Nice hotel with fabulous breakfast. Great location for the cathedral and castle. A member of staff was rude and disrespectful towards a member of my group but we would return.

Our third stay this year. It's so convenient and the added bonus you have the Cathedral on your doorstep, the Bail, castle and many small shops

Ideal location for exploring Lincoln and great view of the cathedral from the restaurant. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious.

Came for an overnight stay to see about booking for our wedding venue but the outside of the building isnt very nice which is a shame as the view of the cathedral from the hotel is beautiful.
The decor is good inside, cleanliness is ok but even though it wasnt that busy it took a while for tables to get cleared of empty cups and glasses. The floor in the dining area where we was sat beside our table was full of toe/finger nails too!
The area they use for the wedding reception isnt very nice, the carpet is filthy from breakfast stains and just old and ruined, really low ceiling and the bar for the function is just pointless! Just not worth the asking price they want for having your wedding there.
The Smell of the hallways going to the rooms on the first floor smelt like a nursing home which wasnt pleasant at all.
The bed was all sunken in and very uncomfortable and was the worst night sleep ever. Definitely changed my mind about booking my wedding reception there.
The staff are very friendly and helpful though.

Hotel is convenient for the city, sitting as it does almost in the shadow of the cathedral. Nothing special about the room, but big enough and comfortable, with a comfortable bed, decent TV and a clean bathroom. The breakfast was very good - nice sausages and black pudding! Another guest at my table didn't like the fried eggs - they looked OK to me! Hotels are judged on their breakfasts, certainly by me anyway, and this one was good! Convenient car parking but was an extra cost.

We always stay here when we visit Lincoln. The hotel is in a brilliant location, right opposite the cathedral and close to lots of lovely shops, cafes and restaurants.

Hotel is looking a little tied they need to spend a bit money on doing it up the restaurant and bar areas are nice but the rooms and corridors bathrooms definitely need revamping. It’s in a great location it could look lovely.

The Hotel room looked very tired, especially the bath, most of the enamel had disappeared off the bath, the furniture was scratched and chipped in places.we did not have a room with a view , but wasn’t bothered, but the hotel looks like it could with a jet wash.The amenities in the room were very good, different teas, coffee, and the toiletries were a nice touch too .The staff were very accommodating and helpful, especially Martin whom I had spoken to the previous day before arrival, he gave me some advice about getting from the train station to the hotel , overall for the cost of what we paid for the room, it was worth it , just really thinks it needs a refurb in the rooms

Having had our wedding reception here in 1971 we were looking forward to our stay. The breakfasts were excellent, staff helpful but our curtains wouldn't draw, the toilet seat fell off and water would barely drain away in the sink. It was reported but nothing was done. This was disappointing.

Hotel location amazing with amazing views of the cathedral, the room are a little tired but clean, the room we stayed in it had obviously been a birthday/anniversary and was still the cellotape up from holding up the balloons and banners on mirror and balcony door!
But other wise generally clean.
Staff on reception really helpful , quick and officiant.

Good value, although extremy slow internet and no a/c. Bed was comfortable, breakfast was filling, and the location couldn’t have been better.

The hotel is a bit dated, but overall not bad. Great location right across the street from Lincoln Cathedral. The bed was comfortable. Not all rooms are air conditioned, so you need to call the hotel and request an air conditioned room after you book if you want one. My room felt a bit tired and in need of a remodel, but there were no major issues.

Has a nice stay at the Lincoln hotel. Good room with comfy bed and decent shower. Great location, next to cathedral, easy to walk to restaurants, bars, shops. You are at the top of the steep hill but that wasn't a problem for us. Staff are lovely and helpful. I was a little dubious when we booked in as there was a wedding in the hotel and some sort of karaoke or loud singing going on at 5ish but we weren't really disturbed by it in our room and had a good night's sleep.

Location is fantastic for city centre. However, for the price this hotel charges for its rooms, it is not good value for money.
We had a garden room which was nice, but the carpet was dirty and clearly hadn’t been vacuumed properly.
The staff were friendly enough but all the comfy chairs in reception either needed a deep clean or burning - preferably burning given how stained they were.
We went to a concert and thought we would come back for a drink in the bar but the bar is poorly stocked so very limited options and with the dirty chairs, not a great experience.
This could be so much more but needs some TLC and a good deep clean to justify the rates.

And you’re adjacent to the factors that established Lincoln , the Cathedral visible opposite your dining & bar areas and a short walk into the Castle and the Magna Carta centre .

Initially booked for 3 nights but we had to cancel our last night because of work commitments. The hotel staff were very understanding and had no problem getting a refund. We had a deluxe Cathedral facing room which was nice. The room itself was a little scruffy and quite warm. There was a air conditioning unit but it wasnt working particularly well as it looked quite old. There was a blackout curtain missing from the window which meant the early morning light could be troublesome for some guests. The wifi worked well though and the breakfast area and food was good. We would stay here again as it is in a great location with free car parking. Hopefully, there will be some updating and repairs soon.

The stay in general was goid but we were kept awake with alot of noise outside, some kind of machinary was turning on and off and then very early deliveries
