We enjoyed our stay at Hotel excelsior. Nice rooms, nice balcony and the staff were so helpful!

We stayed here for the first time. It was easy to get to the beach and restaurant. Staff was friendly. I needed to delay my check out for one hour due to delay of my flight to Monaco. They accommodated my request and I was happy. Merci!!

Had a very enjoyable 4-night stay. I found the staff very friendly and welcoming, the room was comfortable, the breakfast was really great and I found the location really good - short walk to old town and promenade that allowed you explore other parts of nice on the way.

Lovely experience! Front staff is gracious and helpful. Breakfast is terrific.

Room was far too small for a King size bed. Front desk was very helpful to suggest good restaurants.

Relaxed yet professional staff. Tasty breakfast and free coffee. Deco alittle tired in room, however this is fault finding and did not lessen my time at hotel.

Such a nice location and Nice-Ville train station right there. Plenty of bakeries around for morning brekky and baguettes. A lot of room and we had our own family suite. Rain shower was awesome plus separate bathtub with another rain shower! Great value for money and excellent friendly staff. The safe wasnt unlocked from last guest and reception forgot to unlock it when I asked. The lights in sofa area keeps automatically turning off after about a minute which which was annoying but they gave us a lamp as no technician on site. But we would stay here again definitely. .

Wonderful stay at the Excelsior. Couldn't find a single fault.

The breakfast was great at this hotel and although there were some nice aspects of this hotel, it does not feel like a 4 star. The rooms are tiny and you can hear your neighbors. One of the concierges was rude and locked guests onto the balcony for a period of time because he didn’t see them out there.

Stayed with my child for 4 nights, very conveniently situated next to Nice Ville train station. All staff were amazing, very friendly, helpful with all requests. We felt very welcome. The hotel is super clean, with coffee and tea facilities in the room. The breakfast was nice, and apart from the usual fresh croissants and cheese had a choice of boiled and scrambled eggs, bacon and sausages. On the downside, the room we were in was quite small but this is typical of Nice/ Cannes so kind of expected. What was unexpected, the quirky design of furniture. The bedside table that look styled as old fashion suitcase or pirate chest, but wouldn't open! The wardrobe was very small, and lack of storage was obvious. Lucky we only had 2 carry on!

Nice enough but not ideal for jet lagged travelers because there’s no public space after hours. Great breakfast but food allowed to get cold about an hour before service ends.

Great hotel, polite and friendly staff, nice room with a balcony from where there was a good view over the Avenue Durante. The location is good too - the main train station is just a stone throw away, and the seaside some 10 minutes to walk. The breakfast buffet was excellent, and the WiFi worked fine. I definitely would stay again. Highly recommended!

Lovely hotel 2 minutes from the station and then 5 minutes from the shops. Really clean and nicely decorated. We had a very large bedroom on the 2 nd floor. Staff were nice and polite and breakfast was great. Absolutely stay again.

If you want the authentic French look and feel, then this is the hotel. Its smaller, staff is very accommodating, overall was good experience. Good walkable distance to train stations as well as Old Nice where you can find restaurants and attractions.

The location was a pleasant walk to/from the shore, plaza, shopping, old town, restaurants. The staff were top for offering recommendations that lead to wonderful experiences we share stories about when asked. Would definitely encourage a recommendation and/ or consider visiting again.C’est Bon!!

Thanks for the amazing time. It was a great place for three nights, with a really good connection to the beach, the airport and other lovely cities around Nice.

A beautiful hotel,fantastic and friendly staff who could not have been more helpful ( was even helped in opening a bottle of wine that I had bought that had a dodgy cork by the kind receptionist and her co worker, apologise but forgot their names but she was from Austria and the gent from France, also 2 lovely guests from Estonia also tried to help,multi nations coming together all for a bottle of wine!)great location for shopping, train station and tram. What a wonderful place to visit. Thanks-Phil D

Friendly staff , comfortable room.Very good breakfast. Hotel was tastefully decorated and welcoming. We even managed to get a late night drink at the bar.

It is convenient

The young woman who greeted us in the afternoon when we arrived, Tanya, was great. She is a five star employee. The rooms were excellent and the location great. Some cereal bowls were dirty at breakfast, and the bread ran out before breakfast was over. The blond headed man who was on duty at 4 in the morning the day we left made inappropriate pro-Trump political comments regarding the trials of the former US president.
