I love this Hotel is cozy and beautiful convenient location in Downtown Morelia close to Mercado Livertad where you can find all kinds of food fruit and souvenirs

Mostly friendly staff. The rooms are inexpensive, but pretty comfortable. Small elevator. Probably the only inconvenience. Parking is a few doors down, safe,covered,with cameras. Streets in Morelia are bad. Here is no different. It's on the edge of el Centro. An outdoor market around the corner for fruits,vegetables, etc.. Just a few blocks from a lot of things if you want to stay in and see the historic City Center. I extended my stay on property and will return to this hotel. They're pretty accomodating. No pool or gym,but there's an inexpensive gym nearby called EcoGym. I've stayed in a dozen hotels in Morelia. This is in the top 3 and one of the 4 least expensive. The others weren't as good

The mattresses are terrible

Good service but they need extra keys for the rooms in case of an emergency.

Our room was spacious with a comfortable bed and good size desk for work. Lighting is weak and towels are old. But the proximity to the centro is a plus. Overall it was a pleasing experience even though you can hear people talking late at night.

My room was Executive, included small kitchen. Room is decent, not luxurious. Staff were very attentive and profesional.

No bellboy available. Front desk not friendly enough.

the rooms were very, very small. the windows had a thin curtain that did NOT block light from outside, it was a bright room at night, had a hard time sleeping

The hotel staff were great and very accommodating; the location was pretty good; the wifi fine. Unfortunately, the rooms were noisy, pillows lumpy, sheets thin, holes in towels; all led to uncomfortable night's sleep. We changed rooms thanks to helpful staff but issues remained. Cannot recommend.

Property is in need of a remodel. Very old furniture, old tube TV, faded furniture and bed spreads.

The location of the property was great and it was close to the center of town.

Hotel with its own private parking in a city where there is no parking is a winner for me.

Tuvimos buena experiencia, el hotel esta ubicado en buena zona, el cuarto en buenas condiciones y cómodo, solamente no nos gustó la falta de privacidad del baño por las puertas que tiene instaladas, y las puertas del balcón no brindan mucha confianza en cuestion de seguridad.

It was very nice, the front desk ladies were very helpful and fulfilled my requests. The room was very spacious, clean, with a bit of a view. The hotel is within walking diatance of restaurants, shopping and main attractions. I would stay at Hotel Marcella again

Everything was on place, nice and clean, close to everything and it was the right hotel for us.

Stayed here for couple days and I enjoyed it. Rooms were clean , staff were friendly ( limited English though) , and noise level wasn't bad at all. Key features -Great location -very clean and safe -No A/C. But a ceiling fan. But room was still on the hot side. This was in April... can't imagine the heat in summer though -Private parking (Gated) -24/7 front -free bottled water Overall I enjoyed my stay. It was affordable And very clean.

Friendly staff, clean and comfortable room and beds. Close to historic city center. Lacked access to computer/printing services. The hallway (third floor) lacks proper illumination, too dark that makes it scary unsafe; it has sensors that don’t illuminate quick and well enough, I had to use a flashlight.

We requested a king but got a queen bed. The room was huge with a separate living area with a hide a bed couch. Furnishings were well worn. Our room also had a door to a private patio. Parking was a couple of doors down in a secure covered lot. Newer carpeting.. Lots of room for the money. About a six block walk to the cathedral.

Stayed one night there, to visit friends. Always surprised by Morelia, its charm as a colonial city is second to none. And the array of foos is just great.

Easy check-in process and friendly staff. The hotel shares a covered parking lot with the hotel next door, making it convenient.
