We had NO POWER !! The employee told us when we came at 7pm that the power just went out, we were told it was getting addressed so we were able to check in and go to our room, we had to use our phone lights to see, we’ll hours kept going by with no power, I finally fell asleep with the balcony door open and had a horrible sleep, got up the next morning with no power still! We couldn’t shower,have the tv on or a light or get our free breakfast nothing was used except the bed to go to sleep! I also got on google to check the outage map and it stated the power was out since 2:47 pm!!! Had he told us that we would’ve went to a different hotel! I was very upset about it, we actually left Daytona early because of it and I originally wanted to stay til about 6-7 pm! I do expect a refund and I won’t stop until I get one because that was absolutely ridiculous!

Nice room, was clean and smelled cleaned and very close to the water. Everything is descent about the place but the latest checkout is 11, not 12 like many locations. Breakfast is continental, but it’s something to hold you over until lunchtime. Lots of restaurants in the area and grocery stores. Thank you Jerdine for your kindness and speedy checkin.

I came up with a really catchy and fitting name for this beachside "Boutique" during my stay! "Salty Hooks Hotel" You get what you pay for. The lady that checked us in was nice though, so there's that.

On arrival we were upgraded to a top floor ocean view room. Great view of the beach, fun watching ospreys fishing.

Front desk super nice and helpful. He actually seemed more like a GM. Some of the room fixtures are worn down, but I’ve seen worse. We had an ocean front room. The view and proximity to the beach were amazing for the price. We will return.

Beautiful hotel Clean, modern and quiet! Highly suggest getting one of the bottom floor rooms walking out to the pool!

Great location on the beach, nice pool and hot tub, plenty of chairs and very cute patio with swing was part of my unit. Room needs an update, painting, cleaning and updates needed. Staff were fine, just indifferent. The continental breakfast was very limited. Microwave in the room, but was too dirty to use, no coffee maker. Could be a great place with more care.

Ok, this review I’m basing on the facts during our stay and no reactions. I mean it. A real review. We were here for 6 days so we have the flavor of this property down. Pros: Location. It’s less populated than Daytona proper so we liked it for that. Beach was less populated. Great. Pool & jacuzzi were good and kept clean. The fire pit was a nice touch. The entire property was kept clean. Cons: Room is smaller than the photos give the impression of. Aside from the closet, there’s absolutely no place to hang towels or anything else. We were in a regular room. Place needs updating. Some paint in the rooms would go a long way. The place looks worn out which isn’t the impression the outside gives. Staff is too matter of fact. They’re not very welcoming. No rudeness but they kinda make you feel it matters not if you stayed there or went elsewhere. This may be nitpicking but the palm tree in the middle of the parking lot made parking on the one side of the lot a bit challenging. No reason for it being there. Bottom line is with the amount of accommodations in Ormond, we won’t be back here. For half the daily rate, maybe.

Really enjoyed the easy access to the beach!

The room itself was decent. We didn't care for the sink outside of the bathroom when you are there with other people. Also, we were not told ahead of time that it's $25/nt per pet. It just says pet friendly. So that was an unfortunate surprise. Would probably stay somewhere else next time for those reasons.

The staff were all very nice. Quiet & small location which is what I was looking for.

Very clean, limited parking

Staff was easygoing and flexible with checkout time. They also let us keep using amenities for the rest of the day after check out. A couple of the towels we had inside of the room were a tad bit stained as well as the lamp in the room was stained. Pool was warm, hot tub was great. Overall an amazing stay and I would definitely go back.

I love this place! I've stayed they a few times. Beautiful pool layout and nice area to lounge outside.

The room was very old and small. It was a shoe box. The chair in the room should have been thrown out damaged and worn out. No one observed the rules they smoked everywhere.

Could use some fixing on a few things. Quite a bit of rust, broken furniture etc. Service was great though definitely no complaints there.

I would love to say we had a great stay. The hotel could be a really cute, nice hotel. Cosmetically, some paint, new furniture, and some deep cleaning. Our locks on the door would not lock, had to have it completely changed to a new lock. We were moved 3 times due to air not working, door not locking.. sadly I feel the photos on the website are deceiving. If it would be a little more updated, and cleaned I would stay again.. for the price. Pros were the beach with not at all crowded at this location.

I brought my dog with me. The room I booked smelled really moldy. I switched to a balcony so my dog could sit with me. Front desk was very accommodating. I think $50 a night for a dog is alittle extreme. No smoking in public areas. I know its gross but I'm very curtious when it comes to that. People were drinking BOTTLE beer around the pool. Neighbors below broke glass on their patio. Someone was smoking weed. (IDC) but I got a call about smoking on my patio. Beds were comfy and air worked great.
