Great place to stay!! Staff was great, location and room!! First bed in Italy that was great to sleep in! Would stay again!!

This is a wonderful place in Positano. It’s 50m away from the SITA bus stop. Ricardo and his team are very attentive. They serve us Cappuccino every morning and provide ideas for our planned activities for the day. We are so lucky to bump into this wonderful team and place! We’ll recommend this place to our friends and family.

Our stay at Il Moro was nothing short of perfect. Ricardo was extremely friendly and accommodating, the room was super clean, very nice, and had great views of both the town and the Mediterranean. Will certainly be staying at Il Moro when we return, cannot recommend it enough.

The staff at Ii Moro is amazing but the true star of our visit was Ricardo. He assisted us with every possible need. Recommended wonderful places to eat. Was charming and lovely to chat with.

Lovely property with stunning views. We had a huge room with our own patio. Lovely breakfast included. The staff were friendly and helpful. It’s quite a challenging walk to town (many steps either on stairs or on a steep and windy road but fascinating. The hotel does have an elevators which makes it easy to check in and move luggage.

The most impressive thing during my positano trip was this hotel staffs. They are so kind and caring even for small details, thank you so much for your support again , Gaetano and Riccardo:) wish to go back soon!

The staff was absolutely amazing! Very kind a helpful. The rooms were so quiet and clean! Delicious breakfast. The balcony views were spectacular! 500 stair walk up from the beach but you can take the bus or taxi.

Staff was easily accessible and helpful. Location was walking distance to town of Positano and any bus within Amalfi Coast area

The hotel was so nice and our room was magnificent!! Out balcony was big and the view was so amazing! We loved our one night stay. We left our luggages to courier at the pier and they took those to the hotel and our walk to the hotel was littlebit easier. The hotel is pretty far to walk but it’s Positano so what you can expect. The staff was the best! They answered to my messages fast and they were so helpful and kind to us! The best people! <3 Breakfast was so good. There was all you need to start your day at Positano!

Lovely hotel, very clean and great AC for the hot weather. Breakfast was great with good service from the staff. A little walk away from the centre with a fair amount of steps, did not bother us. Shop also nearby

I simply cannot fault a single aspect of the service at Il Moro. Ricardo and the team run a fantastic service in the cleanest condition. Nothing is too much trouble for them. They are superb! I would never normally book such a small establishment but I’m so glad I did! Everything about the accommodation was fantastic. Thank you

Overall great stay

Great view, the most friendliest staff, clean rooms with natural light and a window that gave a great view of the town at night. Would stay here again!

Ricardo was awesome! Parking was perfect; no worries about the car at all. The room was spacious, balcony had the BEST VIEWs of all of Positano, and the breakfast was always on time. Ricardo made great coffees.

If I could rate this place a million stars I would. The view is the absolute best, the staff are some of the kindest, sweetest people, breakfast is fabulous with a great view. We felt so welcome at all times, I will only come here when visiting Positano. This place felt like a home away from home. Thank you for everything, can’t wait to return.

The hotel was clean and charming, the staff friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The hotel serves a good, simple breakfast with cappuccino starting at 8, and the manager will offer to come in early if you have a departure before then. The only caveat about this hotel is the location, high up in the hills, with nothing to speak of in walking distance save a "mini mart" that has meats and cheeses, beer, wine and the essentials. It is about a 15 minute walk down into town and to the main beach, easy going down but many steep steps that are not fun climbing up. Fortunately, there is a Positano 'Interno' bus that loops through the city every 30 minutes that goes trough the city center and stops near the hotel. If you are OK with this, this hotel is quite a value and recommended.

An overall excellent place. Very clean and quiet. Staff was very nice and friendly. We had a great balcony view from our room (see photo). Hotel is located a few minute walk from the stairs going down into the city center. Breakfast was great too. We would stay here again for sure.

The management of the hotel is excellent. The room had a great view of Positano and the Med, with a nice balcony. We were able to park our car at the property for a fair price. The Amalfi Coast was very busy for the end of season due to All Saints Day…a 4 day Italian holiday. I would highly recommend Il Moro Positano.

Absolutely excellent service and stay

Room was very nice and clean and the staff were extremely kind and helpful. Breakfast is included. Eating outside in the morning with a view over Positano was a highlight. If I had one complaint it would be that you have to walk along the main road to get to the stairway down into town, but it is only a 5 minute walk so it’s not so bad.

Il Moro Di Positano was a fantastic experience for us. The hotel was very clean and our room was quite large with 2 bathrooms and an amazing balcony and view. The service was 5 stars! A special shout out goes to Ricardo for being an absolutely amazing host. He gave us helpful tips from a locals perspective, was there every morning to greet us with a smile and coffee, and was very kind to answer all of our questions. He will be a very memorable part of our experience at Il Moro.

It was great hotel

My husband just stayed here for our honeymoon. I highly recommend staying here for anyone that is looking. The staff is very kind and extremely helpful. They showed us all the best ways to get around, provided recommendations, and were able to make reservations for us. The breakfast is the perfect amount to start your day. You do need to walk to get to the main beach area, but it really isn’t too bad. There is a shuttle back up from the beach that drops you right in front of the hotel, but we enjoyed walking back. We would definitely stay here again!
