Beautiful spacious room with a great view of Lake Como.

Loved everything about the property with great personal service from Adel.

Breakfast was excellent and served on the terrace with amazing views of the lake. The views from all the rooms were amazing. The whole facility set up means you feel like you have rented a villa privately as there is no staff but the honesty bar and quiet location is expectional

Getting taxis was a problem and you are quite a way up the hill. going down is fine if not a little steep and takes about 15 mins. Coming back at night is a challenge as the hill is very steep. You need to plan and be organised in advance.

I highly recommend Casa Santo Stefano. The rooms surpassed expectations and I was very happy with the size of room, bathroom set up and comfortable seating area. The honesty bar downstairs is nice if you would like to grab a drink or snack and reasonably priced. The pool and views are spectacular. I looked forward to breakfast every morning as well. The hotel manager was great as well and very helpful with any questions. While you do have to walk to get to the main square, in my opinion it's worth it.

This place was absolutely STUNNING!!! The pictures online do not give justice to how incredibly beautiful the view, rooms, pool, and surrounding area are. I would highly recommend it to anyone! You definitely need a car to get to this hotel, but there is plenty of parking nearby. The breakfast was great and lots of food is included. You have the option to sit inside or outside in the most beautiful garden setting. We had a fantastic time celebrating our honeymoon here!

The only minor issue was the discrepancy between check-in time. Booking.com said we were able to check-in at 2 pm however hotel management let us know it was 2:30-3 pm.

Room #2 very nice, convenient location (so long as you have a car which we did), good shower, large room, wonderful breakfast, nearby restaurants, fabulous view

The location and decor. Views were lovely and the room was spacious with a lovely terrace.

It all looked beautiful, however, for me it lacked warmth and the staff, if courteous seemed a little disinterested. Wasn’t unfriendly, but wasn’t exactly friendly either. It felt very much like, ‘I come and do what is needed, but then I leave as soon as possible.’ The property felt unloved and showed that most of the time there wasn’t anyone present. Even though the property wasn’t on a main road, it was up the hill from the lake, so the noise from the road along the lake was very noticeable.

The rooms are modern and clean. Very good service and great breakfast. Would recommend.

I wanted a small accommodation with beautiful views of Lake Como with lowkey and understated luxury, and this was the perfect place. Adel presented breakfasts with a wide variety of the freshest choices and made an excellent cappuccino. The room had stunning views of Como and offered space to move around and be comfortable. The property (pool, landscape, gardens) is beautifully maintained. Quiet. The free parking is in an area off the street just across from the front door. Restaurants in Cernobbio offered good food and options.

Everything, absolutely everything involving my stay at the property itself was outstanding. The following is not a "didn't like," rather a heads up. Beautiful views mean elevation, and Casa Santo Stefano is located in the hills and, as I discovered, a healthy walk (~15 minutes) uphill from town and the lake. The walk -- both directions -- meant being exceptionally alert to cars driving quickly around the corners and one needs to hug the edges of the road as there are few sidewalks. The bus is infrequent. Neither the walk nor bus service is the responsibility of the innkeeper but something to keep in mind should you choose, as I, not to have a car. Had I known this ahead of time I would have still chosen to stay here.

Loved the location with the view to Como across the lake. The walk into the town is delightful. A quickly yet beautifully styled property. Great breakfast with a difference that caters for a variety of tastes. Helpful and interested owner who enhanced a great few days.
