The staff is the magic for this place. Let's start out by saying this place is a great value for the price. The units could use some touch-ups and updates, but for what you are paying, no complaints. Our first night had a surprise when the Air Conditioning unit made a noise and stopped working at 2 in the morning. Not what you want in the middle of a hot and humid night. Management sprang into action and moved us into another unit the following day. The staff members are very courteous, service-oriented, and will go out of their way to assist with requests. An example was one of their employees using his motorcycle to go and pickup our food order from a restaurant after the restaurant informed us that their driver was no longer available to deliver our order. Amazing staff and great manager! Breakfast was consistently good and overall experience is recommended. However, stay away from their in-room dining aside from their breakfast. It comes from another distant kitchen and the food is no good. Plenty of restaurants in the area that will deliver instead. Location is close enough to the beach and restaurants/shopping area, but will be walking in small alleys to get around. Felt safe the entire time.

We stayed in a tired looking one bed villa, really needs improvement even though everything was clean it was a bit depressing. It was marketed as luxury and I’d have been happy if it cost half the price. Breakfast is made somewhere offsite and no coffee included. The staff are distrusting, we were late for the airport and they made us wait while they checked the room!

Place very run down, not the villa photos showed to be. Sheets not changed ever and were dirty, Villa quiet run down and clear with grime in bathrooms etc cleaning never done to a satisfactory level. Staff were good thou thou until they attempted to charge me cleaning of sheets on departure, then couldn’t advise the last time they were swapped out. Wouldn’t go back regardless of price. Good location thou.

Villa was as per photos - slightly dated but a good size. Could do with more storage (wardrobe is in the bathroom which is bizzare)! Breakfast is brought in from another location so arrives cold. On one morning we pre ordered breakfast to arrive at the villa for 8am. By 8:30am it had still not arrived and staff weren’t overly apologetic. Had to cancel as we had day plans. Would not describe as “beachside” but more close to the beach... we enjoyed our stay here but would chose a different location in Seminyak next time.

Stay was amazing, Ester and Yasenta who worked their were very helpful and easy to talk too. They helped us with our drivers, setting up our breakfasts and giving us recommendations of what was around our villas. Would be great to visit again. Location was a short 2 minute walk from all the touristy things in Bali. Only a 5 min walk to the beach and all the nightlife. Villas are way better option than the hotels as for the convenience of getting around. Also to save money, negotiate with the drivers (taxis) which are available everywhere. We got a english speaking driver for 10 hours to show us around Bali for under $50 USD, much cheaper and comfortable than booking a tour with other people you don’t know in a shuttle

Very clean, wonderful staff, private and quiet. Nice to escape the craziness of the main streets. Close to the beach and breakfast was very nice. We would defiantly stay here again.

We stayed in a 1 bedroom pool villa in June and were absolutely blown away. The service and room were fabulous. Breakfast was delivered to our villa by the friendly staff each morning along with juice. Everything was clean and tidy and room service was completed each day and fresh towels were provided. I would happily stay again.

Fantastic service here everyone is polite and always greets you with a smile. Makes the service very personalized and after a long day, feels like coming back to your home. They also clean up the villa everyday- and we return to see it in good condition :) Only thing is the location- most drivers don’t know where it is as they have to pass through a small narrow road into the villa. Hence most of the times we walked through the narrow road ourselves (around 3 min). Other than that the service has been impeccable. Also has free breakfast :)

What a lovely start to our trip! Great location, great breakfast, villas clean and spacious. The staff are absolutely lovely and went out of their way to meet our needs and were very kind to our two young daughters- thank you all! Such a relaxing breakfast atmosphere. Would definitely stay again.

We had the most amazing experience at Samaja Beachside Villas. My partner and I stayed for 10 nights and were treated like family the entire time. The villa it self was beautiful, clean and so relaxing. The new restaurant was great, with amazing food! Getting to pick breakfast off a menu each morning with tea and coffee was great - would definitely recommend including breaky!! we will be back!

Villa is clean and spacious. True to the pictures. Staffs are very friendly and responsive. Just be wary that the alley to the accoms can get very dark at night.

It is a great hideaway from the busy and tourist areas. The villa pool is a good 1.5m deep with outdoor and indoor showers, kitchenette facility, big room size, "in-villa" breakfast, free shuttle within Seminyak area (1st come 1st serve but you have to come back on your own), and staff are very friendly. The downsides are 'friendly' worms visiting the room everyday. No locks for the bathroom. Room-service menus are super expensive. And construction/renovation next door (new villa) EVERYDAY from 8am to 5pm.

This is a great place to stay in Seminyak if you want some peace and quiet but also want to be close to amenities and the beach. It is located inside a quiet alley away from the main street but is within walkable distance to amenities and the beach. The villa provides free pickup from the airport and also transport to places within Seminyak at no additional costs. The driver who picked us up was really friendly and recommended places for us to visit. The villa staff were also extremely helpful and service was superb. The villa itself was very well-maintained and clean. The bedroom was very spacious and pool was also clean. There are a lot of mosquitoes but repellants are readily available at the villa. Breakfast and room service was also good, massage services at the villa is also very affordable. Overall a very pleasant stay in Seminyak and I would high recommend this villa to anyone looking for an affordable stay!

The staff at Semaja were so welcoming and genuinely accommodating. Our villa was clean and quiet and the room service food was delicious. It was a bit difficult to find the Semaja, but worth it to be away from the congestion of Seminyak. The taxi did not know how to get there so he dropped us off down the road. We had to walk a few minutes down a narrow road to get to the Semaja. Although the Semaja is not exactly beachside, you can walk there within 5 minutes. There is local shopping and good eats a few minutes away. Our private pool was refreshing. The staff provide a personal touch that you do not get from most hotels. They went above and beyond to accommodate us and we felt very well taken care of.

We had a wonderful honeymoon stay at Samaja Villas. Service was amazing. The staff spoke English and they made sure our stay was perfect. Samaja is made up of 7 or so sectioned off villas. The bathroom and bedroom are indoors, and your kitchen/dining area is outdoors (covered). Our villa had it's own pool (I'm not sure if each of the villas have a pool) and two chairs to layout. Samaja is tucked away in a long alleyway off the main road so its very quiet. Samaja is aware of this so they provide shuttle service, free of charge, anywhere in Seminyak. It's only about a 10 minute walk to the main road where you can access shops, atms, convenience stores, and restaurants. One of Samaja's biggest perks is they're a 15 min walk, or quick shuttle ride, to Seminyak beach and they include two chairs and an umbrella, free of charge. Their spot on the beach is convenient and you have access to several restaurants within a few feet/meters. Make sure to add on breakfast and take advantage of their full day tour of uluwatu, which was offered at a reasonable price. I would recommend Samaja to anyone looking for a quieter stay in busy/touristy Seminyak.

The villas are well maintained. Staff is wonderful, helpful and gives you special treatment. Worth the money charged.

We really enjoyed this property & would stay here again.The staff were excellent & always willing to help or assist.They were terrific and made our stay even more enjoyable.We found the location of this venue very suitable as we could walk to most local places we wanted to visit.

My fiancé and i stayed at this amazing villa the staff were extremely friendly, helpful and would instantly arrange anything we needed and answered any questions we had. I have never had service like this anywhere in the world :) this villa is a close walk to everything you need including the beach! We will be back again - Jane & Sean

The stay was excellent. The staff were beautiful and despite the quiet location, shopping and the beach were a short stroll away. The only issue we had was unpredictable hot water in the shower. I would recommend this villa highly.

The villa was close to the beach and a walkable distance to other amenities. The room was very spacious for two people and comfortable, and the staff were very accommodating and polite. They were very friendly and always made sure everything was alright with us, and they also provided transportation to nearby places like Seminyak square. Overall we had a very pleasant stay in Seminyak and we definitely recommend this villa to others.

This hotel was as advertised. Isolated and out of the way so it is quiet. But 5 minutes walk and you ate at the beach or in the hustle and bustle of restaurants and bars, with shopping everywhere. The staff was so friendly and eager to help, they were the BEST part. My only negatives are that they don't have a restaurant so room service can take a long time and the wine that was brought from who-knows-where was warm and always out of white wine. Wasn't expecting so many mosquitoes either, but that's not anyone's fault. I would definitely recommend the Samaja Beach Villas!

The villas were excellent, close to all the restaurants, bars, beach and shopping. Staff were the best staff I have ever come across , very helpful, would deffinatly stay there again.

Was a great stay. The staff were exceptional and would highly recommend. We did not have one negative about the resort.
