Air conditioning was not working, no telephone in room for reception, no iron, no way of contacting as they do not pickup the external phone number either

It was our second stay and just as good as the first time. Professional, courteous Check-in and the same of all the Personal at the Hotel. Breakfast was fresh, plentiful and simply good. This time our Room was to the inside (4th Floor) and very quiet. I am familiar with Düsseldorf and it is within walking distances to Transportation or Shopping, the Old Town and the Rhine. Wir freuen uns schon auf unsere nächste Reise in Düsseldorf und werden wieder im Carat Hotel buchen. Wir können es nur empfehlen.

Everything was great! Liked the hotel . Bed was comfortable but I could hear noises from the next room.

Generally satisfied, nice people and service was great. But cleaning service can be improved.

CONVENABLE

A fantastic hotel, great breakfast, walkable to most places of interest and a great room and most comfortable bed and super helpful and nice staff. The only downside was the shower over the quite high bath tub and no anti slip matting. Had a great stay for 4 nights and would most definitely stay here at the carat hotel again if in Düsseldorf

Nice hotel, clean and comfortable rooms. Perfect for a business trip. Not so cozy, hotel is a bit anonymous. Hotel is quiet but doors are slamming in the mornings when guests are heading for breakfast.

Edeka is very closed. Good restaurants near by.

Great Hotel in a perfect location. Everything is walkable. Hotel has a super market attached to it and a large parking garage. Rooms were clean and bed were comfortable. Breakfast buffet also good. I would stay here again.

Excellent one nighter at the Calant Hotel. Clean room, warm water, discounted parking at the Crown garage and a terrific well looked after breakfast at all that in the heart of Dusseldorf. Great stay!

We really liked the Carathotel, it's modern and the staff was very friendly. The breakfast was nice. We could easily walk to different restaurants and to public transport. The only thing I was hoping for was a proper shampoo/conditioner. There is an "all-in-one" cleansing gel for hair, body and hands which is not good to long hair. And for some reason only part of the dirty towels were changed during day cleaning. We would recommend this hotel.

The hotel does not clean the room during the stay that I would say for a hotel in the price level is very bad. They are saying that it is due to green stay but that is a total lie, the hotel is only to make extra profit. The capacity in the lobby area is is to small.

Have stayed at this holel twice before. There used to be free gluwein in the bar area at Christmas, but that is no longer available unless you pay €4. Shame really as that was a nice touch and made it different to other hotels. Rooms are quite spacious and comfortable and the location is good, about a 15min walk to the Aldstadt and 10mins to the train station. Breakfast is very good and there is a very good choice. Will go back.

Our stay at the hotel was lovely. Clean and comfy snd the staff were really helpful and polite. Breakfast was more than enough.

Easy to park and walk into town, hotel staff very friendly and efficient. Comfy bed and good breakfast.

So, picture this: We were all excited about our hotel stay. They dangled this fancy upgraded room carrot in front of us, and we thought, "Why not?" So we splurged an extra 60 euros. But here's the kicker, our friends, who happen to be a couple, snagged the same room right next door for less! We couldn't help but feel a tad disappointed. Then, to add a dash of irony to the mix, we'd kindly asked for an early check-in. But guess what? When we rolled up to the hotel, they broke our hearts and said, "No can do." And to top it off, the message from Expedia explaining all this was in German! My main language? Good ol' English, of course. But, hold your horses, it's not all gloom and doom! Apart from these two little hiccups, the hotel itself was spotlessly clean, the rooms were swanky, and the breakfast? Oh, it was a feast fit for royalty! So, all in all, not too shabby, I must say!

When you go by car it is easy to reach from the freeway and you can park underneath the hotel within walkable distance from the Könings Allee. The room was very comfortable and clean, only the ammenities were lacking hair conditioner and body lotion. Breakfast is very good with items for people with food intoleranties (glutenfree, soy products), friendly staff, no restaurant, only a bar with lounge area near the reception. We would go here again for a next visit.

Great Hotel, well situated for a few days visiting Düsseldorf one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had in a hotel. So much choice and something for everyone. Nice relaxed atmosphere with complimentary team and coffee all day in the lounge. Would highly recommend

The hotel is a short walking distance from the old town and the railway station. The breakfast is excellent, the best we have had in all our travels. The staff are really friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. The only downside was the hotel bar was closed on the first two nights of our stay but that in no detracted from how good the hotel is.

Very modern and clean. Good loction near the center and railwaystation. Quite peacefull but you can hear everything going on in the hallway. Good breakfast but very crowded

The hotel was ok inkt the room nog ok

It was very comfort, clean and staf was very friendly. Cleaning staff took my Wife's cosmetic. I complain but after two days till checkout there was no answer/action. Location and Parking area is excellent. Issac and Shikrova were helpfull.
