This was by far the best hotel I have stayed in,in Colombia and many other countries by a long shot. The place is absolutely stunning. The room was large and very comfortable. One of my favorites was the rainfall shower! The breakfast, included in the price, was delicious. From the freshly squeezed orange juice to the fresh food plate and the breakfast entrees.
Perhaps one of the things I appreciated most was the staff. From the moment we entered the hotel, they were amazing. We received a tour of the facility and of the room! Everyone always had a smile on their face whenever we left the hotel and greeted us warmly when we arrived back from an outing.
Santa Marta was a memorable trip, made even better because of Hotel Boutique Don Pepe and the wonderful accommodation and staff. Would definitely recommend this hotel and look forward to staying there again.

Very good hotel in the old city. On the first night, we had some issues with the air-con, but they upgraded us the next night. soundproof windows, which is important, excellent service, and a good breakfast. Would stay there again without hesitation.

Hotel Boutique Don Pepe is amazing! The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. I absolutely loved it there and I will be back for sure.

Hotel Don Pepe is definitely a touch of luxury in the middle of historic Santa Marta. While this isn’t directly on the beach, it’s 2 minute walk to the main beach promenade. Additionally, it’s incredibly close the main pedestrian activity of the town. I’d say the winning feature of the hotel is the incredibly attentive service and how friendly the staff was. We stayed here for 5 nights and were certainly sad when we needed to leave.

This is a charming special hotel. Everything great. It is an old colonoal era buiding that was first renovated by Don Pepe for his family and then renovated by one of his sons was an architect. Oir room had q balcony over looking the inner courtyard. Air conditioning, and Direct TV with CNN as the only English language xhannel of you want to subjectnl yoirself to the horrors of times and CNN sensationalism on vacation. The staff were super helpful with top notch service. They even reminded us when it was time to leave to make our dinner reservations Breakfast was very good. I had the cayeye which was the banana mixture with cheese. Its better than my description. Delicious bread location is great. Terrific restaurants nearby .

From the moment we arrived we were greeted with a smile and were attended to in a way we’ve never been attended to before. This hotel stay has been my favorite of all hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The staff is incredible, from reception to kitchen, to housekeeping. They were super helpful and went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful stay. I can’t recommend Hotel Boutique Don Pepe enough!!

Don Pepe has a really nice rustic look, high ceilings and a beautiful roof top, quiet and comfortable beds. The place was very clean except the jacuzzi on the roof top had bird poop all over (not the hotel's fault) but it was disgusting, maybe they should cover it while nobody is using it or make sure is clean at all times. The staff was friendly specially Edgar.

The hotel benefits from a great central location in Santa Marta which we enjoyed. Very friendly and helpful staff. Charming period building and a lovely courtyard with pool. Our room was good but not great, on the ground floor, lacking light and slightly tired. I think the upstairs rooms may be better.

Very nice boutique hotel in the middle of the old city, one block from the seaside and two blocks from the restaurants area. The hotel si build in a very ancient convent from the 16the century, and everything is very well designed and integrated in the classical / new design of the room and patios. Very quiet and comfy. Recommended.

Don Pepe was wonderful . Great sense of old Colombia . Stylish . Open . Lovely pool . Spacious rooms . Very comfy beds and pillows . We upgraded to enjoy our own balcony . But it has several beautiful outside spaces to enjoy the views of Santa Marta and the coast. We would love to return .

It seemed like something out of a magazine. You walk in off a busy street to an oasis of calm and tranquility. My room was very comfortable and well equipped, a king sized bed complete with stacks of overstuffed pillows. The views from the rooftop decks were incredible and there were plenty of spaces to lounge, drink or sunbath. Their biggest asset is Lena the hotels manager who treated us like family. She spoke perfect English and was more than accommodating. The location was also perfect, one block from the beach and one block from the restaurant row and we felt very safe. I would highly recommend this hotel!

If you want to be treated like royalty, stay at Don Pepe. My wife and I only had a 1-night stay at Don Pepe and we wish it were longer. The staff was incredible, the rooms were beautiful, the bed was HUGE and soooo comfortable and the service was outstanding. They really went out of their way to make sure we felt welcome and appreciated. The manager of Don Pepe went above and beyond by offering us some time in a private spa/jacuzzi. It was lovely and really made the night. Thank you so much, Nelsy!

This is a fantastic hotel. It has classic architecture. It's location is great. All amenities are provided. The service is outstanding. Everyone is friendly and helpful. The hotel is decorated very artfully. The breakfast is cooked to order from a very large collection. All the food is cooked great. As with all Colombian hotels the staff needs to learn more english.

The hotel is lovely, staff very friendly and overall a great experience. However, two things meant this does not get 5* from me - the pool was not available for use on the three days we were there and the bathrooms in the standard bedrooms are not at all private. From the bed there is no door on the shower and you can see in completely. Not suitable for sharing with friends!!

This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed. First it is extremely stylish. The hotel was featured in Architectural Digest!! The attention to details throughout was impeccable. Last the staff and the guest were very friendly
