The lights from the apartments shine through the glass tiles. Didn’t sleep well. Apartments were lovely in a great position. Perhaps supply a piece of cardboard to block out the light.

I stayed at Pier 21 Apartment Hotel in 2020 and had a very positive experience. This year, when I returned to Fremantle, I didn't even consider searching for another hotel; Pier 21 was my first choice. Upon booking, I inquired about securing a room with a water view. I was informed that it would cost an additional $35 per night to guarantee a Swan River View. I understand that premium features come at a price, so this was acceptable to me. However, my recent visit highlighted some areas for improvement. Upon arrival, the receptionist asked if I wanted to upgrade to the water view room, and I declined. Her response, "some people just want things for free," made me feel quite uncomfortable. In my experience, it's not uncommon for hotels to offer complimentary upgrades if rooms are available, so I didn't think it was unreasonable to ask. I believe a more positive and customer-friendly approach could enhance the guest experience. Additionally, the room facilities appeared outdated and in need of renovation, which was surprising given the high price. The room we stayed in was dark, which detracted from the overall ambiance. The mattress protector was torn, and the overall condition of the furniture and amenities felt worn and old. Updating these aspects could significantly enhance the comfort and satisfaction of your guests

Nice and easy with a good vibe

The experience was so great that I was feeling like being home. Friendly staff, fantastic view, comfortable bed.

Area is beautiful but I stayed on the ground floor and I noticed first thing in the morning was noisy as people walking along the path talking and laughing was annoying, other than that beautiful place and spot to stay

Was informed they didn’t have lactose free milk in the dining area so I had some delivered by Uber Eats. When I attended breakfast, I found on the menu they did have lactose free milk available.

Easy access to biking trails around Fremantle.

I had a ground floor apartment with Riverview. It was beautiful looking out over the marina. Such friendly staff and secure parking. I was travelling alone and felt very safe. The surrounding area was very nice, especially the little beach. Highly recommend.

The vibe from being on the water made me feel like I was on holidays. The breakfast was amazing as well, overall a terrific place to stay.

The staff are very polite and helpful. Room cleaned every day was excellent. Fresh towels everyday. However, the floors need a really good wash. After walking around on the floors for 30 minutes the soles of your feet are black with dirt. You need to wash your feet before going to bed so as not to dirty bed sheets. The room was clean , just not the floors.

Very impressed by the facilities for a small hotel. Brekky was fantastic and great value. Loved the water front jetty views.

A very pleasant surprise. We stayed as guests of a wedding nearby and this property was perfect. Loved the location on the water and being so close to where we needed to be. Interesting to find it is dog friendly, so would love to come back with our pooch, she'd love it too!

The property was amazing, had a room that backed onto the pool, very quiet overnight.. Our cooked breakfast was delicious.

Staff were fantastic. Location is perfect. You can easily walk to the beach or river. Rooms were spacious and quite.

Lovely place

Our riverview king suite was great-large,clean,with great view of the water & the boats. Check-in was easy,free parking,and nice (but small) indoor heated pool & spa which wasn’t busy. Beautiful quiet area only a short drive into the city. The only issue we had was a bit of noise at night from the balcony above & in the morning from people walking past as the bedroom is very close to walking path.

Had a very enjoyable stay on the 3rd floor with a stunning river view and view of the old North Fremantle football ground great balcony and screen door to let the awesome breeze in lovely kitchenette with nice stainless fridge/freezer plenty of room to move nice dining area great lounge with TV and decent bathroom adjoining both master bedroom and double single room. The indoor pool was great,excellent spa and a very pleasant breakfast room on 1st floor! A hidden gem that is quiet and comfortable and I will definitely be going out of my way to stay at this really great and secure venue more now!
