Clean and lovely breakfast and housecleaning staff. It is a really good location as well. Important to note, if you have a federally recognized disability like my husband the manager will violate federal and Louisiana state law and charge you a dog cleaning fee. Also important to note that if they downgrade your room they will also refuse to refund you the difference. Be cautious and way the pros and cons.

Stayed in the cypress room. Very comfortable and really enjoyed our stay there. Breakfast was incredible.

Sympathic but not very professional : the air conditionner is noisy and smelly, the furniture is old or broken ... it is more a 2 ** than a 3 **.

I have stayed here before and loved it. Our check in guy seemed a tad grumpy- but we are resilient folks! The grounds are really pretty. The house is pretty too.

The house is old and historical in a good way. The day we checked in the staff had an emergency and we were able to check in one hour and a half later then the 4pm. checkin time.

Absolutely terrific management, beautiful taste, preservation!!! Food was amazing!!!! Absolutely amazing absolutely amazing couldn’t recommend it more to someone staying in Lafayette. It is for people who are melted by beautiful things.

Terrible mattress. Noisy air conditioning. Poor door lock didn’t feel secure. Unique and historic but not very comfortable.

Sofa in Victoria suite with sour odor. Bathroom smelled of urine. Window treatments inadequate.

Very good but would have been nice if they offered to service our room. We stayed 5 nights while most folks only stay 1 or 2. Maybe the hosts can be aware of this and communicate to the guests? We were there over a very busy period- Mardi Gras.

This is a welcoming and comfortable B and B with authentic feel. A bit weathered and relaxed in regard to finer details one might find in tip hotels, but more than makes up for by unique and homespun feel.

Our family enjoyed staying at Mouton Planation. The house is charming and all of the staff were amazing.

Lets see what didnt i like about the property...??? Absolutely nothing! The beds were like clouds and the pillows as soft as a feather! I am in love with going back in time and enjoying the atmosphere of this home and the rooms definitely hit every key point. We will be back for sure. Oh and Saturday morning french toast was absolutely devine!

We had a wind experience at this bed and breakfast! It was beautiful and clean with wonderful service. The breakfast was delicious as well as the check in experience was great. We had a late check in and early check out and had no trouble! Would definitely recommend!

The room was nice sized and comfortable The main room had a feel of older days with a large chandelier and lamps There were fresh flowers everywhere and the breakfast were tasty with interesting guests The only thing negative is the walls are thin and you can hear voices from the room next to you . But overall a. Ice non sterile chain feeling. Parking was available as well .

Our room was a loft, spacious but dark. The bathtub has no handshower and we were puzzled to have only feet towels. No shower towels were left in our room! We only stayed for one night and slept poorly because of the noise from the road and some very noisy guests arriving in the middle of the night. Breakfast was very poor. We do not recommend this place.

We attempted to stay at this property. The house itself, and the grounds, are lovely. I love history homes. Needs a bit of TLC, but not a big deal, especially for the price. The area isn’t the most ideal, but not terrible and like I said, the grounds are lovely. However when we attempted to go to bed, there were three coach roaches in one bed. We didn’t even check the others, just contacted the after hours line and left. Booked another hotel down the road. When we contacted Expedia about the stay, the owner of the Bed & Breakfast actually made up an entire story about us. That two of my group left in the night because of a raccoon and that after I ate breakfast I confronted him about the raccoon. I actually thought he must’ve gotten me mixed up with another guest. But no. He completely lied. Despite the images of roaches and my messages on the platform to him at 11pm (not to mention the call) AND my receipt for another hotel. So, the roaches are the least of the issue here. It is the management or owner that is scary.
