The property is beautiful. Alberto at the front desk was so helpful and even came out to our car to help with luggage. Josephine, the owner—perfection! So happy to find this gem and be welcomed so warmly!

It was a nice place. The pools are great. The food isn’t anything special. It’s not close to beach.

Rooms are modern, quiet and beds are very comfortable. Breakfast buffet was ok, nothing spectacular. Good location, short drive to the beach and sodas. The swimming pools are very nice, the bar was open until late. Parking was at the front. Overall a good night stay.

Rooms are clean comfortable beds and quiet. Restaurants both have great food and service! Pools are lovely! Beach amazing, they supply lounge chairs, shower and bathroom. We will be back.

Nice hotel but overpriced for what is on offer especially if you are places in the older rooms above the reception area. Our room was very loud as it was above the restaurant and the screen door feel off. Staff were awesome and moved us to a different room for the second night. Great location and nice grounds but there are nicer options in the area around Playa Carrillo for a similar price.

Very nicely kept. Unfortunately they were repairing the main pool which is eventually going to be amazing. The personnel was very attentive. Things were very nice and clean. The food was good nice options.

Nice hotel, not pleased and a shame we were notify or in expedia it did not said they were renovating the main pool! We were looking for a nice quiet stay for our daughter to study during the weekend and us to rest which was not possible due to the loud noises of the renovation plus constructors workers having loud and uncomfortable conversations

We are enjoying our stay of 6 nights.Wonderful hotel and staff. Everyone is very accommodating and helpful with our many questions and desires. Breakfast is fantastic. The gardens are beautiful. It’s safe and quiet and clean. Some but not all tours pick up here. If you have a car that’s not an issue. Some of our time was spent lounging poolside after a morning event ( very hot during our visit). You can’t go wrong with a light lunch or drinks poolside. Great spot to chill before resuming your adventure in the late afternoon. Note:If you drive here come through Nicoya. The other road is bad. Waze wants to take you on the other road.

An amazing hotel! It’s our 2nd visit and we can’t wait to go back. Friendly staff, impeccable service in a beautiful garden with 2 main pools. Close to Carillo beach and has a very good restaurant for lunch and dinner. A must in the Samara area.

This is my second time staying hotel is a bit out of town for those who want to be in Samara but also kind of perfect, because you’re away from the fray, and you have ready access to Carrillo Beach, which I prefer The grounds are lovely with beautiful plants. The staff is attentive, breakfast is included , this a very nice step up from an American Hotel breakfast. This is such a nice contrast from those hotels where there are not enough seats around the pool and everybody’s competing; lots of space, a very relaxing place to stay

I was traveling alone with my two daughters and Roger at the front desk helped me feel very comfortable. He helped arrange rides, booked tours, and gave advice. Such a wonderful stay! Beautiful grounds, good food.

Absolutely love this hotel! Every single staff member is so friendly and the grounds are beautiful! The restaurant is delicious and we are going to extend our stay because we love it that much! Highly recommend!!

Beautiful property-5 star PLUS. Quality and presentation of food was incredible. I had beef tenderloin and wife seared tuna in teriyaki sauce - both excellent at reasonable price ($46 total plus tip including beer). Good breakfast-4 options including fruit included with lodging. Staff well dressed and polite. Roger at front desk exceptional. Playa Carrillo beautiful with small surf. Hotel supplies chairs on beach along with portable toilet & shower. We did not take free shuttle to beach but nice amenity. Very quiet and relaxing setting for both couples and families. Also, 3 pools and bar service available. Highly recommend as we should have stayed morr than 1 night.

Det var väldigt fint, en fantastisk trädgård och flera stora rena pooler. Rummet var rätt litet men väldigt fräscht! Maten på restaurangen var tyvärr inte jättegod men servicen var utmärkt. Personalen på restaurangen var också jättetrevlig och hjälpsam. Vi saknade kärl för sopsortering och en starkare hållbarhetsinriktning. Rekommenderar verkligen stället om du vill ha lugna dagar där du om du vill enbart kan hänga på hotellet!

We stumbled upon this place when had another place not work out and has been the best part of our trip so far what an amazing stay! The grounds are beautiful and the staff is amazing. Very welcoming and accommodating. Enjoyed the breakfast and the restaurant for additional meals. The shuttle and beach accommodation are amazing. Beach chairs, mobile bathroom and shower come with your stay if you go to the beach which I highly recommend. Can’t wait to come back.
