The property is right on the lakeside and within easy walking distance from the centre of Vevey. The views lakeside are fantastic and change every day depending on the weather. It is a very relaxing place to stay. The bus runs along the main road at the main entrance side of the hotel and they are on time, frequent and there is a bus stop just less than a minutes walk away. Trains are close by too as are the paddle steamers. There is access through the hotel garden down to the promenade which runs all the way from La Tour-de-Peilz to Vevey. The hotel including the rooms are very clean and well looked after, perhaps not totally up to date and might need bringing up to date in places but that was not a problem and was really quite charming. For me the bed was very comfortable. There was no air conditioning in the room, just a fan. It was starting to get hot whilst we were there and we thought that opening the window would cause noise problems (we were roadside) but in the end we were fine. The breakfasts were good although a little bit of variation wouldn't go amis. The staff were extremely obliging and helpful except for the last morning when the young waitress in the dining room thought that it was a good idea to open the patio doors really wide which made the dining room very cold. A lot of people complained as there were a lot of elderly people there and eventually the problem was resolved. For us it was the perfect place to stay at that time.

Really nice place and Vevey was a great town. The only negative was the showers are very small [seemed like 30 x 30 inches]. Staff was very friendly and helpful and breakfast was very good!

Beautiful location on Lake Geneva. Quiet.

The hotel is Ok and given hotel costs in the area a reasonable price. There are some areas that could be improved. Firstly the internet sign on is clunky and old fashioned and connections are slow and not very reliable. Breakfast hours could also be extended at weekends as people want to eat later and so the breakfast room becomes full quickly. Lakeside rooms have a good view but are a little noisy in the morning if you are low down as you are over the restaurant terrace. All in all though not a bad choice and a great location

The hotel has a wonderful view right on the lake. Room and staff were very good. The breakfast was excellent. It's a beautiful area within a short drive to Luzerne.

Stayed at this hotel to visit the Montreux Christmas market. Great location to bus stop that took us directly to town and on the next day, the same bus route to the Chateau Chillon. Nice view over the lake from bedroom window. Breakfast was adequate although would have been nice to have more warm options. Coffee very tasty. Lovely friendly lady on reception helped us as we couldn't speak French.

The hotel and location are amazing. The sites are beautiful, public transportation and walking are ideal at this location. The hotel staff and the breakfast is wonderful. We highly recommend this hotel.

The rose garden on the back side viewable from the patio terrace is nice. The staff was very helpful and the restaurant was amazing. An easy access to/from the train station via buss 2. Highly recommended.

The view is what you pay for - and what you get. Fantastic! The outdoor breakfast was very joyful and the quality of the food also in top! The rooms - old and would be nice to welcome them to this millennium…

We had a fantastic stay in Bon Rivage, it is a great value for money, wonderful location, magical views over Lake Geneva from the rooms and terrace, easy access to the public beach, breakfast included, beautiful and stylish 1st class hotel. The staff is also very friendly, they leave a kettle, water for tea and tea bags on each floor, very generous to guests. Beds are also very comfortable, we are looking forward to coming back next year!

Lovely location on lake front with superb views. Breakfast on the terrace - wonderful start to the day! Was there for the Montreux jazz festival and thé hotel gives a local travel card (standard practice) so once the car was parked up we took the bus into vevey, Montreux and to the stadium for a concert. V clean, nice room. The only downside was the lack of air con. In 35 degree heat you need air con in a bedroom. The hotel were obviously aware of the issue and as a consequence provided a fan but it didn’t cool the room down. Credit given to them for providing one though.

Beautiful old hotel with great view of the lake. No ac and busy road. I would want a lake view room to get away from the road noise. Outside patio dining overlooks Lake. Nice walk in pretty park along lake into Vevy.

Nice location between Vevey and Montreux! We would like to have kettle within the room instead taking hot water in the corridor!

The hotel was in a good position beside the lake. It is walking distance from Vevey. It is on a bus route along the lake and the hotel gives you a free bus pass to use during yoyr day.
