Great accommodations! Staff is super responsive; building is in a central location; apartments are beautiful. This was our second stay … because our first visit a year ago was so fabulous!

Loved my stay. I’ve stayed in similar “hotel apartments” before - there’s no concierge or front desk, your room isn’t cleaned whilst there (unless requested) BUT it’s a cute modern apartment building in the centre of town, with an apartment all to yourself. I found no cleanliness issues myself, my room was spotless and well stocked with everything I could need for a short self-catered visit. You can’t get closer to most of the best restaurants/bars/the university or other amenities (except grocery stores, which are on the edge of town). The roof terrace was clean and very peaceful. I also used the luggage lockers which were secure. Any questions or requests were managed by the offsite customer service team. It was a breeze, I’ve already booked a second visit on another business trip.

Great location in The heart of Ann Arbor. Large unit with all the necessary appliances and items to make the stay very comfortable.

Unit was not all that clean. There were broken wine glasses and dirty forks in the drawer. The rug looked dirty and the kitchen table looked well used. Had lots of scratches. Overall I think it's a bit overpriced for what it is.

Pleasantly surprised by the size and features in this full apartment-sized unit. Great location for dining and attending functions at The Ark.

I stay here often. Clean, great communication. Sometimes reasonably priced. But often high during UMich special events. Wished they offered a discount for repeat guests who stay at property often

The pre-check in SUCKS. They request a credit card as a security deposit which is normal. But then something on their end goes wrong and they continually harass you to use a different credit card. I was so anxious I called my cc issuer& everything was fine, I learned EVERY guest had this issue. It’s SO Annoying. And then the access code didn’t work at first- other guests had the same issue. And then so many emails… pre-checkout, checkout, etc. The room was really nice, great neighborhood, but the administrative aspect of it rates an F!

The rooms are nice but the lobby looks a bit seedy.

Requested an early check in and was told that the room was being thoroughly cleaned to the property's high standards and request could not be accommodated and was told to check back at 2:30pm. Was told that the cleaners were still hard at work. Moved to this hotel after a bad experience with guests (not staff or property) at a different hotel. Discovered that the price I was charged was twice the normal rate for the room. Finally given the go ahead to enter the room at about 20 min to 4. There was dirt all over the floor and metal BBs scattered about. Trash under beds. Mold on towels in the bathroom. Counters and glassware smelled of mildew...I'm assuming from the mildewed sponge in the sink. No actual cleaning crew anywhere in sight. No attempt at service recovery other than offering to invade our privacy by sending the crew back. Logged in to my Disney+ account on the Roku TV in the living room. Began getting emails about new logins to my account from at least four other guests at the property. It's a shame because it is a beautiful property in a great location.

I loved the convenience of having everything around us, i c could not have asked for a better stay. Located in the center of every unique shop i sought out for. It felt like home.

Good condo in Ann Arbor, good location. Had trouble with the access pin but the woman on the phone was very helpful and responsive.

The apartment has high end appliances and all basic kitchen items. Location is excellent. I wish it were maintained a bit better. Stainless steel was polished beautifully, but walls and doors were scuffed, some furniture stained, light bulbs were missing - things like that.

Nice property in great location. Will definitely stay here again.

We were not able to check in because the facility insists on getting a photo of your drivers license. This is a terrible fraud risk and despite numerous efforts to try to find another way to handle they said it was not possible. They did cancel the reservation and agreed to refund the costs but we had to find another hotel that cost quite a bif more

Don’t book this property! After I booked it from Expedia, it took me more than 2 hours to deal with their pre-checkin process which has 7 steps including entering your name, address. Uploading your drivers license and pre-authorization of security deposit. I would not complain these 7 steps since their check-in is contactless. It means you would check in by yourself. The problem was their system didn’t work and it didn’t work with any of my credit cards(visa, master, american express nor discover), so I had to contact their support team. They sent me a link and it didn’t work either. So at the end, I had to tell them my credit card information and they manually authorized it. It took them almost one hour to finish. Unfortunately, this was not the end. Every day before I check in, I receive an email and text message saying I had not finished my pre-checkin. The link in the mail and text message redirected me to their payment page which still didn’t work. So I had to contact their support to see whether my reservation was still valid. Because of this, i didn’t receive check-in instruction before my check-in time, I had to contact their support to get the instructions. If the reservation was cancellable, I would have done it the next day!

Perfect location for walking to shops and restaurants. Great communication (really TOO much - as for a 1 night stay, I have 13 different emails between hotels.com and Exhibit A-2 which is overwhelming!) Beds were comfortable!

There was a lot of miscommunication, especially approaching check in. In particular there was confusion over collecting a deposit, and the website they sent me to had no place to submit credit card information for it. They made me send a photo of a card, and I don't think that is really secure. The website also kept saying I had requested late checkout, but I had not. The place itself was great, easy to access, very nice room, modern and clean, and perfect location. If the website gets fixed, it will be a 5 star experience.

Great to have a full kitchen and washer/dryer. Wonderful location, parking garage was convenient.

Great location, room was nice, although there were a few weird things like the towel rack falling off, bathroom socket not working. Communication through the guest 'App' was clunky and unclear. While the app stated I could have a late check out, my requests were repeatedly denied, and I had to wait to check the app to see if there was a chat. This would be much more guest friendly if communication was through text. On top of that, the buildings fire alarm went off in the middle of the night for 30 minutes. With no staff on site, it was frustrating to resolve it. I paid too much for 18 hours in the room. While the room was fine, the overall experience was definitely not worth the price.

Luxuriously homey & private suite in the perfect Ann Arbor location. Near a parking garage and walkable to everything. Excellent communication for any of our questions or needs. Would definitely come back.

There was no wifi in my room for over two days and the property management didn't address the problem until Expedia stepped in. Over 48 hrs I was assured multiple times that they had people looking into it, but this was definitely not the case. Only after Expedia helped was I asked whether staff can enter my room, meaning that for over two days I was lied to about people fixing the problem. This was a work trip and I was basically unable to work during my stay. This level of customer service with something as fundamental as wifi us unacceptable.

Property was unclean. They said it was non-refundable and still had to pay. We left almost immediately after arrival. Food crumbs all over the floor, tables, countertops, and couch. Hairs and clothing tags on the floors and tables. Check in was difficult. Nobody reached out for a door code to get into the unit. I had to call them and was told it was because I made a mistake when making the reservation a week previously (no one reached out in the previous 7 days to say we need more information from you). Neither the property nor hotels.com would refund the money.

Nice spot with all the amenities

Everything was well thought-out for this property. Central location in Ann Arbor; there is nothing else like it.

Overall, this was a good concept. There is a very musty smell throughout the building which they should try remediating.

Easy to check in and great location wrt local restaurants. Within walking distance (12-15 min) to University of Michigan campus.

Great space and location. Lots of food choices around. Limited grocery stores however. Parking seems reasonable as well. Very close to U of Michigan campus.

Good appartments style hotel. All was good except the sheets and mattress were pretty old
