Overall, very good value for money. Very clean. Room was at the back. Window had a second sliding inner window which kept out the traffic noise, so it was quiet despite being by a road. Water temperature a little unpredictable, but I was able to finish my shower. There's small elevator, but some rooms require going up and down extra steps to get to them, so if mobility is an issue it's worth checking first. Great location, just a short walk to the pier and on the road behind the hotel there's a convinience store, a laundrette (but this is closed on Sundays), take-aways and there are restruants nearby too. Town centre is within walking distance too.

The good: Great value for money, clean room, daily housekeeping (if you keep the tag on the door handle), friendly receptionists, tea/coffee and kettle in room, clean room and nice decor in the hallways.
Particularly liked the heated mirror in the bathroom, although the integrated light was a bit dim (but maybe it’s meant to be a nightlight?).
Parking vouchers are available from the reception for £2.20 which will last you till 11am the following day (I.e. you’re covered till checkout the following day.
Great location for walks along the beach or Eastbourne Pier. Lots of restaurants nearby and the high street is just a 15 minute walk.
Could be improved:
- They should have some coat hooks or a stand in the room. We had to keep our wet coats on the chair which probably isn’t great for their furniture either
- Washrooms have separate hot and cold taps which was annoying to use (especially in the shower)
- Would be nice to have a lamp near the mirror

The staff were very helpful and pleasant. The cleanliness excellent.
However, the walls were paper thin and we were kept awake until 3:30am because of the unacceptable, antisocial behaviour of other people in the hotel, crashing and banging around, speaking loudly, running a bath (?) and their extractor fan sounded like it was in our room, and generally destroying any chance of sleep. The night porter was very kind and helpful and went to speak to the offenders but I was so infuriated that it took me ages to go to sleep, bearing in mind I had a long drive home today with inadequate sleep. Unfortunately, due to this, we won’t be returning.

Nice budget hotel. Right on the seafront. Rooms a little small but ok for a weekend. Staff were freindly. I would stay again.

We chose this hotel based on the reviews but felt it was a complete let down. The double bed was small and uncomfortable. The cold tap at the sink wasn’t working properly. Service at the front desk was alright but not excellent like how others had reviewed it. My partner was utterly disappointed by the state of the room.

room was ok at the back of hotel a bit tight but was very clean downside small double bed could do larger one ie king also tv was the smallest I've seen in a room with very bright colours needs a bigger one and set up properly. the room was adequate for a 2 night stay as wasn't in it much
parking was good managed to get outside for £2.20 24hrs with card from reception

I was staying at the hotel as a single traveller to take part in a triathlon early the next morning. The room was small but had a decent shower and the bed was okay.
It had a kettle and TV too. The room was quiet as it wasnt facing the sea.
As i arrived mid day Saturday parking was a pain. I paid for 2 parking tickets to display, only £2.20 each but that was for 24 hours. I ended up paying for a carpark for most of the day until most of the day trippers had left and then i found a space to park.

This was a single room which suited me as a solo traveller.
It was perfectely decorated the bathroom was up-to-date. Bed was comfortable. Tea/coffee/ milk etc was sufficient. The room was secure and while the room as at the back of the hotel it suited me as it was quier overnight. Even with the window slightly open. Check in/Check oit times ideal.

It would have been convenient to be able to have a sandwich or some bar food other than having to go outside. Otherwise v good and would stay again and staff very helpful.

Had the cheapest room - small, basic, clean, quiet. Great location, the receptionists were all very friendly, were eager to help and smiling. Would highly recommend if you are looking for a budget stay right by the beach.

Some rather unfair reviews on here. Our room was nice and clean, albeit small. Car parking at only £2 with a hotel permit on the seafront was a real bonus. Breakfast rather pricey, when you consider the several options in proximity. A great pub- the Crown and Anchor - just over the road. Will return the next time I have a reason to overnight in Eastbourne.

Stayed for two nights, hotel was clean and room was comfortable, staff on reception seemed nice and friendly, breakfast was ok had full English with coffee and orange juice, hotel seemed to lack any amosphere but I guess it was the middle of march
