aircoon needed 12hours to make it comfortable as we checked in on a very hot day,no sleep before midnight. no lift in our building, as shown in gallery pics, we had to carry the luggage 2 floors upstairs, the terrace can‘t be used in summer before 8pm, no shading

We were booked in at Residence Bleu but we received a call 2 days before to advise there was a water leak in our apartment. Residence Bleu arranged another accommodation for us and ensured we were taken care of, covering our drinks and food bill by way of apology. They still allowed us access to the facilities such as the garden. This turned out to be one of our favourite stops on the Alpe Adria trail in a lovely friendly village.

The leak was unfortunate but not their fault and they more than made up for it. We can’t comment on our original apartment but our stay ended up perfect.

Cute little town on 10 minutes drive from Trieste. Apartment is really nice and clean! Very dog friendly :) Definitely recommended!

The stylish well appointed apartment in a small town next to the nature preserve was perfect for our walking tour. The beds were comfortable and there were multiple restaurants nearby. Public transportation would make access to Trieste easy. The large nature preserve nearby makes this an ideal location for hikers and birdwatchers. The staff were very helpful and made sure everything worked smoothly.

Everything about the stay was ideal. We would happily stay here again.

Absolutely everything was great. Location in the center of the village, everything is nearby, local restaurants, markets. The bus stop is also very close. Excellent covered parking. The biggest impression was made by the staff who tried their best to explain the tourist attractions in Trieste, where are the coffee bars, restaurants, what to do... All recommendations for accommodation.

Fabulous apartment, booked as an interim stopover on a long journey back from Croatia to Germany for two nights. Great, rural location with everything we needed right outside the apartment block, such as a shop, restaurant, cafe etc. Apartment was very clean, spacious, quality, well equipped and extremely comfortable. The bed was superb! So welcoming and sleep was wonderful. Bathroom (one of the most important features for me) was excellent. Very clean, modern, power shower, lots of space. Kitchen had everything required to cook a meal if desired and to enjoy seated around the dining table. Layout of building was so convenient with a lift from the underground, key card access, car parking right to the apartment door. Our two dogs were welcome to stay with us, but there are strict policies on behaviour and cleanliness. This is a good thing, because it's something we agree on but obviously not all dog owners share that responsibility. We would never leave our dogs alone in a strange place, yet this is one of the rules the owner stipulates. All of the staff we met were very friendly and accommodating. At check-in we were greeted and given a full tour of the facilities and all queries were met, everything was explained. Such a great place to stay. We were certainly not disappointed.

There is a dog in the next apartment block that barks at all hours of the day and night. Literally, I heard it barking when I arose at 4am, and it continued all day and evening. I see from other reviews that this is a problem for complaints. It is a very disturbing sound, rather annoying after a time. Doesn't seem to be any owners keeping the dog under control. It's nothing to do with this property listing though, it's external. But if I was the owner I would be looking to find some resolution. The noise of the dog resonates into the apartment, but fortunately not into the bedroom when the door is closed.

We really enjoyed the room. It was nice, cozy and clean. The staff was also friendly. We recommend this place.

We absolutely loved the area and its atmosphere :) Small coffee place with friendly staff and great coffee, amazing bakery next door, grocery shop one minute walk from our place and underground parking in a hot weather - all of it was a nice bonus. And, some people might not enjoy it but we loved regular bell ringing from tiny little church "next door" too. We are definititely coming back! :)

Because of my current health condition we couldn't use air condition so we had to keep our windows open which led to a dog barking noises from the neighborhood. However, if you keep your windows closed it will be not an issue at all :)

We highly recommend the place as its simply beaitiful ..the area ..the coffee across the street..the apartments super clean and well equiped ....we r sorry we stayed only one night ...absoultely will come back...

Everything was fantastic. The hotel is located on the main square of the village, closed to many bars, coffee shops. The host lady was very kind and helpful.

The only annoying thing was a loudy equipment in the garden closed to the room (it may have been the fan of the garage level)
