The staff are super helpful and friendly. The villa was very clean, and the whole place had a happy, cared for feel. The staff really care about your stay. We loved the alresco kitchen and pool area. The private pool was incredible. The bedrooms were spacious, and the aircons were great. The location was good as we were a short bike ride from anywhere on the island. There was filtered water and coffee and tea supplies. Ozy organised a private snorkel trip, bikes and every request was met happily and professionally. Kezia in Bali organised our ferry and car bookings and everything went smoothly. So easy. Our group of 5 highly recommend the villa and staff.

If anyone has a mobility issue, the stairs were steep. However there is a bedroom downstairs and kitchen,pool ect is downstairs.

The villa was nice and clean, particularly the patio and pool. It had everything we needed for a short stay. The staff was friendly and helpful, easily reachable via WhatsApp. We booked various activities through them (floating breakfast, massage, snorkeling trip) and everything was great, with reasonable prices.

The location and Suite itself was great. Beautiful done, nice pool, breakfast etc. We were impressed by the way it looked.

The airconditioning wasnt working properly. This meant we paid more than 200 a night for 2 nights without sleep. We addressed this after night one. They said they fixed it but it still wasnt working. There was no warm water in the showers. This made our stay in the Akasia villa quite uncomfortable.

This place is spectacular, the pool was pristine. We stayed in a 2bdr villa and it was brilliant. It was all the little touches such as refillable water rather than bottles, mozzie coils as there are quite a few mozzies being island life. Location was superb. Being a short walk to the sunset side and walkable from the harbour

The two rooms are separated by the open kitchen with only a small pathway between the pool, so not the greatest with young children who can't swim so we had to sleep in separate rooms with 1 kid each. Honestly didn't phase us tho and the main downside was that we didn't stay in Gilli Air longer. Will definitely be back!

You get a real sense of your own space and you’re not surrounded by the busy tourist scene, but close enough to to everything - it’s a small island.

beautiful 2 bedroom villa. the place looks even nicer and the pool was bigger than it looks like on the pictures. fully equipped kitchen and very clean and comfortable beds. very friendly and responsive staff.

the only thing that we can think off is that it would be nice to be closer to the beach. not that far to walk but with kids everything is far ;). we stayed there during rain season so it was a lot of mosquitoes but luckily the big fan in the outdoor kitchen kept them away so we could still spend the evenings there.

The staff was absolutely amazing! Not only did they assist us with transportation to Gili Air from Bali, they also helped us coordinate transportation to Gili T, ferry to Bali and transport to Ubud. They also provided wonderful recommendations around the island. The were absolute wonderful hosts, very courteous and attentive. We enjoyed the location as it was a bit more secluded and tucked away from the major tourist areas, which allowed us to have restful nights and relaxing days in our plunge pool. I would recommend staying here to everyone! Thank you for everything, you made our trip so easy and stress free!

There isn't anything I can honestly think of. They were attentive if something wasn't working properly, quick to fix anything. My recommendation would be that if you have any issues at all, just reach out to their team through WhatsApp and they'll help out as soon as possible!

Utterly magic. A perfect location to enjoy Gili Air from. On the north east of the island although a bit further from the town centre a stones throw from the north east beach where the snorkelling and beach bars were the best. The villa blew our socks off the private pool was beautiful with an outdoor dining space and chill out zone that we loved having breakfast and drinks in. The bedroom was spacious and comfortable! The staff were very attentive, even giving us the option to find a softer pillow! The breakfasts delivered were yummy!

The breakfast was awful. Cold and served in camping can the juice- guava or leman was tasteless. If you want a coffee you should order it at another restaurant with minimum 20 of waiting and worst case 40 minutes. Trully doesn't worth the price

Cleanliness, service and need an huge refreshing. Old installations. Our villa was just next to the staff room. Noisi from morning until eveninqlg as really bad. We can even heard them cleaning dishes

Pool was amazing, clean and had swings. They had menus to order food from a local restaurant. The staff were lovely and accommodating. They went above and beyond and had everything you could possibly want and need.

Lovely spacious villa, has everything you need such as cooking/fridge/storage. Pool and outdoor area is stunning, bedroom and bathroom were also perfect for us.

Breakfast. It was dry both days, juice was warm even though it is in flasks, fruit was also dry.

Akasia is a little further to walk to the main village and beaches, but it is so easy to walk everywhere on Gili Air that this wasn't a major issue. Recommend to rent the bicycles.

Our family stayed three nights at the three bedroomed Alaska Suites as a treat for our Wedding Anniversary. The villa exceeded our expectations and was beautifully presented and spotlessly clean. The beds were comfortable and there was a lot of space to relax, both inside and out. We loved the open plan downstairs area and we used the pool for hours every day (and evenings). The area was a quiet part of the island away from the crowds which we loved. The staff were very professional, helpful and friendly, cleaning the villa every day to a very high standard. The beds/bedrooms were huge and each room had an en suite bathroom with hot showers. We loved that the free toothbrushes were bamboo - great to see!

Everything about the place really was great. The only thing that could be an issue for some was one of the staircase steps had a large gap which a child could fall through, so caution is required.

The staff was really extraordinarily service oriented. we had a fantastic stay at Akasia Villas. When we arrived we were already warmly welcomed and got all insider tips when it comes to places to be and thinks to do at Gili. Every wish from our sides was fulfilled immediately. Rooms were clean and very nice as well as the pool. Staff who cleaned our rooms also made some jokes with the toys of our children so that we really had to laugh 😂 coming back to our room. So really nice place to stay on Gili.

Comfortable beds, responsive and helpful on site staff, drinking water provided + cutlery + plates. They organize bike rentals and deliver them which is helpful as bikes are the only method of travelling on the island essentially

Environment: Surrounded by construction sites so it is super noisy throughout the day and not peaceful at all. Some of the locals blast out on radios religious recordings and so the villa is not in a very peaceful environment. We tried to be out as much as possible as a result and only slept there at night. Transfer: Got completely scammed on the transfer organised by the Akasia admin team. They organised a shuttle bus (which was a broken bus out of the 1970s) which took 3-4 hours as it makes so many stops. We were charged 200k IDR for a 5minute horse cart ride from the port to the villa, they tried to make us pay for 2x 200k carts because apparently they didn't know we were bringing luggage...in the end the villa said it was their fault and so we wouldn't pay for it after a lot of arguing and explaining on arrival which is never pleasant after a long journey. Ended up negotiating the horse ride back for a fraction of the price myself so guests are being ripped off. Very bad transfer and very bad communication, had to organise a private transfer back was only given some fake promise of an investigation into what happened. Lack of luxury considering the price: was provided with ripped towels (didn't even bother complaining), late breakfasts, wrong orders, electricity randomly turning off in the night so no air con until it could be fixed in the morning, the swimming pool didn't quite smell right not sure if they have the correct staff to maintain the pool, Wifi is a mess and showers only had lukewarm water neither hot nor cold. Don't listen to any food recommendations or use food menus in the villa gave us all runny stomachs just try and use google maps and look for best reviews like mamas pizza. There isn't the best choice of accommodation on Gili air but unfortunately money will be wasted here and you will be frustrated by terrible communication.

we completely liked everything, the villas are wonderful and very comfortable and the staff is 10 very attentive, friendly ... The villas do not have restaurant service but they offer you two loads of different restaurants that take you to the villa one of them is It became our daily choice so everything was great.
