Best hotel in Vienna

Nice hotel with unique rooftop bar in a good location down town. Breakfast is with a lot of variety. Rooms are getting old and beds are used a lot so less comfortable than you would expect.

We had an excellent stay, drinks and food expensive but we had the breakfast and as it was eat as much as you can, the range was extensive didn't have lunch. Went out at night. Enjoyed the Taylor Swift hotel party first night which as resident we got in free, quite an unexpected experience.

SO/Vienna is wonderful! The staff is so helpful and kind, the rooms are spacious, clean and the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in at a hotel! The in room coffee maker also makes the absolute best cup of hotel room coffee ever! Would highly recommend and will absolutely stay there again!

Amazing service from every member of staff we dealt with. Maria on reception was especially awesome. Allention to detail was outstanding. Definitely 5*!

The room was fairly worn down and there were scratches and marks on the walls and panels. The breakfast was adequate but a bit boring, and there was often a long wait to be served the hot dishes that weren't part of the buffet. In general, the service was at an acceptable level, but not great considering it is a 5-star hotel. For instance, we were never greeted by the staff when entering the hotel - not even the lady who checked us in. This obviously isn't a big deal, but it was just a symptom of a general feeling that the staff were a bit tired of the guests. Whereas other hotels would provide a service that would want you to return, it seemed like they just did the bare minimum, as they know that they have an endless pool of American and Chinese turists to tap out of.

If you pay 250 dollars a night for a hotel, that hotel should definitely include at least breakfast in the morning, free parking, and if it is not written that you should not enter the room door, it should be entered and cleaned daily. The location was good, the restaurant & bar on the top floor was good. 10/6

Beside poor mattresses and pillows the hotel was excellent and service was good. The hotel is not very close to the most tourist attractions ( it's approximately 1.7 km, 22 min walk).

Terrible experience int his hotel. As guest you get booked in rooms that are fully snappy. All in whit colours and so you see every scratch. The house ventilation is running all day and night. So a permanent noise is present. It has a nice rooftop restaurant. But it’s one big hall including a bar as well. Very loud and disturbing music and flooded by external people. Not comfortable at all. On top of this the chilled area you have as well but then you are forced to take a menue. Just something small you are not allowed to consume. This is very bad and not guest minded at all. Can not recommend this hotel as there are better options nearby. Hotel management isn’t taking care of their customers wishes. No customer minded approaches even on request (the offered option by the restaurant manger was unacceptable at all. Seems profit is what counts. Not again.

Had a great stay, room was amazing, views also. Rooftop bar is top-notch. Most of all - service was great, everything we needed and more, and un umbrella when we needed.
