Great location

Great location to Downtown Pacific Grove and Cannery Row. Room clean but dated. Loud plumbing and long running toilet after flushing. Old carpet needs replacing or a good shampoo!

The Hotel room was clean, but we had no heat upon arrival. They lit the pilot on the gas heater but didn't provide any CO detectors. We had them turn it off and provide us with an electric heater. I think for a hotel that old this is very dangerous.

Location was great, Stay was quiet and reacing. However, arriving to the lobby was definitely not my cup of tea! Not only did it smell like Marijuana extremely bad, but we bumped into the lobby employee going into a room full of his friends who were smoking out with the doors and windows open. The whole walkway to our room reeked of heavy Marijuana. So i can definitely say it it not a kid friendly hotel if the lobby associate is not only partaking in smoking in the room(s), but also inside the lobby. Which is a shame because it is a lovely hotel.

Great location next to the beach. Staff was very friendly. Bed was comfortable.

Perfect location for scuba and bike riding

When I arrived I requested a handicap room. I was downgraded from a king size room to a queen size that put me away from all handicap accessibilities like the ramp… handicap parking ect… However I did notice that the room for handicap remained empty. We were only there for one night and it was awful.

I like the location. The beds are so comfortable! I slept like a baby. Staff was super nice! Daniel was the receptionist who help me with my charger I had left behind. Super nice staff! We stayed on the 2nd floor and used the elevator when we needed to go to the beach or dinner. Car was safe in the garage. I will stay here again. Thanks for making my Birthday trip fun and comfortable!

Check in was easy and super friendly. Accommodations are nothing fancy, but the location was prime! Right across the street from a great restaurant, and just a few steps out to the cliffs and beaches.

For starters, this place has obviously new ownership that doesn’t give a damn about quality. It was dirty, loud and broken. I don’t blame the workers because it’s clear they have a Punjabi owner who doesn’t care about upkeep. We had 1 working electrical outlet far from the bed. The carpets were dated and disgusting. It doesn’t matter if someone vacuums them. There were visible dog feces stains. The walls are paper thin and you can hear everything. The front desk doesn’t answer the phone and they close their office early despite them being stating they are open from 0600 until midnight. Avoid this place at all costs. I’ve never left a negative hotel review in my life.

The actual room was much shabbier than the pictures - eg tape on bathroom floor to patch broken tiles, dirty carpet in the room

It was easy to walk to the beach. Shower valve very very difficult to turn on.

Hotel is conveniently right across street from Lovers Point beach with amazing views. Unfortunately that is the only great takeaway from this hotel. Parking is pretty nonexistent street level. Yes there is a sketchy underground lot with no lights on, don’t recommend leaving car overnight. Room reeked of something funky, you can hear everybody in all rooms surrounding, so bring your headphones. Furniture is super old and very random. What’s with the outside patio furniture in the room! Yes this is obviously a very old hotel but not at all worth the $300 night price tag. All it has going is the convenient walking distance to Lovers Point. Not at all a place I want to spend any time in. Stay away!

Amazing staff, view and surrounding area, AC did not work but the coast breeze was a life saver.

Beds were comfy, good range of pillow styles, room was spacious. It had a small fridge and a microwave. The place is starting to show its age however, especially with the shower/bath. It is really close to the water's edge which was neat

You're definitely paying for the location. Right across the street from Lover's Point. 5 minute walk from many restaurants. We went in with realistic expectations of a 2 star hotel. The sheets and restroom were clean and that's all that mattered to us because the competition in the area costs at least twice as much. They have EV parking which was a huge bonus since their parking tends to fill up quickly. We would definitely stay again in the future.

The location is the thing. The rooms are a bit run down and dated, but the ability to walk to shops, food, and the waterfront path more than made up for it.

The area was beautiful and had a lot of nearby areas however, when we checked in the hotel was very hot because of no air conditioning. Thankfully we left the windows open so during the night it felt fresh inside.

Help was excellent, across the street from Lovers Point, great views. Strong vent fan in bathroom. At first sight didn't think much of it but really ended up enjoying my stay.

4 Stars but 5 I am Sure for most I recently stayed at Lovers Point Inn and had a very pleasant experience overall. The property is incredibly clean, and the rooms were excellent—comfortable, spacious, and exactly what we needed for our stay. One of the standout aspects of our visit was the exceptional customer service. Carlos, in particular, went above and beyond to ensure we were well taken care of. He was outstanding, always willing to assist with a smile, and made our stay much more enjoyable. The employee who services the property also deserves a mention for keeping everything in pristine condition. The location of the inn is fantastic, especially if you're planning to spend most of your time out and about. It’s close to many attractions, making it a convenient spot to stay. The property itself has an older, not-updated look, but it adds to the charm if you’re not looking for anything too modern. The reason for the four stars instead of five is due to a couple of minor issues. First, there was no air conditioning in the room. This could be my oversight as I didn’t catch it in the description, but it would have been nice to have, especially on warmer days. Secondly, there was a creaking noise in the ceiling that would occur every once in a while, lasting for about five minutes. It was a bit distracting but didn’t significantly impact our stay. Overall this is a fantastic place !

Small old style room with sink in the bedroom. Tiny bathroom. Carpet had wrinkles and needed to be tightened to smooth out wrinkles. Noisy. Paid way too much because of a local event.

Checking in was fast and easy, staff was great. The room was outdated but very clean and comfortable. Great price for the location!

Location Location. Walking distance to park & beach. Nearby restaurants. Walking trail to Aquarium & Cannery Row is great. Hotel is dated but still a good place to stay. Fridge & Microwave. Elevator. Free Parking.

Stayed for two nights on the 3rd floor. Room was clean and airy. The mini fridge had a bleach towel inside so we didn’t use the fridge much. There was a standing fan, ceiling fan, and plenty of lights. The window can be opened on both sides and having it open at night felt nice and cool. Parking was limited in the front but there’s extra parking underground. The view was amazing and the ocean was less than a 5 minute walk away. Recommend if you wanting to relax and have a relaxing time by the ocean and walking activities.

Excellent place to stay for relatively little money. Directly across from Lovers Point, it can’t be beat. Room was old but clean and the bed was awesome.

Location & kind staff, I would give five stars right across from the ocean, beautiful beaches, and tide pools and plenty of food options walkable ..but the condition of the room two stars, they kept it very clean & the beds were nice but the carpet was just so disgusting & bathroom so old made it hard to feel clean. It did have enough outlets, microwave, fridge, counter, space, and plenty of free parking.

The property was okay. It’s definitely more of a motel than a hotel so don’t expect anything super fancy. Their parking situation is okay but a bit weird. Only one way in and out of the garage so there could be an accident any day if you’re not careful.
