We had a great stay at the ibis as always. The location in Merida is central to shopping and restaurants.

This is more like a business hotel, but it doesn't have a pool, well, not even a partner in Progreso in case you want to go to the beach, I was willing to pay

Absolutely love Ibis hotels. They are inexpensive but clean and modern! Free water to refill. Will always stay here on a budget. The bathroom was a bit tiny and the bathroom water spilled out thats my only drawback.

One of the elevator is not working.

They have dinner and beer downstairs. Super convenient. And they have breakfast in the morning if you pay for it. You need to fix the elevator though on the other side. Too slow, or too much of a wait to get to my room

It is extremely well located in Mérida. Very close to many intersting places, booth for business and pleasure.

Extremely boring property with no vibes ! Room are very basic with no decor and characters! They always vacuum the lobby at breakfast time so it was pretty annoying when you wanted to relax !
They use cleaning supplies that smell terrible when you come in !

Great place to stay in Merida, we moved to nearby Hyatt after our stay in Ibis and immediately regrated it.

This is a really well-managed hotel. The staff are universally courteous and helpful. No one working there had to look up from their phone when I approached them. The interior was immaculate. They vacuumed the hallways two or three times a day. It's on Calle 60, which is just under a mile from the center of the historic district and walkable when it's cool. I love this place.

The value for the money was excellent. Breakfast was surprisingly good, offering a wide array of Mexican options and fresh fruit. I lost a hat, we were pleased that when we returned in the evening, the staff was holding it at the desk for me. all in all an excellent value.

Room was super tiny for a family of 4 we couldn’t fit our luggage open. Service was ok, when we arrived, there were only 2 towels, when we asked for 2 more for the kids, girl at the front desk told us we had to go down to reception to get them because they didn’t have room service. Not what you would expect at a hotel, they should have at least one person to fix issues like this, because it was their bad not to have room ready for us. We Didn’t feel welcome. The location is great but that’s about it.

NOT GOOD --- only 1 English TV channel that repeated the same 2 documentaries over and over for our 2 day stay. Also too far from downtown . No swimming pool .

We paid for 3 rooms “double bed” and they give us a single bed , when we back to the front desk and ask for a change they said ni because that is we rent .

Staff do not speak English. Friendly towards locals but not as much for Foreigners.
No designated smoking area, ash trays or sitting arrangements for smokers. No toiletries provided. The bed is prone to cause back pain
