Excellent location and it’s right on the beach. The stuff is very friendly and helpful. The property should be upgraded a little bit, but overall our family is very happy with the experience

The property is very dated and the location is not centrally located. It’s at the end of the strip and marina to all the ferries is on the complete opposite end. Staff at checkout were extremely rude and at one point I asked the lady to stop yelling at me. Not sure why this hotel is so highly rated ir even a 4-star. Won’t ever go back to this property, there are other nicer looking hotels centrally located.

Awesome experience and very friendly staff

Hubby and I spent 4 nights in this great hotel for our 30th anniversary. We arrived early on check in day and the room was not ready. They gave suggestions on having a bite to eat and held our luggage for us. Upon our return, we were ecstatic to find out they upgraded our room! Such a great surprise! I'm sorry I didn't get the names of the ladies that assisted us at check in, but they were fantastic and the upgrade was so appreciated. Margarita was extremely helpful and so very sweet at the front desk. We returned from our celebratory dinner to find a bottle of Prosecco in our room, Above and beyond! Their breakfast buffet is terrific. Salami, procucitto and many cheese options. All the yummy bakery treats, yogurts, waffels, eggs, tomatoes, fresh fruit, fresh juices, espresso and assorted coffees. Everyone from front desk to breakfast attendants to cleaning people, were all so nice and helpful! When you get off the ferry, walk ALL the way down the main street (that follows the water), Splendid Hotel is the very last hotel, with a great extended balcony in front, about a 15 minute walk. We Would HIGHLY recommend this hotel!!

The room with sea view and balcony was stunning, refurbished, lovely colour scheme and extremely clean. Room was cleaned daily with fresh towels. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Perfect location at the end of the main promenade, handy for the bus along the Amalfi coast.

Beautiful - balcony, lovely spacious old world bathroom, small room but big enough for us. Breakfast with local pastries were delicious! The eggs … not so much but everything else including made on request coffees were perfection! Steps to the beach, on the quiet and affordable end of the promenade. Would stay there again!

The hotel is clean, staff is friendly. Breakfast buffet is not good. The actual area of Maiori was a little disappointing. We had spent a few days in Sorrento and LOVED it. We had picked Sorrento b/c Positano was too pricey. It was the best decision. Sorrento is GORGEOUS and we were still able to day trip to Positano. That was our same idea with picking Maiori. Hotels in Amalfi were over our budget, so it was suggested to stay in Maiori. The area is a little run down and doesn’t give the Amalfi vibes we were going for. If you’re using this hotel to just sleep and shower, then it’s fine. But otherwise I’d try to stay in another area for a better vacation vibe.

We had a great stay, the staff was amazing, and the location was great. Right in front of the beach.

The hotel was very nice, Wi-Fi did not work most of the time, there was 200 tv channels and not one was in English and there was no chairs setup at the beach area.

Perfect location. All of the staff were excellent. They went above and beyond. We needed to leave very early the last day so we missed breakfast, so they had a great little breakfast packed in to go bags.

Awesome stay. Staff were attentive to all our needs. Even packed us a take away breakfast when we had to leave early for our transport to the airport. Would highly recommend and stay here again. Maiori is definitely the place to be on the Amalfi coast

Staff was amazing and helpful in every way. Nikola and Margarita are the best! They helped us with our room, restaurants, moving around to the best sites and everything local. Couldn’t recommend this place enough.

Breakfast was a nice surprise every morning, beach was fantastic, Nicola at the front desk is a true asset, parking was a plus! Well done . Beds are an opportunity

Worst hotel ever. Overpriced for a hotel that serves only a view.

We had a good experience, however I don’t think I would stay here again for the simple fact that the beds feel like you are sleeping on concrete! We didn’t sleep well the entire time unfortunately.

The staff was very nice and helpful. The rooms were very clean. I would like to mention Andreina, Nicola from the reception desk and Sofia, our breakfast server who always smiled and made our breakfast special. The cleaning staff was very nice as well, but i don't know any names. We would like to return for sure.
