Beautiful estate-like hotel with quaint reception rooms. Hotel room was nice with view of front lawn. Staff were very friendly and provided an excellent recommendation for dinner nearby.

Great 4 day stay and a good base for exploring. Very helpful staff and excellent friendly Italian hotel. Would thoroughly recommend. Essential to have a car.

Hotel in a beautiful garden. A lovely country villa. Hotel has a lift and is air conditioned. Staff were friendly and helpful. We stayed one night in order to visit Lucca. We would have liked to have stayed longer. Room was quiet but a bit small however there are rooms downstairs where one may sit. We enjoyed a meal in the adjoining restaurant. We also enjoyed breakfast.

Air can be set individually, but 21 never happened! 24, maybe. Nice rooms, but ask for a 1st floor room. Wed would do it again. Close enough to Lucca, Volterra and Pisa. Almost a park setting. Dinner out of doors was lovely. Cooler than the room!

At only 5 minutes away from Lucca and 20 some from Pisa, this hotel is quietly located and offers excellent services and installations to the area travellers.

This hotel was a little challenging to find on the google maps GPS, but once I got there it was quiet and off the road. The wifi was okay, but breakfast was better. Its so close to Lucca that Id likely stay closer to the city next time.

Very nice stay on new years eve

I would say this is an average hotel. The landscaping around it is nice but the manager was pretty rude. He actually made me regret staying there at all. But the front desk guy who worked overnight was nice and accommodating at least. On another note, we forgot our passports in our room and no one at the hotel made an effort to call us to let us know they were there. I realize it is not their job to make sure we didnt leave anything behind but I was pretty disappointed that no one there made that extra effort since we all know how important passports are especially for travel and identity theft. By the time we realized the passports were left behind we were 350km away and had to turn around and go back. Personally if I was working somewhere like that I would have called the phone number on the reservation and let them know their passports were left behind. So again, this would be an average hotel that has a rude manager (the rude manager has nothing to do with the passport situation just to clarify).

This was the second time we have stayed here. We enjoyed it so much last year that we repeated the experience, but we found it a bit disappointing. Our room this year was very small and narrow, and I think the pillow, which was like a lumpy brick, was the most uncomfortable I have ever slept on. Also, I think it is a shame that there are no rooms with bath, only shower. However the service is good and friendly and on the whole, I would recommend it to others for an overnight stay.

Charming comfortable hotel, excellent helpful staff, exceptional breakfast (for a small hotel). Would recommend it to anyone.
