We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Inn at the Pier. Room was great. Balcony view of the beach was awesome. We had issues with a couple of things. Bathroom and doorway had good lighting but the bedroom itself had only one lamp. We would have liked an extra lamp. Water temperature in shower was hard to regulate. It was either really hot or lukewarm. We would have loved to have a microwave to warm up leftovers. Also, carpets in hallway looked in need of changing. Overall our stay was hreat. Staff was friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back.

We had a wonderful stay at this place. The only disappointment was that they only had valet parking at a cost. I prefer to park my own vehicle.

When we arrived, we quickly dropped off our belongings and headed out to explore. I noticed the floor was a bit dirty but didn’t think much of it at the time. Later that evening, when I went into the bathroom, I found clumps of hair near the bathtub, some stuck to the sliding door, and short curly hairs on the sink. The following morning, I mentioned this to Robert at the front desk and asked if someone could come by to clean the room. I didn’t report it the night before as my kids were exhausted and needed to sleep. I truly appreciate Robert—he handled the situation with such understanding, compassion, and kindness. The property manager was also wonderful, stepping in to make sure the issue was addressed quickly and that our stay remained pleasant. The location of the hotel is fantastic—it’s a beachfront property with stunning views of the pier, which is just a short walk away. We loved the easy access to the beach and nearby attractions. The valet team was super friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. Breakfast was a standout, 10/10 for both food and service. Dinner was good as well, but I’d give it an 8/10 due to the long wait times. That said, the views during dinner were incredible, which helped make up for it. The hotel also features a small heated pool, perfect for families with young kids. It comfortably fits about five children, though it’s on the smaller side if you’re expecting more space.

Rooms over public parking area can be loud late at night

Loved our girls weekend stay. So easy to walk to everything, shopping and food options.

Located is great. Rooms are big. Chinzy on towels, had to request a fridge, no beach towels.

Clean

The valet attendants were very professional and polite. There were two front desk staff members (both female) at the counter when my family and I entered. Neither acknowledged us as we approached the counter. I stood at the counter for about 2 minutes then sat down without any acknowledgement. Highly unprofessional!

It was a great experience from check in to check out.

Carpeting needs to be cleaned

The hotel was a beautiful experience. However, the balcony with the firepit can be a bit dirty and the outsife furniture could use a wash. Beside that, the entire hotel is well located. You cpuld walk to hotels, boardwalk, entertainment, etc.

Room was a mile from the elevator and I do have some physical challenges so they quickly changed our room to one with a view of the pier and it was a HUGE room. Had dinner on their rooftop restaurant. It was a bit chilly but good. Nice breakfast too.

Nice looking hotel in a prime spot in front of the pier making it easy access to all of the restaurants and shops. Room was clean and spacious. Lobby was really pretty. Only issue with this hotel is the rooftop area, it’s large and could be so nice, but all of the seating areas are stained and the pool area was covered in dirty footprints. The pool itself is tiny and looked dirty. There are plenty of staff up in this area that could be keeping it clean, but are standing around. We asked for an heater to brought to the table as it was cold. The signs on the heater say you have to ask staff to position them, but it seemed like a huge issue for the staff to get it for us. Aside from this, the hotel is a nice find.

The property was nice. Room was stuffy and smelled like bleach. But the area is great. Close to everything

The attendant that check me in, claimed that they didn’t have extra rolling in beds. And she wouldn’t give me one. I know they do because I used them before.

The resort is so nicely located. Pretty quiet environment. Some people are a little clueless that people are sleeping when then decide to head to their room at night but otherwise loved it. Food on the roof top and bar was really good. Can't wait to plan another trip

My parents and I always stay here because it’s convenient, comfortable, and centrally located right in the heart of downtown Pismo Beach. We love the comfort, quality and convenience of the hotel so we’re willing to pay the price for it. However, I was disappointed in the lack of cleanliness of the room and outside patio area. The fire pit, patio furniture and overall patio area was very dirty. The patio furniture was full of stains. I looked next door to my neighbors on both sides and they too have filthy patio furniture and patio areas. We also noticed several stains outside of several of the hotel room doors along the edges. For a classy hotel, the cleanliness is not up to par. I also had to wait almost half an hour for a roll of toilet paper. However, still a great experience with great, friendly, and professional staff. We love the lobby area and the rooftop restaurant. The views up there are amazing and the service is good. Despite a messy patio, we still enjoyed the fire pit at night with a pleasant view of the Pismo pier.

Location was lovely. Problem- Fold out in the living room was awful, could feel all the slats in the frame. Our guest was not able to sleep on it. Manager was notified, came to room and did not even open the bed to see! Suggested our guest use a seperate room. That was just not acceptable to us. We paid over $900 for 2 nights in this suite. The experience was in no way worth that amount of money! We were not offered any compensation. We will not repeat this mistake!
