While the hotel was not terrible the hallways didn't look like they had been vacuumed for two weeks. The hotel is old and needs a refresh. Stains on all of the carpets. We had to change rooms when we first arrived as the cleanliness of the first room was awful. The second room was okay. One thing this hotel an all hotels needs to do is if they have a sofa bed they need to clean under the couch. And all hotels need to update their vacuums so they can actual pick up things. While they said they do a refresh every other day they did not do that for us. Their signage is misleading. Parking is atrocious and limited. Breakfast was not very good. We selected the breakfast sandwiches and they were cold. I would probably never stay here again unless I absolutely had too. The only things the place had going for it was the staff was very friendly and were very accommodating.

Very nice hotel. Staff was very friendly and accomodating. Very clean property. Suite was very nice, the bed was to soft for my liking but not for the wife. All in all nice place.

This is the best hotel I have stayed in in years. It's clean and modern and spacious. My room was large. The breakfast was delicious. The staff are super friendly, from the front desk to the breakfast guy to the lady that gave my kids mints to the dog treats by the door. Even the pool guy was friendly. Two thumbs up. If you need to stay in SLC, it's right off I-80 and couldn't be nicer!

They stay was okay for what we needed. Breakfast was not so great, and there was small little bugs in the bathroom coming out of the floors, but instead of contacting anyone we just used my travel cleaning supplies that I always have to kill them and clean up myself. I don’t trust hotel cleaning services. I always clean the rooms myself before I sleep or use anything.

Thanks so much for giving us a late check out to accommodate our puppies while I had a doctor appointment. Staff was so nice and I would definitely stay here again. Comfy beds and large rooms! Got a king room but ended up getting a queen due to over booking but that was just fine 🙂 thank you!

Good stay! Room is huge… 3 beds, everyone loved having their own space. Having a kitchen is cool. Staff was cool.
Parking can be challenging later in the evening, we had to park away from the hotel on one of the nights and walk in between the Walmart and hotel.

This is a well located hotel on a busy street. No restaurants in walking distance but an excellent breakfast bar, good rooms, and a nice pool.

Nice hotel in a good location not far from U of Utah and downtown. Staff was friendly. Rooms were clean. The free breakfast was ok. Exercise facility equipment needs repairs (elliptical and stationary bike).

Absolutely terrible
Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in
DIRTY!! Absolutely disgusting. There is more storage in their hotel room than a 1500 square foot home
But only one place to get ready. The bathroom, making it VERY difficult if you aren’t traveling alone or with a spouse
None of the charging outlets in the room worked and even though the room advertised a “kitchen” sadly there was none.
No cook top or oven so forget trying to make your own breakfast. Good news though the continental breakfast is just as gross and dirty as the rest of the hotel.
For the price I should have stayed home. It was more expensive than the Hotel America or 5 star hotels in Salt Lake City. I thought it would better. By the way the pool is a scary basement pool that should have been the parking garage.
The hotel has absolutely NO parking. Both nights we stayed we had to park illegal and pray that the gods of SLC wouldn’t tow our ride out of poverty. The only saving grace was the laughs at check-in with TeeJay

I had the best one night stay. Check in was so quick and easy. The free breakfast was so good and clean. The pool area was clean and so much fun. The beds were comfy and so were the pillows. Grubhub was super quick and easy. The shower pressure was amazing! There is not body wash but that's okay I did bring my own. The complementary shampoo and conditioner are actually really nice! But.... I do think we need to come out with a how to behave at a hotel for dummies book though. Why are people so obnoxious? The tv doesn't have to be at max volume nor do we need to let the doors slam shut all hours of the night.

Super easy check in and check. The room had everything we needed. Plus, its super dog friendly there so we got to see a bunch of cute dogs. Theres a little coffee place rihht in the parking lot too and walmart is basically in the same parking lot so anything we needed was right there.

Nice property but needs upgrading, especially on the main floor. I don’t recommend staying on ground level (floor 2). The doors are not quiet and slam; kept us awake from about 4:00am onwards due to doors slamming as other guests woke up. Was very loud and not restful whatsoever. I advised the front desk of how loud it was and she said it was because we were close to a stairwell and door to exit outside. I don’t believe that’s a good enough reason for $200/night..we were road tripping and not getting a good nights sleep was very inconvenient.

The hallway had a smell. Microwave was not cleaned, there was a toenail on the floor. Not sure if the room was vacuumed after the previous person checked out. When I told an employee he seemed to just not to really care.

Wasn't one of our favorite Home2 Suites. It sounds like it's going to get updated which it needs badly. Our room was on the West side with the heat pouring into our room and the AC not working properly it got pretty hot. They only charged us for one night so they were helpful in that sense. The bedding was a bit worn and the bottom sheet wouldn't stay on the bed. Basically it was clean. I think it's just a bit worn out.

I booked this Home2Suites through Expedia and it says the pet fee is $50. I was charged $75 to my credit card. When I called the front desk to inquire, they told me to pound sand and hung up on me! I’m protesting the fee through my credit card - what a hassle.

We had a very easy time checking in. He gave us one room then we did ask if it was possible to have a room overlooking the city and he was very accommodating and changed rooms for us so that we could have a room with the view.

Biggest flaw is not having enough parking. Also when we were ready to checkout, there were no trolleys.

We were happy with the hotel. One complaint is that they didn’t have our 3 rooms ready at 5pm when we arrived. We sat in the lobby area and wasted the time for one and a half hour before they gave us keys to enter our rooms. We were late going out for the meal and felt like we lost precious time to drive around to view Salt Lake City that day.
