We arrived late night and there was some booking trouble in my colleague. However, the hotel staff tried to check the problems and finally succeded to solve the problem. It took some time but staff behaviors are very kind and polite. I stayed nice time in Kassel.

Great location but furnishings very shabby and not much hot water

We had payed for 2 adults and a child at 10 years old. There was no bed for the child and the receptionist said that the child could sleep in the bed with us. She said that it was Hotels.com that made and mistake and not the hotel- it was a vary bad experience

the price of the accomondation is too expensive to meet the service quality. They don't even provide luggage storage service.

Area outside of the property looks super sketchy and run down but ill say its normal since the main train station is a short walk away and theres tons of foot traffic. This place has free parking which is obviously great! Here are some of the not so great things: the building faces the sun so it was super hot in our room, the AC unit does not do the bare minimum so we had to open up the window which if you're ok with outside noises you'll be good otherwise you'll have an uncomfortable night. The police station is right next door so be prepared for random loud sirens throughout the night (extra loud if the window is opened). The shades in the room are not the widest so don't expect a super dark room, it was super hard falling asleep since there was still tons of light out. The amenities are also not the greatest, they had a vending machine but it was out of order which sucked because the drinks at reception were more expensive. I dont think I would come back to stay here again.

Stayed on Easter, there were several cafes, and restaurants open within walking distance.

We stayed in the hotel two nights, the second time, in a few years. The room was very comfortable and large (we had the suite). The hotel is centrally located, right next to the central station and within walking distance from the center. There is free parking nearby. The price relative to the room we received was excellent.

We stayed overnight as a stop in a family road trip. The hotel was quite ok for this purpose. Clean and comfortable enough.

It has a spa and sauna. It also had a small safe for personal use. Unfortunately, my boyfriend and I are heat sensitive, and the AC on max provided little relief.

Room wasn’t cleaned; garbage bin was still full from previous guests and one of the bath towels had a massive hair ball attached to it. When we informed the front desk, we got a halfhearted „oh, that is bad“ and we were sent off. No real apology, no „can we help/do something for you“, nothing!

Nice staff & nice room

A very nice hotel right in the middle of Kassel. We were met by friendly staff and we found the hotel very comfortabel. It is easy to reach both by car (huge parking) and by train (just across the street). Unfortunatly we were unable to try the sauna, but it was available all day and night.

Hotel was OK, but the service was not good. Rude and unpolite.. If YouTube disagree with your guest you can do so politely.

Property is nice inside and clean. Area around hotel is kind of random and sketchy people around the main train station.

It was nice and clean...and the staffs are very kind of course... The area hotel is situated is little bit old, so environment around hotel is not quiet good, but except that, all thins good copare with the prices...

Had a really night one night stay at Grand Tulip. Rooms are clean, bed is large and very comfortable, bathroom is nice. I used the small gym facility downstairs and the sauna, which were so nice! Located directly off the Kassel Hbf, one minute walk which was really convenient since I arrived late in the evening. The front desk staff helped me find my bus transportation to my next location after I checked out and printed out directions, very helpful. Great experience overall and would stay there again.

Small hotel but clean and easy going. Stall very nice and warm welcoming.

Close to down town area, near everything. You can basically walk to any attraction and restaurants in the area.

Everything was top notch for the low price. However the neighborhood was not in an area where there were nice restaurants that you could safely walk to.
