Hotel was lovely, everything you could need. Close to the beach and the historic areas. Lots of nearby places for breakfast, lunch and dinner! And the hotel has a great bar too. Massages in the spa were incredible (thank you Chloe!).

What can I say, the room were large the value was good, the bed was comfortable, and the person who greeted us at the lobby was super friendly and had a welcoming smile. We stayed two nights. The hotel is walkable and the location is far enough away from the hustle of the tourist streets, but if you wanted to get there, it was easy. It can be a little difficult driving in the city, but if you take your time, you’ll be fine

Great location with friendly staff. Well kept modern hotel with a clean and comfortable room. Inviting bar and restaurant off the lobby. Parking was convenient, just be sure to call ahead and reserve a parking spot.

Have you ever heard of a wall anchor? I don't think sticking a bottle of hand soap on the wall with double-stick tape qualifies as proper installation.

Room was uncomfortable- sparse furniture- only on outdoor patio style chair, very uncomfortable and a large clear plastic device, unclear I table or stool. Doubt it would hold me. One very small nightstand. Other than bed that was it for furnishings. No refrigerator. Toilet was in one very small room with no sink - other side of room from sink and shower. We are mobility limited seniors. We were concerned that as soon as you step into the room, you have to step up for rest of room, risk of falling/tripping, especially at night. There was a very nice restaurant across the small square in another property.

The Golden Tulip was a beautiful hotel located right in the center of old St Malo. The room was very nice, the staff was very helpful and even gave us a restaurant recommendation that was the best meal we had in France. It was also right next to the old walls of the city which provided for a wonderful evening walk.

This hotel within the historic walled portion of St Malo was a great place to start our Brittany vacation. Relatively large rooms, very comfortable beds, and nice bathrooms. Walking within the walled city is hilly and over cobblestone streets so those with limited mobility would struggle. Would definitely recommend for those who don’t have physical limitations.

I had never stayed in a golden tulip hotel before, and I was so pleasantly surprised to find such a clean, comfortable, architecturally, pleasant new hotel. The rooms are done very smartly. No carpet beds can be raised by the housekeeper easily to clean under them, the fixtures in the room and furniture allow you to store your items easily And the rooms were bright and cheerful

A beautiful hotel in the centre of San Marlo and it’s many shops, restaurants and cafes. If driving you have to book one of their car parking spaces as parking is very limited in the area. Highly recommend this hotel.

The location of the hotel was great! Check-in was smooth. Reception staff was very detailed and personally helped opened the car park gate when we had difficulty finding the keypad. Room was clean and comfortable!

Didn't have the fridge it was supposed to have. No milk so couldn't make a drink. Website said free parking but it cost 60 euros. Website said free breakfast but it wasn't. Would have been better if it had a view instead of sky as we paid for a deluxe room.

Brilliant hotel. I couldn’t fault it. Perfect location overlooking a lovely quiet square. Staff are extremely helpful. Rooms are modern and bright. I wouldn’t stay anywhere in St Malo. Highly recommended.
