Wonderful hosts and delicious spread for breakfast. Accommodations were lovely. Location was a 10-15 min walk from the main dock area of Newport, which was perfect for us.

The room was very small, but clean and comfortable. The grounds are heavily planted with flowers and shrubs, nice to look at. Breakfast was exceptional, and attractively presented, with a large variety of fresh fruits, baked goods, wonderful bagels, The hosts will cook to order as well. All in all, I would recommend a stay

Such a great stay at The Sarah Kendall House! The Innkeepers and staff were amazing. Daily breakfast was over the top and the gorgeous furnishings and decor were beautiful.

LOVED OUR STAY AT THIS CHARMING BED AND BREAKFAST....EVERYTHING WAS ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL....LOVED THE BRANDY AVAILABLE TO ENJOY ON THE AMAZING FRONT PORCH....SERVICE AT BREAKFAST COULD HAVE BEEN FRIENDLIER BUT SHE WAS VERY YOUNG AND FOOD WAS DELICIOUS!

It was a beautiful property with gorgeous gardens. The home is meticulously maintained. Brian was very welcoming and interesting to chat with. The breakfast was top notch! Would definitely stay again!

This was our first time staying at this property. What a beautiful house and yard, & the owners were friendly, kind, and gracious with regards to a personal difficulty we encountered during our stay. Bryan was a very kind and welcoming host! We loved the Victorian charm of the place and the breakfast served in the morning is incredible. We’ll definitely be back!

Bed was very uncomfortable. Big dip in middle of the mattress. Wifi was poor.

While a lot of the reviews for this B&B are excellent, I can only comment about my experience concerning customer service. I bought a night for my parents, and unfortunately they were unable to stay. Although the night in question was after the cancellation window, we tried to at least move the date - understanding that we would have to pay the difference. The woman who my mother spoke with us extremely rude and seemingly unwilling to help. The first thing she said was, “Well you are going to lose your money.” Again, we understood that we would have to pay more - which I was happy to do so that my parents could enjoy themselves. She claimed we had not tried to call her previously - this was a flat out lie. We called and left a message, as did Hotels.com. I understand a policy is a policy, but the way in which this was handled reflected very poorly on her and the B&B as a whole. Based solely on that interaction I would not recommend staying here.

The house was spectacular. The antiques, woodwork, floors, fireplaces and much more. Great location!

Bryan, Fran and Mary were all great. I was on crutches during my stay, and they were more than accommodating. Lovely room, great views. Delicious breakfast both mornings, with fresh fruit, bagels, juice, coffee and a main dish. Walking distance to downtown, even on crutches!

Really nice B&B with some old world charm , great antique decor on a quiet street. Breakfast was excellent with fresh OJ, all kinds of fruit, bagels, muffins, and egg and cheese omelet. My husband and I took a three week New England tour and the Newport stop was a part of it. Tours of the Mansions and the waterfront were wonderful. Our stay at the Saran Kendall House was perfect.

This was a Sisters getaway. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house is filled with antiques and the house itself is an antique! Meticulously maintained, our every need met. Breakfast was fabulous, the bagels and muffins from the owners own bagel shop. Be sure to take the hike upstairs to the widows walk tower to enjoy spectacular views! It is in a great location to enjoy all the sites, many even in walking distance. We also loved her cookies always set out with coffee and Hersheys kisses and the warm inviting livingroom with fireplace going and brandy awaiting you. I will definitely come back!

We cant say enough good things about our stay. They had never received our reservation from Expedia and thankfully had 1 vacancy. Location was good easy walk to downtown area and lots of great restaurants.

We only had a quick overnight but the hospitality was great. Mary helped us find a nice dinner spot and Bryan helped us put an order to our one day of sightseeing. Breakfast was sumptuous and the climb to the Tower Room worth all those steps with that beautiful harbor view.

Please make sure that you catch the gorgeous sunsets 1/2 block a way on the dock. Also note, you can park your car in the driveway and avoid getting ticketed! Room Tip: ask for the third floor room overlooking the ocean

We were not in the house, but we had to walk to the side of the house and walk 34 steps to get to our room. The room was cozy. Breakfast was okay, we had to ask for things.

Great B&B with a wonderful view, within walking distance to anything you need in downtown Newport. Bryan, the owner, gave us wonderful suggestions about local places to eat, things to go see while in Newport.....and put on a breakfast spread that knocked our socks off both days (every kind of fruit imaginable, wonderful bagels, muffins, coffee, juices - AND bacon, french toast and/or eggs & potatoes! We stayed during the week - and so were upgraded to the best suite in the house.... Can't say enough about how you will enjoy your stay here....you come in from being out and Bryan is asking if you want a beer!

Bryan is a great host and house is in a wonderful location Quiet neighborhood and close to town and visitor center so getting around is a breeze
