This is a wonderful B&B exactly as described- right outside the city wall, very clean, and with parking space and breakfast. I will definitely want to come back and stay there again!

Good breakfast, nice garden, close to Porta Elisa to walk into the walled city.

Amazing place to stay and visit Lucca walled city . The rooms are spacious beautiful decorated, comfy beds nice and cosy for when we got back from walking around the city. Breakfast was amazing, with loads to eat all fresh all great quality. Most of all the lovely people working there make you feel so welcome and we can thanks enough for all they did for us! Communication on CheckIn did not work, had to call someone, announced eMail message was not pressent. Room is nice, a little bit small but very high, water boiler, tea and coffee present, bed is good and comfortable, but in general room starts to need renovation. Breakfast is OK for Italian Standard and staff was really friendly. I also was allowed to leave the car a little bit longer, what is much appreciated.

I loved Lucca and this hotel was right in outside town and super convenient. Everything was very good for the price. I would have preferred a hot breakfast but the selection was still nice. The bed is too soft for me, but that’s a personal preference and nothing to rate the hotel down on, just informational.

Our host was friendly and helped to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. He even delivered brown bag breakfasts to our room the day before we had an early tour departure. The other mornings, the breakfast was excellent and we ate in a pretty outdoor area. Our room was a bit small for our 3 single beds but the bathroom was large and everything was clean. If in Lucca, I would stay at Lucca In Villa Elisa & Gentucca again.

Good size bedroom snd bathroom. Enjoyable stay. Very nice bfast. Most courteous employees. Not as quiet as I thot it’d be - wore earplugs because of street noise. Located short walk from train station, short walk outside the walled fortress. I think Reception and Villa names signs need to be more prominent. I didn’t realize there’s 4 separate bldgs until I arrived.

Elisa is a very short walk to the pedestrianized city, and it seems safe before dawn and late at night. I valued the convenience of the nearby city wall, a marvelous place to run and walk. The owner has an eye for unforced artistic decoration and is attentive to detail (including Covid 19 precautions). And switching the heating on when it's in the 50s outside is very welcome. Reception during daytime.

It was so close to the historical city of Lucca. The owners were so sweet. They heloed us book a reservation for dinner and took the time to explain a map of Lucca to us. Id stay here again.

Proximity to old town is very convenient. Clean and spacious room. Excellent breakfast.

This location was a good value overall. We were close to the walls of the original city and a short walk from the train station-15 minutes. There is not a refrigerator, but breakfast is ample. We had a nice little veranda off our room. This is more of a hotel room than a private residence. We were not contacted prior to arrival to confirm logistics, as with our other bookings, but if you have google map you can figure it out.

Great location with parking and still a short walk to the historic city center. Very friendly staff and the best breakfast we've had in Italy.

we had a very good holiday. Everything in the villa was perfect. We thought it would have been nice to have had a small bar on site maybe between the three villas somewhere if you didn*t want to go into town. Just a thought. On the whole everything brilliant Would definitely reccomend. your villas. Would.

Good location near a gate to the walled city, parking available

After reading the recommendations here we decided to book two nights at this hotel and were extremely disappointed. It all started with a late check in we had to do, unfortunately no one informed us that the reception works only until 6pm (strange by itself), and upon arrival we had to spend almost an hour looking for a way to contact a hotel personnel (a hard thing to do since the only number the hotel provided us id the reception's number, which was of course close. The room is ok, but not too clean, the bathroom as well. The bed was really uncomfortable and during all of the night we had a feeling we are getting stung by insects while lying under the blanket. The breakfast was quite poor, and after trying it out we decided to skip it the next day and just grab a bite else wear. We've seen some better b&b's, find yourself another place to spend your holiday in Lucca.

Very comfortable quiet and clean hotel. Well placed for central Lucca ( 10 mins). Would definitely recommend it.

We had a great stay! Perfect location, really close to the old town. It was an easy drive to the place and there is parking on site. We had a large room and a nice breakfast. Definitely a good choice.

This is the third time we have stayed here. The breakfast was very good, the room was spacious and clean and there was free parking. It was very close to the walls and good value! I would recommend it and go again!
