Was able to check into our room for an earlier arrival which was fantastic. Was attending a 3pm hockey game so nice to have access to the room before the game. Free self parking and free shuttle service back and forth to Little Ceasars Arena was a great bonus. Now to the frustrating part, we were located beside a room where loud talking and loud music was playing all night. Going in and out of hotel room, letting the door bang. Started at 930pm which I understand is still earlier. Called the front desk at 11:50 pm from our room phone, kept getting putting on 2 min holds for about 15 mins, so had to use my cell phone to call the front desk. Was told that they noise policy does not start until 12am and to call back. 10 mins?? Thankfully just after 12, guests left and music stopped. Went to sleep, but was awoken many times throughout the night by the music playing again. Finally called front desk again at 6am to ask if they could attend the room and access the noise level. Music continued. So unfortunately we did not get back to sleep and started our day. Had high hopes for this property and most of these hopes were met. But unfortunately we got placed beside a room with inconsiderate guests that made our sleeping experience awful.

Bathroom shower had a big clump of hair in it ! They should make sure room is cleaned properly before they leave!!!

Very friendly staff for the most part. Room was clean and the bathroom was very nice and relaxing tub. Around the edges of the room could use a good cleaning notice because that part of my job. I notice a lot others would not but overall nice stay and appreciate the transportation to the concert and back.

Stay was over all good. Some down sides: Main light in hotel room was burned out and needed to use cellphones to find any light switch. Nightstand drawer was broken and the handles had all kind of “stuff” on them. The comforter was stained. If we stay again I would definitely request another room.

Stay had the potential to be awesome. Unfortunately at 10 pm we had to depart as our Daughter became very I’ll.

I guess my expectations were too high. I don’t know what I was expecting but that was it. There were patrons who were blasting music in rooms.

I always look at reviews first before I book and I seen it was 8.5/10. This was a great experience, and I will be coming back.

Front desk workers were rude, noone greeted us when we approached the desk to check in. They acted as though we were invisible, except there were two workers neither of them busy. Neighboring rooms were having a party all night. And I mean, ALL NIGHT shouting and laughing and slamming doors, loud music, etc. There's no way we were the only ones who heard this. But to my knowledge, no visits from hotel staff to quiet them down. I didn't call the front desk bc I had little faith anyone cared. And one person in my room was sleeping and I didn't want to wake her.

Enjoyed our stay. Small beds were our only complaint.

Excellent! Parking Structure attached to building. Free Parking with security cameras. Friendly staff at hotel check-in. Wonderful room and super fast check-in.

Check-in didn't go well. Most of the staff was unfriendly or disinterested. I was expecting a WAY better experience due to the reviews. The hot water in shower and faucet took forever to heat up. It's not a 4 star hotel.

Everyone was nice and friendly who I was able to interact with. We had an emergency situation and they handled it perfectly very caring and professional

We had a good stay. We selected this property due to its proximity to The Masonic Temple. It was an easy walk and staff was helpful in pointing us in the right direction. The room was spacious, comfortable, and laid out well. Nice large towels were much better than the typical hotel towels. Makeup mirror in the bathroom was appreciated also. We didn't use the bathtub, only the shower, but it's a nice deep soaking tub.

the hotel was very clean overall...plenty of associates floating around...lots of security.I didnt visit the casino itself, but the rest of the hotel was great. Fridge in my room wasnt working properly, and the light switch in the bathroom was glitchy...other than that...was a great stay

Went down to the D for a Lion’s game with some buddies. It worked out great and the shuttle to Ford Field was easy and convenient. Free parking was a plus!

Hotel property and services and especially steakhouse 5 star. Only negative is location not walking friendly to anywhere. We stayed 2 nights to run the 1/2 Marathon. The hotel provided shuttle service in the morning to the race start. Fabulous. Shuttle was not easily found or available after the race.

I enjoyed the stay. I won almost 3000.00 and my husband won 1500.00. The rooms were cozy and clean. Most of the staff were helpful. Only encountered One person with major attitude. She must have been having some kind of issue that followed her to work

Love staying here. ALWAYS a great experience. This time was no exception. The icing on the cake was the SUPERIOR service by front desk clerk BRANDI… she defines the ideal staff member. Thank you again Motor City!!

Was staying for a night to catch a hockey game. Hit the casino and won $400. Can’t complain! Hotel was great.

Room was moderately clean, but not great. Hot water didnt work for bathtub.

Had a ball, took a little time as far as help with baggage, but over 4 star everything!

All of the employees we encounter were great and super friendly and knowledgeable! The one amenity we had planned to use, and didn’t realize that motor city no longer had room service. We like to order breakfast and such and not get dressed and ready to eat in the morning. This will be a reason in the future we may stay somewhere else.

Check in was easy. Staff were nice and informative. Room was nice and clean. Beds were small but overall a good stay. Would definitely stay here again.

The people who work here are not so friendly. I understand Detroitans have it rough, but hospitality should be a part of their training since they are in fact in the hospitality industry. They should also double check their towels before folding since both our bathrobe and a towel here and there had lipstick on them. Just gives you a gross feeling. They don’t have very many vegan options. They say they do, but had run out of everything in the restaurant. The exercise facility is nice. The room overall was nice but I was fine most of the day for work and it was nice to come to a comfy bed. You have to request housecleaning as well. It’s not automatic.
