Elevator not working, no bell desk services.

The resort is fun and casino full of old folks.
Limited food options but a new steakhouse opening. There are restuarants in walking distance. BUFFET open on the weekends. Building is very nice, suites are large and comfy.

Room was nice, had a very strong cleaner smell to it that was hard to get used to and the window could not be opened. Asked for a fan but it took multiple asks and 2 days to get one, fan worked and made the smell more tolerable.
Staff was very friendly, the food was good at the two restaurants we tried and the spa staff was great.
Overall it was a nice stay.

The River Rock is a great hotel and has a casino. Restaurants are good and highly recommend the buffet. Definitely plan to return on my next trip to Vancouver.

We didn't like the fire alarm being pulled at 10:30 pm and again at 4:00 am. Especially since we had just flown in from California. Made for a very long day. Both were attended by Richmond FireDepartment and deemed False alarms. The alarm boxes were being pulled by the junkies in the parkade parking and near the emergency exit stairwells. While we were exiting through the stairwells we could see and smell the drugs being consumed as well as the needles and drugs all through. We asked that our resort fee be reimbursed for that evening since we barely had any sleep but were denied at check out. Do better River rock Hotel, do better.

Room was outdated and unfortunately not cleaned very well.
We enjoyed breakfast at The Buffet/Restaurant each morning. Food was very good!

It was a great stay. The staff was so nice and welcoming. There was always someone available if anything was needed. The pool and hot tub were fantastic including all the other amenities the hotel has to offer.

I have stayed there many times but this time we had some issues. First of all the shower water was luke warm and our room seemed weathered and old. Pain coming off in places and a water stain on the ceiling. First time I have ever experienced that. We were in the hotel section not the main resort building. Maybe time for some renovations.

The niggly points: We arrived very late with lots of baggage and it was a bit of a journey to cross the road, climb the steps and find the elevator. Would have been nice to have a wider selection in the soda vending machines next to the ice - no tonic water for her majesties gin. Small points - and very much first world problem!
The pluses: The room was great, beds very comfortable, quiet and an excellent price point for the quality. Its a top-notch place when you need a VYR layover. All staff we encountered were very helpful. We will certainly be back (with a bottle of tonic in our suitcase next time).

Microwave costs $25 per night. No bath tub. Shower doors and drain don’t work well.

The room was clean, comfortable and staff was very friendly. Several restaurants on site, pool, casino and the sky train is right there with a mall one stop away. The price was great for the quality of hotel. My only complaint is that the parking is about a 7-10 min walk because we were staying in the standard room building which is across the street from the casino building. I would recommend and would stay again.

Mixed reviews. Check in took far too long as apparently a policy here that guest’s charge cards have an extra $500 put on until after check out. Guest in front of us checking in didn’t have that available on her card so there was an endless back & forth that was awkward to hear & delayed us as took ages for a 2nd clerk to finally open up when clear the other guest was going to be even longer.
Room cleanliness so-so as long hairs on bathroom floor & my wife & I have short hair so not ours. Glad we got a great deal via Hotels.com or would have been hugely disappointed. Nice for free parking & casino nearby a plus, as is pool & hot tub.

The worst experience I’ve ever had. Very bad customer service. Fire drill went off around 4:50am in the morning, hotel didn’t make clear announcement, after the alarm was cleared, we realized we locked ourselves out and elevators got shutdown we called the front desk they wanted us to take the emergency stairway down to the lobby to get our keys

very convenient for YVR and shopping in Richmond Malls. Shame the Curve lounge has gone but the Burger was really good ant the foid area in the casino

Lovely accommodation , location quite a way down hall from elevator , so not disturbed by doors and noises , we really appreciate that !

Great for a overnight stay before catching a flight the next morning. Great food at Chopsticks Noodlehouse. However time for some renovations and upgrades. Fitness center 3 machines out of order TV's don't work. The cardio equipment is very old. A lot ofpeople who like to work out please spend some money in this area. Also a nice touch in the rooms would be slippers. Over all not bad

It was ok, we stayed in the tower across the street, top floor furthest room away so it was a big haul from the checkin area. Reception desk is too small for the occupancy volume and the staff couldn’t understand what we were saying, which made it tricky to checkin.
