Excellent stay at this hotel while exploring Mexico City. The staff were excellent from the front desk to food service. A special mention to Guilliamo who was very friendly & helpful. The breakfast team were aways cheerful and helpful to guide our choices with excellent Mexican breakfast fare. The room was very comfortable and quiet and the bed was super comfortable. Overall i would highly recommend this hotel for those who dont want a soleless chain option.

Just suberb and excellent!! Love the they provide ware bottle in a fridge every floor and the complimentary food and drinks at the 24hr cafe. It’s like I’m in an all inclusive resort. The breakfast was delish and I like that it’s cook to order. The staff are great! Location is great as well. Close to shops, restaurant and Cathedral.

Omg!!! This hotel it’s so addicting i love every single thing in it! Best experience ever Im always traveling so I know for a fact that this is by far the best Hotel I have ever stayed!!! Good customer service

Very clean property, very small room but we did not mind. Breakfast was really good. Family friendly. Did not like that front desk gave me hard time as according to their system I did not pay for my child’s stay which I had, lost precious vacation time looking up for receipts and waiting on staff to speak to management. Other than that everything was great.

The service/staff was amazing and the included breakfast was too. We felt very welcomed from the moment we arrived. The location is very convenient. 10000% recommended.

My wife and I went for a three day stay. CDMX is amazing. This hotel is in perfect location to walk to food, shopping, and historical sights. We are in our 50’s and have stayed at hotels all over Europe and the USA. The hospitality here was like nothing we have experienced. They were wonderful. If you are. Finally, if you are concerned about safety, don’t be. We walked over 20 miles in three days and never felt anything close to unsafe. Have fun.

It was just perfect, incredible, great place. Everything was just so nice, the staff, the place, the area, the food. They have a café that is for free and it’s sooo convenient. I loved it and would love to come vack. The only “downside” would be that being in downtown is that if there is a manifestation or something going on in Zocalo, you might have to walk some blocks to get an Uber BUT everything is walkable and enjoyable.

Great location

It was a magical stay. The staff are all friendly, helpful, and service oriented. We dined in a few mornings for breakfast and the meals from the preset menu were delicious. We loved the daily bread offerings. We enjoyed a few paninis and snacks and coffee from the cafe. All fantastic. We appreciated being a quick walk from various tourist must sees. We opted to take the walking tour and learned so much. We were able to eat tacos, pan, and more. Our first room was beautiful and we appreciated the turn down service along with robes and other amenities. We can not say enough how grand our stay was. We are eager to repeat and would highly recommend Historico Central. From the heart, de todo corazon gracias por dejarnos celebrar todo lo bueno de Mexico.

Our stay at Historico Central Hotel was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the excellent service, the well-appointed room and the friendly, attentive staff. We had the suite with a king-sized bed & balcony overlooking the busy yet charming street in front of the hotel. The bathroom, although on the smaller side, had a lot of things not usually included like toothpaste, mouthwash & men’s shave plus shaving cream. They also provided robes and slippers which I love everytime I go to any hotels. Breakfast was a highlight—cooked to order with a wide range of delicious options. Having access to Café Central was an added bonus, where you can enjoy unlimited food and drinks at any time if you’re staying in a suite. The in-room fridge stocked with drinks was a thoughtful touch, and the fridges around the hotel with water bottles available 24/7 were very convenient. The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of Mexico City, just a few minutes' walk from the city's most historic and iconic sites. It made exploring the city incredibly easy and enjoyable. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will definitely be returning on our next trip to Mexico City!

The property was exceptionally clean. Everyone was happy and enjoying the views. The housekeepers greeted everyone with a smile.

We love charming, old world hotels and seek them out whenever we can. So this hotel was an easy choice for our family of 4. We stayed here for a couple of days over the summer and absolutely loved it. Despite its great location and ecofriendly touch, it was the hotel's team and Axel in particular who made it an unforgettable experience. Shal and I have kept in our journal, the lovely note written by him showing a list, borne from careful research, of safe and comfortable spots meeting our exact wish for a night out on the town. Shout out to Miriam and Rebecca as well. We loved it there and will return again. It was a good rest stop before the madness that was Cacun.
