Spacious rooms, kitchen. Was very comfortable.

Overall the stay was great. Clean and safe. Disappointed that it took two days (half the trip) to get a replacement toaster only to have them give us another broken one. Not the end of the world but considering the price we paid for this place it should have been a simple fix.

Overall a really great property. We stayed three nights. It was a good spacious room but right next to the Gondola so it was noisy while it was in operation. Also, I hadn’t realized that they do not clean the rooms each night. Our room was not cleaned or refreshed for the 3 nights we were there. As a family of 5 I would have liked a refresh and some new towels. The room itself was fantastic. Very spacious with full kitchen and washer/dryer. Northstar itself is great. We loved mountain biking and the little village is nice with a good coffee shop called CoffeeBar. Service at the Hyatt was very basic. There are no restaurants on site and dining around the immediate area is limited (unless you want to dine at the Ritz close by). We had a fantastic stay. I wouod have given it 5 stara for our overall experience, but as a mom on vacation I would have loved to come back each day to a refreshed room.

The front office staff was wonderful! I think the lady's name was "Fredlee", and she was so kind! The room was nice with comfortable beds and a wonderful deep tub that I was able to take a bubble bath in. I'm over six foot tall, so that was a wonderful surprise to have such a big tub! The fireplace was a disappointment, though. It was such a small gas flame. The view from the room had some trees but also staring at a big parking lot. That's why we didn't use the balcony. It was nice to be close to the Villa, but everything was really expensive. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Village is empty in summer, no reason to stay here. Front desk Service people very unfriendly.

Serene and well-kept property

It was disappointing that most of the stores and restaurants weren’t open. We were there Monday-Thursday. When we asked staff, they mentioned about it being off season and catering to the mountain biking. Regardless, they should have been open. Perhaps better marketing for people to come there in the summertime. Also, the pool area appeared to have a wasp problem. My husband got the net to clean the pool, while the towel guy sat there. A child got stung. Please consider spraying. Thanks!

Pleasantly surprised with how well this property was developed and how it’s maintained. We booked another stay while on this trip for next summer. Highly recommend!

Two bedroom condo worked well for family, full kitchen and washer & dryer are always a plus. Staff was courteous and helpful, grounds were easy to navigate and clean.

The staff there are all really nice and helpful. We only stayed one night but we made the best of it♡ we got in the pool then in the jacuzzi. Walked around the shops and had breakfast at a little market place. It was very nice! Well go back for sure!

We rented the 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom for 3 adults and 1 child. The place was perfect. We had plenty of room to spread out, have dinner, do laundry, just like home. It was the perfect location in the trees away from the busyness of Tahoe. We would recommend and stay here again and again.

My husband and I were in the midst of an incredible road trip through the Pacific NW and this was by far the most disappointing stay. After check in and being on the road several hours we had anticipated a power nap. However, the room next to us had extremely unruly children, running and screaming, pounding walls, etc. We were hopeful it was an isolated outburst but unfortunately, that was not the case. I called the front desk and was told by Juana that their noise enforcement was only upheld from late evening to early morning and suggested that I call the SHERIFF for resolution. I assured her that I did not want to call the sheriff on the family next door and asked her to politely call them to make them aware of the disturbance and that we were hoping to rest for a bit after our long travel. We heard her call the next room and the call was not answered. The noise continued on. We went back to front desk to request a new room. Juana was combative and rude, again suggested we call the Sheriff, when asked why they did not address the family by going to the room and assessing the noise level for themselves Juana replied “we don’t want to bother our guests”, she then offered us another room that was a downgrade and threatened a cleaning fee due to our being in the initial room for 30 mins. Appalling! We are paying guests as well and deserved to enjoy our stay. Juana was cold from the moment I walked thru the door. This is not someone that should b n cust srv! Hyatt do better!!!

Great location, great staff, great for families. We booked a suite for a quick trip to Northstar. We drove a high roof van and while it won’t fit in their underground parking we could park in the lot directly behind the property.

I didn't like thatere was no dining area or bar available on the property after traveling all day to get there.

We booked 2-2 bedroom suites that were nicely appointed and clean.

It's perfect gateway for families but it's not not kept up to date. The furniture and appliances are old and dirty.

Spacious and well equipped 3 bed, 3 bath. Loved the cozy fireplace both inside and on the patio. Tv was difficult to operate and without instructions. Kitchen was nicely equipped. Grounds were in some disrepair and hot tub we were directed to was very dirty and full of debris. Main pool hot tub was great though. Love the convenience of the village.

I had to book last minute- they staff was fantastic and greeted me warmly.
