Hotel Villa Franca was the pinnacle of excellence! Excellent hotel management & concierge service which catered to our every request with gracious service & hospitality! The hotel design and rooftop pool were spectacular and sweeping views of Positano from the top! The absolute best!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Small rooms was only thing negative

The entire staff was very helpful and willing to assist in every way from directions, accommodations, services, area and regional information. Dining and service was excellent, as well as the wine and cocktails provided. I would suggest this establishment as one of the top ones in Positano! Pete

This property has the most beautiful views from its rooms and the rooftop pool and bar is amazing. The staffs professionalism is top tier. Only thing to watch out for is this indoor restaurant. The food was not great at all, especially for the price we paid. We had to go to another restaurant afterwards to grab a bite and even ran into other guests from our hotel who also weren’t pleased with the food.

There is not a bad view from this hotel- we had an absolute amazing time: superior service, incredible views, amazing food... this will definitely be a vacation we will never forget and the biggest reason is because we chose to stay at the Hotel Villa Franca. It was expensive but worth every penny and we would stay again in a heart beat. This was not expected but breakfast, mini bar and shuttle via golf cart around was included.

It is a stunning, perfect property overlooking the entirety of Positano. There is nothing not to love! The amenities of the rooftop pool, numerous restaurants, floor-to-ceiling windows in the common areas - the friendliness and professionalism of the staff - it was an 11/10. The secret yet not so secret best part? The golf cart brings you down to the town's main center, saving hours, sweat, and exhaustion. That was a game changer, none of our friends' hotels had that option, and it was our favorite part! The rooms were pristine, the views breathtaking, and the bonus of nightly turn-down service was perfect. The breakfast was enough and kept you full for many hours while exploring. The only negative I found was that the bathroom was dimly lit, making it very difficult to do your makeup. They need to add a makeup mirror and then it'll be the full package! But if that's my only complaint...its nothing.

Bathroom to small. Columns inside the rooms dangerous when you walk abou in the dark or too tall. Driver of the shuttle was very helpful above and beyond

really beautiful hotel but it's at the top of the cliff and not very easy to move around Positano. For the cost of this hotel...the staff could have been more customer oriented.

The views from the room and rooftop were amazing. The staff was very helpful for anything we needed to make our trip memorable. Having private transportation to and from the beach area saved us a lot of walking up and down the steep hills.

Having stayed in many hotels around the world, this has to be one of the nicest in terms of people, location and sheer attention to detail. HVF appears proudly on everything around the hotel and we can see why. Definitely a recommendation from us!

My wife and I had an incredible experience staying at Hotel Villa Franca. We visited/ate lunch at both Hotel Poseidon and Le Sirenuse while in Positano and were so happy we stayed at Hotel Villa Franca instead. The hotel feels recently renovated and the hotel staff is top notch. Our favorite parts of the hotel and why I would select it over other hotels are 1) the rooftop pool/restaurant and 2) breakfast. The hotel is located towards the top of the city so the views from the pool deck/rooftop bar are incredible. We enjoyed swimming or grabbing a drink while taking in the views from the rooftop after a long day of walking all the steps/alleys in Positano. This is one of the few Positano hotels where the pool is on the rooftop so you get a full 360 view of the city. Also, the breakfast was a great experience to start each day and we did not have huge expectations when we booked. The breakfast tables are along a balcony overlooking the city and beach. As soon as you sit down, a few servers place like 7 small plates of food on your table without requesting. They bring out a meat & cheese plate, a slice of quiche, a bowl of fresh fruit, a plate with several fresh croissants/danishes and even a small chocolate cake. This is even before you get to select other foods from the breakfast menu that also are free of charge. The hotel has an on site chef so everything is cooked fresh and it feels like they try to come up with unique recipes.

The staff were attentive at all times and willing to assist you and every stage of your stay. The breakfast offered was fit for a king. We walked into a lovely bottle of chilled Prosecco and a lovely cake for our wedding anniversary stay! Just BEAUTIFUL!!

Loved this hotel and everything about it. I would have to say one of the best hotels I have stayed at and the experience is something I will never forget. The staff is very professional, kind, and helpful. We arrived at the hotel at 10 am and check in was not until 4 pm. They saw how tired we were from a long flight and gave us a bigger room that was available so we would go to sleep. I thank them for this because not many hotels would do that. The vibe of the hotel is also very nice, fresh, and contemporary. Nothing like anything else in Positano.

The staff was nice and professional. The place has more of a Hollywood vibe than authentic Italy. The informs that the staff has to wear is ridiculous. It is ultra modern which doesn’t go with the atmosphere of the town.

Hotel is beautiful but the service was not good. Disappointing for a 5 star hotel. Personally, I would rather have good service rather than a “hipster “ vibe!

Hotel was fantastic. The concierge service was above and beyond. Rooms were very clean, well maintained. The shuttle service made every part of our stay easy.
