Very clean and comfortable. Good location in Santa Barbara.

Decent stay. Convenient location. The worst part was the 35-pound Poodle in room 130. The dog barked constantly. We complained (nicely at first, then not so nicely after the kept ignoring) but it did not seem to matter. A close second was the tantric couple next to our room who seemed to be trying to prove how good of a time they were having. This led to a very long conversation with my 11-year-old. Overall the stay was enjoyable but I would expect more based on what we paid.

The hotel has a great service.

Thin wall and noisy pipes

This location is easy access to all directions around the city, customer service overall are friendly and good cooperation, any concerns would be easily resolved, especially when we had an issues with our room we got an immediate solution and that’s all what matters above all.

Good space, clean room, comfortable bed and sofa, nice size bathroom & quite.

While the stay was nice, going in and out of the parking lot was way more tight than it should be and then charging $10 for parking without notifying me are why I don’t give it a 4/5 stars. Breakfast was also pretty bland.

Sofa bed was so bad it wasn’t useable - you could feel the metal bars so clearly. Horrible sleep.

Good property located about 5 miles from Santa Barbara pier. Good value but not walkable to the beach, retail and attractions.

Don't order bar food, order a chicken caeser, asked if we wanted chicken? Then 2 pieces of chicken and just leaves for like 12 bucks. Everything is still in disposible containers as are most of the breakfast cutlery/plates etc. Girl on front desk was either highly or should have been. Rooms were however clean and comfatable. Breakfast ends really early and as a result not enough tables to sit at leaving guests wandering around with food unable to sit. Needs better management.

Rooms were clean and comfortable. Area was quiet. The breakfast was good. I like that it was next door to a restaurant. That staff were friendly. I also like that it is on State street which can be taken to get to the beach. Overall my husband and I enjoyed our stay.

It was a decent place to stay. I wasn’t too fond of the breakfast, it lacked a lot in flavor and the texture of the eggs was very off putting. The rooms were comfortable and clean

Small scale for a Hyatt, but that is a good thing. Staff could have been a bit more welcoming but generally no issues and we enjoyed our short stay

Do not stay here. The 2 front desk clerks are incompetent, with no personality. The manager Thomas is rude. We stayed there for 3 days, first day we had no water for hours, this is after we came back from the beach and wanted to take a shower. Asked the girls at the front desk when the water would come back on. They did not have a clue and did not even know that the water was shut off in the building because of a major leak. I asked to talk to Thomas the manager, she went to the back room to get him, and said he was busy and would call me in 20 min. He did not call me until 2 hours later, by then the water came back on. Thomas said that the water will be shut off again the next day for repairs, but did not know how long. We did not stay at the hotel that next day, we decided to go shopping instead. When Thomas spoke to me on the phone, he was rude, I asked him if he would give me a break in the price, and he gave me all kinds of excuses off why he wouldn't. I told him he should since we were there for 3 days and paid over a thousand dollars plus $10 a day parking. And Thomas said with a smart ass remark, "welcome to Santa Barbara". Also the spa looks large in the photo, it is small. I will never stay at a Hyatt again.

I liked that the property was pet friendly and had free parking. It's a 10 minute drive to Arroyo Burro beach. Breakfast was great both days. However I found the entrance from the freeway to be really tight when arriving. I liked that there was a Mexican restaurant right next to the property. However, the pictures on the site make everything look much bigger. The outdoor area was smaller than I expected. I didn't like that I was able to hear when other guests were taking showers. Not the hotel's fault but there were some loud kids whose parents were not really considerate of others.

Front staff (2 females) when we checked in was not friendly or welcoming. The manager who was there the following day was much more pleasant to guests. No one wore name badge which was a bit odd.

The pool was too small

The room was clean and spacious. Queen beds were comfortable and the room temperature was perfect.
