rather small and the fact that the guy who check us in was rather rude. Staff has and must understand that we are not staying in the hotel for free. I have stayed at more expensive hotels and never been treated like that. He made a big deal about us not having breakfast included in the room price. But with some many excellent options around the neighborhood who needs breakfast included. Besides sometimes me and my wife like to sleep in after long days taking tours.

The Windsor Martinique was such a fantastic and safe location to both Copacabana and Ipanema Sandy and safe beaches. The weather was just perfect. The staff were amazing from the front door keeper to the friendly and polite reception staff and all the breakfast and evening staff were so welcoming and friendly especially Paulo. Breakfast was so delicious with just so much choice. The best cappuccino we can recommend in Rio De Janeiro! We will definitely stay at The marvellous Windsor Martinique Hotel again. The Hotel has very high standards. Thanks once again to all the friendly and welcoming staff. Excellent location and walking distance to so many great restaurants and shopping all in walking distance.

My Trip was canceled the day before I was to arrive. It is now 6 days after I arrived and I still have not been able to speak to anybody at the hotel about a refund. I have been waiting for hotels.com to contact me three separate times. When I reach a human being they are very nice but to get to a human being is a big problem and often they tell me that I have to wait 24 hours and someone will call me and that is yet to happen. Actual hotel has been extremely rude to both myself and the hotels.com representative.

Perfect location. Walking distance to Copacabana beach and Ipanema beach. Tourist tours accessible to the hotel. Unfortunately the full 16 days we stayed, the pool was having maintenance done. So no pool for us.

3 star hotel with a 5 star location. Staff were always helpful but the hotel was very much 3 star. Crowded breakfast room and swimming pool not in operation during stay. Hotel could do with an up date.

This was a top quality Hotel in an unbeatable location in Copacabana. As you leave the Hotel and look left you see the Beach ! Not only that but the staff were all superb, very helpful and all spoke English. On my final day, I checked out but was not flying till midnight..they allowed me access to Hotel Pool / Bar / WiFi with no charge. An exceptional Hotel !

Hotel is wonderful and 1/2 block to the beach. Staff is extremely helpful and service oriented. Marco took special care in making our visit perfect. Outstanding and the best hotel we have stayed at in a long time. Will definitely return and can recommend without any qualifications!!!! TOP POSSIBLE RATING!

Good hotel in good location for the beach and nearby Ipanema. 5 min. walk from metro stop too. Restaurants/shops /bars also a plenty close by. Our room on the 7th floor (top) was a little noisy at times, with mechanical/plant room next door. Very clean, with room staff in attendance every day. The breakfast was excellent and a great choice of things every morning. The only letdown (and also for hotel staff), was during our stay the wi-fi connection was hopeless and kept dropping out!

The staff were beyond helpful from the moment we arrived. Location - very convenient location and feels very safe. Staff are always at the door and help you into your transport, etc Room was spacious and clean Pool - is quite small but good to cool you down! Overall Great value for money - feels like luxury at a good price

Each morning, I was greeted by a vibrant spread of fresh fruits, flaky pastries, savory cheeses, and local delicacies. My room was small but cozy. It was spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated, and equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Furthermore, the bed was comfortable, and the air conditioning was a welcome relief from the Rio heat. I wholeheartedly recommend the Windsor Martinique Copacabana to anyone seeking an unforgettable experience in Rio de Janeiro. The only thing for me is that they’re not pet/guest friendly and had hidden charges; like, they charged way too much for the snacks and drinks inside the fridge and I much rather have just gone out and bought my own. I think it’s best they don’t have snacks in your room and load the little fridge with drinks because it’s taking up space. Also, one more thing I did not appreciate. Although I left my do not disturb sign on the door they still went in and when I returned back to my room they had left a message under my door saying I could use cleaning to contact them when I returned. Was the day before next day I was supposed to be checking out. I won’t be staying there again. However, do to the staff all being very polite, and the breakfast, and if someone doesn’t mind some of the things I didn’t like, I’ll say it’s a great hotel to stay at. I’m just very picky and hard to please. It felt safe and was only a half block from the Copacabana Beach.
