Sisters Claudia and Sabrina and their attentive staff were excellent. The rooms had amazing views, the swimming off the rocks was into pristine waters, and the rooms were comfortable and stylish. What made us change plans and stay two more days was the friendly staff and the sumptuous, homemade breakfasts with savory and sweet delicacies made by Claudia. I am a swimmer and went down the coast a half kilometer or so and felt safe. The Ionian Sea was crystal clear and stunning. We attended “Medea” in the ancient theater and it was great too. An all around wonderful time!

We had a lovely stay and the staff is just amazing, thank you so much for your hospitality. Ortigia is just a short drive away and the view from the balcony / breakfast area was breathtaking, plus amazing cakes and the best scrambled eggs we had for ages. Wonderful place where you will wake up everyday to a glorious sunrise over the sea lapping below you, and a gorgeous breakfast on the terrace. Team at Giuggiulena are friendly, calm and very happy to help you have a wonderful visit to Sicily. Property is simple but has all you need and nice extras like beautifully fragranced rooms and toiletries. While it is a ~20 mins walk to main tourist spot, I recommend staying here because you get the location right on the sea and is less congested. There are many taxi companies that use WhatsApp if you need lifts but the walk is easy and safe from our experience doing it many times day and night. Enjoy.

Our stay at Villa Giuggiulena was amazing! Loved every moment of it. Delicious breakfast with freshly made pastries, quiet location with easy parking, short walking distance from Ortigia... Claudia and Sabrina were so welcoming! Hope to go back and stay there again!

The B&B is directly beside the sea and have unforgettable views from the room. The breakfast area also have panoramic windows that elevates the whole breakfast experience with an incredible landscape of Syracuse and the sea. We received the kindest hospitality from Sabrina who took care of us, giving us great recommendations about the area, maps, directions and parking tips we could not have known without her help. We left a jacket behind before we left and Sabrina contacted the shop we were visiting to alert us, and we were able to circle back and pick it up later. I hope that I can be back in the future!

The villa was magical in its setting on the sea. The views were simply spectacular from any angle. Sabrina, Claudia & Mamadu could not have been more accommodating or friendly. We were truly made to feel at home. While not in the centre of Siracusa, getting around was easy to master. The delicious breakfast was plentiful and carefully prepared. We look forward to a return visit given our positive experience.

We had an amazing time at Giuggiulena! Even before we came we noticed how much the staff wanted our stay to be amazing when they helped us with arranging transfer from the airport and meeting us late at night since we had a late flight. The rooms are big and well maintained, the views from the balcony is amazing!! The breakfast left nothing to be wanted and the warm greetings every morning from the staff bringing us the best morning coffe everyday! The owners really made us feel at home helping us make plans for our days in the city center of ortiga and where to go for late night snacks and drinks! We would deifinatly stay here again!

Giuggiulena has basically everything I want from a holiday experience. The service is one of a kind. Sabrina and Mamadou really couldn’t do more to make guests feel welcome and taken care of. The personal touch was in everything from we arrived until we left, with a sandwich to go for our early bus transfer to Palermo. Need help with booking anything, adjust parasols, have a sun bed set up on the cliffs? They provide it. With a smile and a laugh. The housekeeping was perfect. The time she took to make everything flawless in our room, bathroom and our private terrace, was something you don’t necessarily experience on 5-star hotels. The hotel itself is beautiful, with large windows overlooking cliffs and the sea. It only have a few rooms (nine?), so it’s never crowded our noisy. It is a 15-minute walk from the centre of Siracusa. In addition to the opportunity to enjoy sun and swimming from a sun bed on the cliffs, they also offer a roof-top terrace, which we had to ourselves most of our 5-nights stay. Beach towels are provided for free. Giuggiulena will be my first choice for accommodation next time I go to Sicily.

No words can describe this property. Beautiful, right by the sea, they have used best quality - whether it is furnishing or bedding or anything that is there in the facility. I would describe this property as a 5 star boutique hotel rather than a B&B place. Utmost care and friendly owners and staff. Best experience - they made our holiday a memorable one. Awesome hospitality.

Clean & bright, lovely setting virtually on the sea. Peaceful sound of the waves lapping on the rocks at night. Breakfast on the balcony was really lovely. The rooftop terrace was excellent. Sabrina, Claudia & Mahmoud we’re so friendly & helpful. Sabrina provided a free taxi service, such a nice kind person.

Sabrina and her staff were excellent. Rooms were clean and comfortable. You are literally hanging over the ocean with such a dramatic view. Breakfast is very good. The area that the hotel is in is a 15-20min walk from town and is somewhat rundown and in need of repair. However, the actual property is very comfortable.

Our hosts Where especially helpful in planning our time as well as hosting us. From the fabulous breakfast to the immaculate rooms we felt we left as friends. I would highly highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an authentic experience of Sicilian hospitality

The hotel and room were beautiful, overlooking the sea . The bed and room were exceptionally comfortable and clean and the hostess and staff friendly and helpful. She even helped me set up a guided tour to Noto at the last minute, and gave great directions to the achieological highlights in the area, with map. The breakfast was appreciated. The only negative is the road it is on is not great for walking, but fortunately only about 1km to a superb bike/pedestrian only path of 6km along the sea. In the other direction 1-2km to town/Ortiega. It was worth the walk for us to be out of the super busy town area.

Most amazing host and staff.Made us feel at home and helped to get around the most important sights.Comfy rooms nicely decorated with Sicilian flavour. Ortiga within walking distance.Very good breakfast where everything is freshly home made by the hosts.What a treat!And then there’s the view! Sea view rooms are a must, but there’s also nice balcony and roof terrace. Floor -3 rooms are pretty much in the sea! Fantastic.

This place is a true gem. The hostesses make you feel very welcome and provide you with detailed information about the city. The B&B is situated right next to the sea. Our room was comfortable and we had our own private terrace with two large sofas.
